Question Moto G Pure (TracFone) restarting in Safe Mode. - Moto G Play (2021)

Hey y'all I hope that it is okay that I am posting this here (if not my apologies and please move or delete the thread).
So I have a Moto G Pure TracFone variant (i.e. locked bootloader and such) and it somehow got into a bootloop I guess it would be considered. The phone starts up but quickly restarts or reboots once the message saying com.android.phone has stopped. It does this even in Safe Mode. I'm curious what are my options if any to preserve the phones contents (back it up, photos/videos/etc.)
I hope that I'm not being to vague and any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Edit: I'm on the latest firmware.

It's likely a factory reset will fix the problem.
If you haven't turned on USB debugging before in developers options you cannot backup anything.
You might be able to reflash the firmware but it can be tricky with the locked bootloader.

USB Debugging is for sure on, and I was hoping not to lose any of my personal data/files, but if so, so be it. Thank you for your help it is appreciated. This should be fun.

Lg G4 with system wiped not detected by the PC

Hello,
I am relatively new to the forum, so please, forgive me some mistakes . I decided to upgrade my LG g4 H815 to Nougat, rooted it and started in TWRP mode. I followed an youtube step by step guide, so i wiped cache and the system .And...accidentally dropped the phone and it disconnected
I have no android now and have a fresh bricked phone on the loading screen, and more-the phone is not detected by the PC. LGUP with Uppercut gives model unknown , not found by device manager as well. "Adb devices" in the console produces the same result. I can enter download mode, but when the phone is not detected, the stock firmware can't be flashed. The drivers are up to date of course.
Any help or solution will be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Realme U1 unable to boot at all

Greetings, everyone. I'm unable to boot my Realme U1, after a recent unwise decision of relocking its bootloader after flashing a custom boot image i found over this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/method-rooting-realme-u1-t3916683
I hadn't encountered locked bootloaders before, so I realised it isn't supposed to work with android pie, which resulted in a system crash.
Now i'm unable to get the device recognized by my pc at all,and it keeps saying that the current boot image is destroyed and cannot boot.
Also, only recovery mode is working.
Any suggestions on what i must do to fix this?
any kinda help would be greatly appreciated
and thanks
I also have exact problem no solution till now!!!

Hey man!
It's not a hardbrick, its soft brick.
If you can access recovery then flash a custom recovery, then flash the original boot.img and recovery.img, then reboot to COS recovery flash your ozip and reboot this should fix it!
Hope this helps!

Question HARD Bricked Moto G power (2021) XT2117-4 / Blankflash, Flash file, or emmc_prog_firehose request.

Requesting someone's backup of emmc so I can unbrick my XT2117-4 Retail(Retus) Moto G power 2021. Stuck in Qusb-HS Dloader 9008 mode after setting active slot to b with nothing on slot b in fastboot. If I could atleast somehow swap back to slot_a I feel like that would work but I don't think that's really a possibility in edl. Mainly the GPT also would be helpful. Motorola/borneo_retail/borneo:10/QZBS30.Q4-43-35-2/f8e93:user/test-keys is the build I was on at the time. My phone is hard bricked not soft bricked. There is no fastboot mode only edl mode with Qcom HS-USB 9008. I believe It got bricked by me switching to slot_b in fastboot mode with nothing on slot_b not even bootloader. Also my bootloader is unlocked and it was rooted with magisk at the Time of hard brick. I believe fastboot set_active_slot b was the command that bricked it or what ever the correct usage of the set active command was if that's not exactly it. I just need the emmc_prog_firehose for SM_KAMORTA_H or SDM662 or SM6115. Whatever the proper name out of those it would be I guess for this phones type.
Can't use LSMA since it's hard bricked it doesn't even recognize anything is plugged in. I need a blankflash file to use with qboot or the emmc_programmer and then use QFIL or QPST possibly. I use Linux and Windows both if that helps at all somehow.
More info from a reply of mine.
REPLY:
"No it specifically warned that there was nothing on b and it was dangerous but I wasn't paying much attention to it because I was watching family guy so I told it to go ahead and switch. Insta brick after that decision. It does warn you though or it did with me on my phone. Whenever you've done it your slot probably wasn't really "empty" in the sense it didn't have a bootloader on it. You can't boot up a phone that's on a slot without even a bootloader on it otherwise you'll literally have nothing to load your boot image in the first place which means no recovery or fastboot either for A/B devices hence you then have a hard bricked phone in emergency download mode afterwards that either needs reprogrammed or deep flashed (If there's really a difference I don't know). I think you still need a firehose_emmc_programmer or Blank-flash file which has a programmer in it to do that though which is what I need. Some phones might have different emergency protocols for that situation or maybe it's been updated since to where it prevents A/B phones from getting stuck in limbo on an empty slot but the XT2117-4 Moto G Power 2021 doesn't it just warns or atleast when I bricked mine. It's nice to have the option for developer and testing purposes probably or just as a way to get into EDL Mode. I just wasn't paying as much attention as I should have been while tweaking my phone. I'm not a developer or expert though so someone correct me if I'm mistaken somewhere but I have atleast an alright understanding of what's going on I hope from my experience with rooting/rooted phones. A/B partitioning is still kind of a weird newer thing to me since I haven't done much after bricking my G Power and I was used to System As Root before that."

Hello guys. I have this device and I'll help you. Mine's not rooted yet which is why I came to ask a question and accidentally clicked this thread. Tell me what I need to do to get what you need and I'll do it. i don't know how to use a mouse in TWRP and it sounds like that's what you need. I have a wireless mouse with a usb dongle but no type-c otg at the moment. I just found out from another post in here about using twrp from a terminal. I need to learn more about that too. Dude made a kernel backup with an adb twrp command. I asked him about it but have gotten no response.I also only run linux, but may install a windows 11 virtual machine to use LMSA since every lolinet kernel I've rooted so far results in no touch response.
Have you guys tried fastboot flashing the entire lolinet firmware? I just made a tutorial on it. I've never had a problem that wouldn't fix and I have quite a bit of experience....

I'd bet that would fix it. It re-writes all partitions.

Ok. I have a question as I've never used a mouse with my phone before. Are you guys using a mouse through OTG to use im TWRP? To help you any time soon I'll have to find info for using TWRP with ADB commands as I don't think I have the hardware to use my mouse.
Edit: I found information faster than I thought I would. I looked it up in the past and could find nothing but it's a new feature.

Okay, that would require me to factory reset because I won't send a backup of my logged in system. I would do that if I thought it would help, but it won't. I don't thiink amyone has beennable to restore a stock nandroid on these auto-encrypting motos. If I''m wrong, and I may be, show me. I've tried many times and many ways. I have been able to restore custom backups, but never stock.

Ok. How was it that you switched slots and got stuck? I want to experiment but I don't want to make the same mistake.
Also, if your bootloader is locked, aren't you still under warranty? Can you make a warranty claim?
If not, you may be able to unlock it in your current state which might make fixing it easier. You could try
fastboot oem get_unlock_data
and if it returns some lines of code you can likely unlock it now.
With a locked bootloader you are very limited and my twrp backup of a RETUS would have had no chance at all of helping you unless you happen to have a factory unlocked US variant.
I had it rooted and the bootloader unlocked...then i tried to follow a flash back to stock and re lock boot loader guide....but now when it boots it says no valid os or i can go into fastboot and thats about it....

So sorry. If i think of anything else I'll let you know. I think relocking your bootloader with an altered kernel was a bad idea, but I think relocking your bootloader is a bad idea anytime.

I have a bricked Pico Neo 3 Eye (VR Headset). Any advice on where to get started on flashing it?

So my company sent me a VR headset for development. I tried to update it, but upon doing so, it produced an error and bricked the VR headset. The customer support isn't helping at all, so I'm thinking of just flashing it myself (I'm new to this,).
I tried doing a factory reset, but it only showed me "No command" and reboots again. It has no SD card, and ADB can't recognize the device. The bootloader says it's locked, so I'm pretty sure it's almost impossible for me to crack it. The OS is available on the website, but again, it's almost impossible for me to replace the OS without the SD card and having it recognized by ADB.
If it's not possible to flash it, is there anything interesting I could do with it?

when it boots up click power and vol up on the no command screen. then factory data reset and see if it will work . if not. let me know drivers dont exist for this headset for adb sideload updating so ya.
try using a usb c to usb c adaptor try putting the zip on the root of the sd or usb drive if not try making a file and call it dload.

they really dont exist because of what pico is using they are using old nexus 5 drivers for the pico recovery. and that is terrible. the best thing to do is download and install ubuntu on a spare pc. once its on the spare pc you will need to setup adb there. ince you have adb there you can run the normal adb sideload in recovery.
fyi you have 2 different kinds of headsets this is why it may or maynot fail at recovery.
pico has oem and non oem firmware and lucky we have access to this on the pico 3 website where the downloads are. the pico 3 pro on there is non oem firmware and the pico 3 link is oem firmware.
the best thing to do after this or if you need more help find my you tu be channel and contact me there i hardly check xda

Rooting Note10 Lite with Android 12

What a crazy few days it's been.
This phone is really locked down hard by vodaphone.
I need to root it in order to install the full NetHunter suite. Some features are not available if the phone is not rooted. ie adding another wifi adapter that supports packet injection and monitor mode.
So my 1st move was Frija, and odin. This nearly bricked my device. Got it restored and went with the magisk route.
This is kind of where I'm stuck. fastboot. I did adb reboot-bootloader and it just sits on this green text that says...

Fastboot commands does not work. Obviously.
My 1st mission is to fastboot oem unlock.
So I've read a few devices has fastboot disabled by the providers. ie vodaphone, or even samsung?
I've tried my google foo but found nothing of value for these parameters. note 10 lite, android 12, vodaphone.
What should my next angle be?

Hello, I have successfully rooted a Samsung tablet without TWRP. After unlocking the bootloader, you need to use Frija to download the firmware file, and then you need to extract it. After that, you can send the AP partition file to your phone over adb, patch it in the Magisk app, and pull it back to your computer. From there you need to flash it in Odin, and do a factory reset from recovery mode. (When downloading the firmware file choose the correct model, software version, and CSC.) I can send a short video proof of the rooted tablet later when I get home from school)

I can send a short video proof of the rooted tablet later when I get home from school)

So what you need to do is:
Install some drivers
Build an edl cable with an old USB cable to force it into edl without test point
And then download stock firmware and flash it in qfil

Would you be able to help me locate the stock rom? I have this gut feel this is why I'm bricking it all the time. Maybe Frija is grabbing the wrong image. Then when magisk patch it, the core is wrong, then it goes haywire

The only sticker on the box.
We can close this thread. I've come to the conclusion that the Note 10 Lite is a terrible platform to try and root. Virtually zero roms out there. Bricked it 3 times already.
Going to sell it, and try and get my hands on something like an old netbook
