Question Help would be greatly appreciated. - OnePlus Nord N20 5G

I got the cph2459 model to explicitly avoid T-Mobile's lock however I am now in my second bootloop, and finding CPH2459 is a needle in a haystack where GN2200 is all over the place. ;/ I went to OnePlus customer support and they said ill hear back from them within 24 hours, but i luckily broke my backup device two days prior and am locked out of 2FA on most of my accounts. I tried flashing older firmware , and it at first refused to allow any critical partitions to flash killing my ability to use networking, and it then proceeded to bootloop for two or so days now, and at this point my main concern is my attempts at fixing this push the issue beyond recovery.

Still searching for a full image of cph2459

I used fastboot enhanced https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...enhance-payload-dumper-image-flasher.4310553/
To flash to a lower stock using a OTA payload.bin I would be happy to upload that as well however I messed up my IMEI and the IMEI fix using diag mode has not fixed that issue as of yet

Once on a lower firmware I let it normally update to the c.10 update and flashed N20 5G [CPH2459] - Unlock/Root/Safetynet (Step-by-Step)
These img to get root and made a full backup I'd be happy to share at no cost.

I have tried correcting my IMEI with two tools now with no luck ive tried reflashing my nhlos core's modem's and I may have to go directly to OnePlus as I switched to the unlocked CPH2459 and returned my GN2200.

I flashed modem backups now trying to flash modemst1 & st2 along with fsg, fsc, and a few other partitions linked to the efs like the efs, efs1, efs2, and efs3 partitions im making a flash script for those partitions and hoping to avoid getting a box to fix. It will be substantially easier once TWRP is completely operational. I will look later today at where it is, and if it needs anything I can contribute to it I will try to add it on, and I also will post my full CPH2459 partitions once EFS is operational so I dont submit partitions that may just give someone else this issue if I cant fix my IMEI ill use a box (NOTE: if you attempt the same it is illegal to change your IMEI in anyway other than restoring the exact IMEI related specifically to your device my posts regarding methods I use to repair my own is EXPLICITLY advice on fixing any baseband or IMEI corruption and not meant to be used for illegal purposes.) I will keep posting any progress in fixing my IMEI and baseband issues and what I had to do to restore my IMEI to its original value from the back of the box.

From my reading into other QUALCOMM and snapdragon issues that mimic my issue it seems the QCN becomes either corrupt, or deleted and has to be fixed, or your EFS or Persist data is deleted, or corrupted and flashing firmware can on rare occasions lead to this issue, and I am going to try various fixes and report back what works in the event anyone else needs to REPAIR an IMEI issue (AGAIN imei changes other then fixing a device to it's actual original imei is in most regions a crime and this information going forward is in no way nor should in anyway be used as advice changing your imei from it's original imei located on the back of the box you received the device in.

MTK devices are far easier in regards to repairing the issue so what luck we have a Qualcomm device -_-

I used a box, but that information will be really helpful moving forward lol. GSM SHIELD.

what if i copy my second i9300 efs folder and then put it on my first i9300 will it fix the no service issue
and sorry for bad english
Sounds like you have at least one stolen phone. Good luck getting help with that.
i installed omega v14 and it change my imei i forget to back it up i didn't stole it
and the phone with changed imei i buy it at t-mobile netherlands shop
And the other phone?
Regardless, you won't find much help trying to spoof an IMEI.
to phone with the original imei i buy at typhone.nl with vodafone contract if u dont believe just dont i want to fix the no service issue
No you cannot transplant IMEI numbers since they are encrypted with (amongst others) the device/CPU ID which is unique and unchangeable for all devices. It would be illegal anyway, additionally since you will not be able to use both phones at the same time pointless.
Have it repaired by Samsung (depending on the location and serice center it should cost you some 60-ish $.
Then, wehn you get it back, do the damn EFS backup so you wont have that same issue again.
okay thanks i have one last question what do i say if samsung ask whats wrong with this phone
Hi, I think your problem is generic IMEI, you can recover your original IMEI by flashing it with stock ROM. Or try to find a repairing shop which have SPT box or Octopus box.

flash it back to a stock Rom with Odin. Since you are on xda you should know how to do this with ease. Use the search button.

There are so many posts in this forum to recover corrupted IMEI. One simple method is try to flash it with original stock ROM or in efs folder, rename the 'nvdata.bin.bak' file to 'nvdata.bin' and replace the old one.
First go through the original posts and then try the above methods...
thanks i already trying instal stock rom but no luck
here u can see my screen shot of the efs folder .

Um... I think the OP has some explaining to do - since late August s/he has been posting asking for help to fix IMEI in a number of threads - in fact that has been the ONLY topic/question for all the posts. Previously s/he was in Thailand and now it is 'live in Netherlands' - also one phone has a fake IMEI and the other doesn't yet both have been bought from vendors. One has to wonder why s/he wouldn't simply go back to the vendor and get the stuffed phone repaired? Apparently it IS working, (i.e. not hard-bricked) so it would seem all that is needed is to pay a service fee and 'Voila!' working S3.
Logically this leads to a thought about the legitimacy of the 2nd (and maybe both) phone(s) - 3 weeks of trying many threads to get someone to provide a new IMEI seems a little excessive.
Agree this and the multiple posts is getting very suspicious . Plus not the only post asking to borrow somebody's EFS folder .

yup
Closed, you have already opened a thread on this, more than once, send it to samsung and they will fix it, seems you are beyond repaid at this point.

[Q] Help!! Mobile Network not Working after flashing JB - Help!!

Hello guys,
First of all, I've trying researching myself, doing searches, trying different builds for 2 days before coming here to bother you. Please bear with me I'm really worried.
Ok so this is what I did (Now I know I made many stupid mistakes) All updates made using ODIN and Bootloader mode.
Had this GSM unlocked i9300 working on ICS 4.0.4. with no issues...
Baseband: I9300XXLEF

then I wanted JB.
Installed CyanogenMod 10 right away (without installing a stock JB first... stupid, yes)... calls and Wifi worked, but no mobile data networks. Tried a lot of modems with no luck. I was able to select a mobile data provider but it failed to register. However calls worked at this point.
Then I tried a local operator stock rom (ICS) ... things went worse, I wasn't even able to search for mobile data providers and calls didn't work either.
Then I tried another ICS stock rom and exactly the same thing happened.
Things now look like this:
(I've changed the modem to match the original)
I'm pretty desperated at this point. I'm afraid I could've damaged my phone?
All I want now is going back to ICS stock and have my voice and data networking fixed. I think part of the problem is that I installed a ROM that is NOT for unlocked phones.
Please, please shed some light over here. I don't care about data or settings, I just want this NOT to become an expensive 3.8 wifi tablet.
Is your IMEI correct .
If not restore your EFS backup .
jje
The ROM that you've installed has nothing to do with your problem... And at the point that you're at it's no use to keep jumping from a ROM to another, just follow the procedure that JJEgan as described (about restoring the EFS backup) and you should be fine.
check ur emi. if its showing 0000 den u need to restore your efs backup. if u dont have den u r out of luck
Ok I'm afraid to say I Don't have a EFS Backup... but I can´t give up guys, there must be a way
All I did is installing different roms and modems... could this corrup my IMEI?
Update:
I have installed this ROM I9300XXDLJ2_I9300XEFDLJ2_XEF and now it seems there's a bit of hope for me:
Says registered to network when I tap on my operator, but still no calls or mobile data.
seem we have the same dilema. Has you IMEI changed to a different number?
No it hasn't. Did yours?
F&*^ yup unfortunately mine did
Also, keep in mind that before I switched the 2nd ROM calls were working but not mobile data. If I'm not mistaken, if the IMEI was the problem, I wouldn't have been able to make calls either.
Please don't give up on me guys.
PS. As you can see in the pictures above, now I'm able to search and list the available providers.
This might be the answer to our problems http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1918601 but the OP deleted the thread

Its written on the original box or under the battery
If its different then ur in trouble. EFS backup restore needed or back to Samsung repairs center..............
just press *#06# see if its the same on your original box
or take out your battery and check the sticker at back of your phone
No box here...
Went as far as trying to completely dissaemble the thing to see if I find the IMEI somewhere... no luck.
I'm reaching 21 hours non sleep... This is so frustrating.
Why on earth did u dismantle all the phone when we told u its under the battery?
If its not under the battery then its definitely on the box but if u got no box then i guess its hard luck my friend!
Thank you all for trying to help.
I've just found the solution of this, but I'm not sure whether it would be ok to publicly share it or not because it's the work of another person who I believe is asking for donations about it.
Head to zeromemory's link to find your answer.
Zeromemory, I'll PM the solution that worked for me, and I hope it works for you.
After 23 hours of being awake, I need to sleep. Once again, thank you guys.
I hope that thread reopens very soon so we can try that solution. For the meantime time to catch some ZZZZ's im on to another solution there i will post if that works.
Will wait for that solution too. Don't forget to share it.
It could be that your IMEI has changed. Check it by typing *#06# and check it with your box to see if it's the same one..

If you used gsu and didn't format your internal memory, you have an efs backup in /sdcard/galaxsimunlock/efs_backup.tar.gz
Just use gsu to restore it.

GSU = GalaxSim Unlock, sorry for not being clear
So, GSU makes a backup of your efs folder before unlocking your device. If something happened to your efs data, just click on "restore efs" and your stock efs will be back on your phone (and the lock with it of course), then clicking again on unlock will unlock your phone again, based on your stock efs folder.
If your efs has been tampered somehow, it will fix it. If you still have the problem, the issue lies elsewhere (you might want to flash a radio or full rom)

Updating firmware while unlocked/rooted/TWRP

SM-T860 that is unlocked, rooted with Magisk, TWRP recovery installed, WETA Kernel installed, running ASK1 November security update firmware.
I'm not new to rooting and all, but am fairly new to Samsung devices and am still learning all the tricks and tips.
I know that OTA updates are not possible in my current state, but Is it possible to some way manually update the firmware to the ASL3 version without having to just reflash stock and loose everything, starting from scratch to reroot, TWRP, reinstall all my apps etc?
I already have Odin installed and have downloaded the full ASL3 firmware package.
You don't have to lose everything - just flash ASL3 on top of ASK1, then install the rest of the mods (WETA kernel, TWRP, Magisk). In the downloaded zip of ASL3, you should have five files: mostly the same file names, except for the beginning few characters, similar to this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So the five images you'll most likely have are AP (the main system + boot.img), BL (bootloader, modem, other low level stuff), CP (other small tidbits), CSC (carrier-specific customizations, also contains country-specific stuff, basically the layer above system that makes the OS specific to a country, with apps, configurations for WiFi, 4G/5G, Bluetooth, and even things like Samsung Pay), and HOME_CSC (same as CSC, but doesn't flip the "wipe device" flag).
What you need to do is do the update via ODIN using the default files, then for the CSC field, select HOME_CSC instead of the regular CSC file. The only difference between the two is just this, HOME_CSC won't wipe the device, CSC will.
Same applies if you want to go back to complete stock, just flash the phone using ODIN, and use the regular CSC image instead of HOME_CSC.
Thank you for the detailed explanation of what to try and what all of the different parts of the big firmware packages are. I've had this Tab S6 just about a month now and have been doing my best to get used to how Samsung does things. Lots of reading various posts, lots of experimenting. I've gotten the basics down on flashing firmware using Odin, but don't yet have a solid grasp on what all is really going on. I've just been very carefully following directions, and praying to the Android/Samsung gods I don't end up with a brick when I hit "start." LOL So far so good!
I'll give it a go doing what you described. If it works, Yay! If not, no big deal and I'll start over from fresh/stock. I've grown used to that being "just the way it is" when you want to run modified/custom stuff. As long as I don't permanently brick the thing I do enjoy the experimenting and learning process.
Thanks again.

Well, it worked... sort of. The system booted and ran, but I started to get random reboots for no apparent reason. I wiped cache and such but nothing helped.
Ultimately I decided to completely wipe the tablet, flash back to stock, and then reroot and just reinstall everything "clean."
Did you apply TWRP and the WETA kernel again? If so, my gut is that the old kernel is not compatible with the updates. Just my thoughts, nothing to support this but an update should work. This is one of the reasons I am waiting till the updated TWRP is released with the new SL3 kernel.

Lg v60 All the time at edl Please help

hello I have a big problem I unlocked the bootloader, I did the root but something came up for me to do a crossflash to the eu version, unfortunately, cases I deleted all partitions in the phone and I can not program it in lgup now The phone was in qualcom9008 mode unfortunately it does not react to the keys for anything can it be programmed somehow? Please help
Once you have deleted all the partitions, the only way to restore your phone is by using Octopus.
The only way you can re-create the original partitions is by flashing the firmware in partition mode, Unfortunately, all the boot codes to get into download mode are gone in your phone. So it practically is brick. Octopus will revive it since it programs the code from the device.
Somebody help me please Put this phone to life
no one can help me
Sorry but we can only help when a solution is possible from us. I have already advised you the only feasible path to restore your phone is by using Octopus. Additionally, the partitions that you backed up are not enough to revive the phone. This is because you don’t have all the partitions that form the Android system. And second, you can not create and size the partitions yourself. Quite frankly, you are at a dead end unless Octopus is engaged.
At XDA, we always emphasize that be careful with what you are doing. If you are not sure then refrain from doing it.
Never try anything on your phone without properly making a full backup first. This should be a lesson. That's why you're advised to back up first.

deleted all partitions is bad if you dont have firehorse.
but, we have firehorse for LG V60, so it is easy to fix.
First, read in Guide thread, you will find the thing you need. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/lmv600am-restore-ugrade-guide.4396037/page-6#post-87327381
Second, understanding what you do.

yes.
damaged imei make phone permanently locked (no network), but you can dismiss that and using phone like wifi device and waiting for the imei fix method in the future.
I would be interested but eventually I sent the phone to the LG service so I think they will fix it there by uploading new software from scratch
