Hisense A6L: Is this rooting advice viable? (snapdragon 660, LTPS/E-Ink) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

For full device backups, firewall and possibly ROM testing, I'm seeking to root an Hisense A6L (LTPS/E-Ink dual screen phone) and/or to unlock its "vision" bootloader.
I've searched a LOT, found nothing but these boilerplate guides:
https://www.ayudaroot.com/root/hisense/como-hacer-root-al-hisense-a6l/ (MTKroot, spanish)
How to root any Hisense device using Magisk [No TWRP required] (Magisk)
How to Unlock Bootloader via Fastboot on any Android (Fastboot)
They are nearly identical to their respective guides for various other phone models.
I haven't rooted any phone in ages, so it's difficult for me to verify how trustworthy they are.
What do you experienced guys think, can I reasonably expect any of these procedures to work with the A6L?

Seems like someone is selling the rooting service on aliexpress for 30e. I haven't been able to verify the claim, but it comes from a trustworthy seller : https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005003909675879.html

[noob] need help with Chinese MTK based phone (E&L W5 or Kenxinda W5)

Hello,
I've bought a cheap (60 €) IP68 Chinese phone. It is sold as E&L W5 (ElongMobile). It is also known as Kenxinda W5 and declares itself as "Three Proofings W5".
This phone is based on Mediatek MT6735M SoC 64 bits Arm CPU. It runs a 6.01 Android version.
The bootloader is not locked (I've an option in developer's menu to unlock it).
The maker is not responding to my request for the standard Rom. (Kenxinda, nor E&L and I've tried to contact them in Chinese, thanks Google ).
I've tried to root it using all apk I could find or PC apps to no avail.
I can't either back-up the Rom whatever MTK tool I use (because some of them ask for a rooted phone and the others ask for a scatter file I can't find nor generate).
I I've looked at SuperSU ( http://www.supersu.com/ ) thinking I could install it using the recovery option of the phone. But it seems I'm too dumb because all I get is a message saying it is "an invalid OTA update missing scatter file"... ( the menu gives : recovery, fastboot or normal and I've tried "recovery"... ).
I would like to make a backup of the Rom in the phone, then modify the Rom to gain root access (or root the phone in another way ?) then install the "custom" Rom into the phone using SP flash tool.
I've read countless pages on a lot of sites, but I'm still stuck. So I would be very happy and grateful to get some pointer or how to for this 64bits CPU phones.
Many many thanks in advance for your help and advices.
I got the same phone and I'm looking for a root solution. I've seen that E&L made available a rooted ROM for W5S. I wonder if it would work on the W5 or brick it...
I'm also looking for a way to root this device. From some research it seems that it is equal to the Ginzzu rs71d, someone confirms?
EDIT: I finally rooted with Magisk and Miracle box loader

Rooting an rather unknown SPC Heaven 10.1 tablet running on Nougat (Android 7.0)

I'm planning to use a low-cost tablet for a wall mounted home automation display. For this use I have bought an rather unkown but very affordable tablet from SPC (Smart Products Connection) (Model Heaven 10.1) running on Android 7.0 with kernel-version 3.10.65. To unlock features I need for a wall mounted display (e.g. always on, controlling the charging of the battery to enhance battery lifetime, adjusting the tablet time automatically through my local network timeserver etc. etc.) I need the device unlocked. I followed the nice description in the Forum Hovatec (<https://>forum.hovatek.com/thread-1405.html) to get into custom recovery mode and make a stock boot image but I got stuck at the step where the tablet should boot into recovery since fastboot is not able to connect to the tablet. Thus I assume that I cannot unlock the bootloader of the device. The applications like King Root, KingoRoot and the like do not seem to find a software exploit to help out here either (most probably of the uncommon model I use) and OneClickroot wants to have a premium for unlocking it (the app claims that it can do it but I'm very reluctant to pay 30-50$ to unlock a tablet which I already have bought, to a very shady company...
So I hope that someone here has already experience with my tablet model and may help out with a description how to:
1.) Get to unlock the bootloader
2.) Get a stock boot image
3.) Unlock the device
4.) Or have a software exploit to unlock the tablet online

Huawei P20 Lite ANE-LX1 bootloader (yes, another one of those thread. Sorry !)

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if there are any ways to know if the Huawei P20 Lite has its bootloader unlocked or not without erasing all of its datas. I am looking for a way to root it without paying for its bootloader code, as I am unsure if these are scams or if my phone is already unlocked.
I bought it on amazon, it's not affiliated to any mobile company, so I thought maybe it's unlocked... Or are the mobile company lock different from the bootloader lock ? It's also from EU (France); ANE-LX1 (C109) model.
I am a complete neophyte into this, as the only other phone I ever root was a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which was a very easy task.
I saw guides on how to root it without its bootloader code but I have no idea which to trust. I don't ask for you to search for me; I have tabs and tabs opened but I am also anxious by the idea of trying anything that could lock it and force me to pay for its bootloader.
Thanks for your answers ! Have a good day ! (6:25 am when I'm writing this here ^^)
EDIT : Well the more I read about rooting it the more I'm thinking it's not for newcomers.. Any tips/easy guides ? Because I feel like every guides I found are assuming that you already know things.. Which I don't :c

Hello,
- "I am wondering if there are any ways to know if the Huawei P20 Lite has its bootloader unlocked or not" -
everytime the phone starts up, it goes to a screen saying: "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted..." (the most reliable method)
- "Or are the mobile company lock different from the bootloader lock ?" - yes, you can check SIM-lock status in "Project menu" - dial *#*#2846579#*#* from the phone dialer, select Network Information Query > SIM Lock Info
- "how to root it without its bootloader code but I have no idea which to trust." - best way to brick your phone
If you intend to unlock your bootloader , you have to downgrade to Oreo - EMUI 8.0 via HiSuite , then you must downgrade to lower build number with Google patch 04.2018-06.2018 . Now you can get bootloader unlock code for 4euros - DC-Unlocker.com or hcu-client.com.
Each bootloader code is permanent, it wont expire, you can use the same bootloader code to unlock if your bootloader will be lock again for some reason.
For further explanations try asking here.
Edit: you can use also paid service :

Question OPPO Find X3 - bootloader unlock & root, any chance?

I have ordered a new phone at a favorable price of $359. However, since it is two years old (on market), I am unsure if the bootloader can be unlocked in the future. It appears that the manufacturer has locked the bootloader, and there may be no way to unlock it without their assistance?
Root access may be necessary to remove ads with tools like AdAway or YT reVanced, and to enable features such as VOLTE or 5G, which may require some tweaking to get working. After the manufacturer support ends, I usually plan to flash a custom ROM on the device.
The phone I ordered is not as popular as the OnePlus Nord 2, which raises some concerns about the possibility of rooting it. What do you think? Is there a chance of successfully rooting this device?
