I received Telechips TCC8920 +Mali based Android box (Diyomate A6). It is not rooted and play store gives server error (I tried my best on whatever available on google). I googled and found nothing available for this chip/box. I reveived following ROM from manufatcturer.
Can someone make this rom pre-rooted with working google play store.
or
Modify some other best available rom suitable for 720p or 1080p TV display using hardware driver etc from this rom.
Also need sujestion for best available apps for streaming from internet and video player that can best work with this chip.

I also would like to have this rom rooted if anyone can make it. I tried it with android kitchen but no success.
ykhehra1, you have market errors because you have set up your box via LAN, right ? Install the firmware again but don't connect LAN. Set up the system with WLAN-connection. So you can add your gmail account in the settings and make the market work. If you have got this you can change again to LAN-connection. Account-sync is not possible with LAN but the market keeps working. Dunno why but for me it works.
Hope this can help you until somebody can root the firmware for us.
For streaming use MXplayer or better DicePlayer.

I bought a TV Box I Diyomate A6 with android 4.0, the box is amazing, but I having a problem with it, the device resets every 30 minutes, not matter if it is playing something or is stoped. Anyone more with this problem? Is there any configuration that I can do to fix this?

You connect over cable? Someone helped connect over wi-fi.
It´s not with SD card, the other funcions woks normally, wi-fi and even Google play. Youtube stops sometimes

drivers that served me using win7 is the PdaNetA4126.exe

from what I previously comment so WIFI is active already rooted the driver should disable the debugger.
the market is working well on my device
Your question you could do a factory reset, do not think it is necessary to be root, only go to about tablet, sytem update, install system update and leave the device resets

Ok, So i got the new updates from Google Wallet to the new Google Wallet and Android Pay.
When I attempted to setup Android Pay, I received the error that my device couldn't be "verified as being compatible."
A little browsing turned up some information that Android Pay doesn't like rooted devices, and even gave a couple of solutions.
1. Disable Superuser access if your Superuser app has the capability.
2. If option one isn't possible, then go back to stock, activate, and re-root.
This fix will NOT work for everyone, but since it is a simple setting change, it can't hurt to try this before looking into more 'drastic' measures. This will most likely only work on rooted stock ROMS.
I know that I use Chainfire's SuperSU app, and it has the ability to be disabled so the operator does not has superuser access until it is re-enabled. Simply go to your SuperSU app, go into the "Settings," and uncheck the "Enable Superuser." Different versions and other apps may be a little different, but principle should remain the same if it is an option.
After disabling SuperSU, open Android Pay and complete your initial setup. Once completed, return to the SuperSU app and re-enable Superuser access. The Android Pay app has continued working since then for me.

I would also imagine a otherwise stock ROM running a custom kernel wouldn't work either based on rbeavers' link.
Another note, I've integrated updated system apps and certain other apps into the system partition, so that probably won't matter if anyone is curious about that. (Could be different for other people though.)

Tried it didn't work for me "turned off " SU. My bank isn't on the "list". So that might be it?
Maybe? I didn't think Android Pay used the bank account, only Wallet does. Pay requires you to link your debit or credit card. Both apps automatically pulled my information, so I didn't have to dig into that very much.
Another thing my ROM is otherwise stock.
I've also read that Android Pay just doesn't like some ROMs, so users on custom or ported ROMs and a few devices in general are probably going to be left out in the cold... unfortunately.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge of the Android system can help us out here soon.

I'm new to Chinese phones and I recently purchased an Elephone P9000. Its great and have no real problems except I cannot get my banking app to work with NFC card payment as the app says my phone has been modified and it says that the kernel is @root however I have not rooted it nor have root access but it seems this is normal from other forums I have read.
Is there anyway to get my phone to say Unmodified so my NFC card payments will work?
Also, has my system been modified? When I first turned it on it did the normal setup of apps however it didn't run through the normal user setup, asking which country I live in and language I want etc. even after OTA updates and factory reset. It also says custom build version. I have attached a screenshot of my about device.
If this phone has been modified, can I and how do I get my phone back to stock.

The kernel string says @root because it was built either by the root user of the compile machine or because the machine name was root.
This has nothing to do with the Android OS being rooted.

Possibly the people behind your banking app don't realise that a kernel string of @root doesn't mean the device is rooted. There are lots of misconceptions about what root is and unfortunately it appears the app maker(s) have fallen for one of them.
If you would be willing to root Your device, it might be possible to solve Your issue by using XPosed and the modules/App devicefaker and Rootcloak. That's the way I was able to use boon (its a prepaid NFC Payment App, available in some European countries)

That doesn't make any sense. I'm on the latest stock ota upgrade and my phone is fine. Not going to say which banking app I use but it's still working fine without without root. But some makes are more strict about this sort of thing.
Is there anything I can do about this?

- Don't forget to hide Magisk in the Options and Google Play Services, Google Play Store, Google Pay and all banking/game apps in the Magisk Hide menu.
- You should know that all Samsung services (Pay, Pass, Secure Folder, etc.) related to KNOX will never work after rooting (= KNOX tripped)...

At least Secure Folder is working fine. Knox deployment is behaving weirdly as it is asking a two pass authentication and it is asking a numerical code when I receive an alphanumerical code... ^^
I don't use Samsung Pay (should at least work with Android Pay but I didn't test it) and I don't use Samsung Pass either but I don't think there should be a real problem as it was asking me to set it up but I removed totally from the system...

actually for me safety net fix only works for android 11 version rom of this device, and even then secure folder doesnt work correctly (for me?), it doesnt save the password, and keep poping up asking to set a password whenever I tried to enter it. The device itself become unstable and keep hot rebooting after every unlock, eventually get thermal throttled for no reason. Though the safety net solution I used was this one: kdrag0n/safetynet-fix , and prob not the one you listed actually its the same developer, though his repository does not contain a v2 release. I still gona try it though
edit: working now, not hot rebooting (yet), but secure folder still doesnt save password, thus cant still be used yet

the safetynet fix worked on my device when the rom is still on android 10. That is to say, it passed the safetynet test. It was extremely unstable though, hot rebooting after every unlock (unlock, black screen samsung, then back to lock screen) I couldn't get into magisk and disable it, had to delete it through twrp. It was until android 11 that I tried it again. not extremely unstable, just "useable unstable". That was the release file on kdrag0n's repository. Your uploaded v2 file works amazingly. I just want to share my experience about the same device with (prob) the same safety net fix that works on yours, but not my device.
yes, with your safety net fix my tab runs absolutely stable, and I've just tried uninstall secure folder and reinstall it again. Its working perfectly now
I have recently rooted my S21, and it works perfectly except for apps such as Paypal having issues around the use of fingerprints.
I can unlock the phone with fingerprints, but every app with the ability to read fingerprints fails. Is this happening for anyone else, and does anyone have any tips?

some app can hack this, but its ilegal AFAIK
also netflix and similar apps might not work well or at all for you
I seem to have fixed the issue. I traced it down to being related to the safety-net magisk module I had flashed. It turns out there seem to be known issues with it, and have been resolved in a test release (version 2.0 I believe)
Pisaman2 where did you get ver 2.0 from plz. Also did you have to use magisk props to change fingerprint like before? Or can you just install ver 2.0 and it will work without issues.
