Im not sure if you need to be beta tester
as i dont even have my xiaomi account on my device
Did you instal via twrp ?
Full wipe is needed also...

What's wrong with these cameras?
12t pro and K50 ultra have the same code name (DITING) but different roms for the cameras.
All that is CN concerns the K50, the rest the 12t pro.
Just the code name is common to the 2 phones.
The only common and functional rom is the Xiaomi EU rom

This one is working and fully fonctionnal on xiaomi 12t pro....
trust if you want...
xiaomi 12t pro eu rom is SLFEUXM
SLF and EU mean europe

Of course it works since this rom is intended for the 12t pro.
K50 ultra is only for Chinese market.

Are you talking about a rom pilot version for the 12t pro and?
As said above, the only current common rom with functional camera for the 12t pro and k50 ultra is the Xiaomi Eu rom (custom rom).
The stocks are not made for both devices, but have a specific rom because of the camera.
Btw"SLF and EU mean europe"mean for Europe(EEA).

I am already on weekly eu with 200MP camera working. I wonder if I go to eu stable, shall I stay with 200MP after dirty flash? My only concern is that this stable is based on CN ROM.

I'm not forcing anyone, but those who have a k50 ultra will have a multilingual rom and the call recorder and lots of other options absent or limited on stock roms and a functional camera, the same for the 12t pro.
For the clean flash, register on the Xiaomi EU rom site and tell the developers that they are wrong.

Can this rom be downloaded on miui 12.0.3?
Good job. Will try this.
I just flashed this ROM on my redmi note 9 merlin. This ROM works perfectly fine but, it has some bugs that I have noticed the first one being that the screen resolution should be 1080x2340 pixels but it is 1080x2196 pixels. The second one is once we connect it to a laptop or a pc the options are completely grayed out, we have to select it in developer options. And I don't see an option for face unlock in the settings is it hidden or is it even there? Other then that the ROM works perfectly fine, extremely smooth, has better battery life than MIUI. I would give it a 8 out of 10. If the devs can fix the bugs listed above this would be my daily driver. The best part is that it shows that the device is certified in play store.
Edit: after using this ROM for a day. This UI is starting to lag. Hopefully it will be fixed.

So far the only issue that I found is that the backups are not working, you can backup data to your google account, but you CAN'T restore data.
EDIT: The problem that I am having is that this is not in the rom, i can't restore my backup from google, you can use other apps and methods to restore your data though.

I successfully restored apps from google backup on my account, also used Migrate flasher and helper for the data. Only problems I ran into were flashing GApps, didn't work for me. Kept saying there was insufficient system storage when I flashed full, just let it run and installed gboard manually then set up phone

Aaah yes, I flashed core fine but felt the need to mess about with it lol. Ended up flashing part of stock, just the issue is it tries to replace AOSP keyboard with gboard but it doesn't install gboard from the flash, so you have to skip the set-up, move gboard to your phone, install and then you can set-up

I've tried all of them minus RR and Ancient and my favourite is CRDroid, good customisation while remaining stock-like. Second is probably project Sakura, third is ArrowOS if BT audio gets fixed, fourth is Pixel Experience and last is Lineage. Lineage had pretty bad stability on snapchat and overall I find CRDroid the best.

Using Note 9 Pro's ROMs on Redmi Note 10 Lite ?

Hi, I was wondering if running the Note 9 Pro's ROMs/Recoveries on the Redmi (Not "Mi") Note 10 Lite would be possible ? It seems to be yet another rebrand of the 720G phones and is code-named "curtana" aswell: https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=11137&idPhone2=10120
Comes with MIUI 12.0.2 (QJWINRF) out of the box, but runs android 10.
Thanks!
Hey, I was thinking the same as well. Did you find if you could?

@Gregnoahheartman No I haven't tried flashing anything yet to avoid bricks, It's being discussed in a telegram group though: https://t.me/redminote10litediscussion
Installed lineage (https://download.lineageos.org/miatoll), works great (Wifi, mobile data, calls), shows up as a 9 Pro:

Widevine L1 doesn't work though, if you care about that:
Didn't have to flash anything extra, original android 10 firmware works fine. Just unlock bootloader, flash orangefox, format (not wipe) data, flash lineage and reboot.

Oh THANKS for confirming!! Can you also tell if VoLTE and Vo-WiFi are working?
To see if volte is working, you could try https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/153#issuecomment-550342519
Additionally, in interest of helping the Note 10 Lite community, could you list a brief summary of steps you followed to install lineage?
If i am not mistaken, you should have -
1. Linked a mi account, unlocked bootloader
2. (Optionally) flashed a custom recovery(if you did this, then which one), made a backup
3. Flashed lineage?
Tell me if i missed something.
Oh, and this phone doesnt support AVB v2 does it? ( flashing avb_custom_key - verified boot with custom signature) see https://forum.fairphone.com/t/does-fp4-have-secure-boot-or-verified-boot-yes/76686/12 for more info.
VoLTE seems to work (Checked signal name in call)

Don't you mean Android 11?
No I meant to say that the default MIUI 12.0.2.0 (Android 10) firmware works fine with Lineage OS (Android 11) so I didn't need to grab the newer firmware from Android 11 MIUIs for curtana.
btw you should use lineage recovery (https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/miatoll/install) instead of orangefox so you can easily update since internal storage is not accessible from recovery in the case of lineage.

Hi, thank you for this thread. I had just bought the Redmi Note 10 Lite and was wondering if it was the same as Redmi Note 9 Pro. Does this confirm that they are in fact the same? Does it mean that I can flash the latest ROM of Redmi Note 9 Pro on my Redmi Note 10 Lite? I don't want to go for custom OS as of now for the device. Any help would be much appreciated.
I have the same question. Will it work? Has anyone tried?

Hi, I was wondering if running the Note 9 Pro's ROMs/Recoveries on the Redmi (Not "Mi") Note 10 Lite would be possible ? It seems to be yet another rebrand of the 720G phones and is code-named "curtana" aswell: https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=11137&idPhone2=10120
Comes with MIUI 12.0.2 (QJWINRF) out of the box, but runs android 10.
Thanks!

No or little development for Xiaomi with Mediatek processors.
Why?
Xiaomi has started equipping models with soc mediatek for the Indian market.
To have the source code for the development you have to pay a license to Mediatek for each model and then pay teams of developers, which would have increased the price of these phones in India and would not have been profitable.
(he was also banned in 2014 from selling xiaomi to soc mediatek in India).
However, some Mediatek devices have custom roms.
Following problems Xiaomi had to buy the source code to modify the devices concerned accordingly.

I made a huge mistake by buying this mediatek device

You should start researching more before buying a new device.
Even I'm a sucker for custom roms, and I fully knew what mess was I landing on when I bought this mediatek device. Bought this phone only bcz got this for $85 which is a steal for such features.
However, as much as I hate miui, I'm yet to find any bugs.

The question is not if its working on note 11s 4G cause its a gsi, the question is how many issues it have.
I stay on android 11 stock rom and wait for android 12. Also android 13 is coming to Note 11s 4G.
Have you tried the global MIUI version of android 12 (fleur_global_images_V13.0.7.0.SKEMIXM) ?

It's HIGHLY recomennded to use A11 Vendor like V13.0.10.0.RKEMIXM (for global). cause on A12 Vendor you have
1. Non fixable call issues. 2. Very ugly overlay issues etc....
With A11 as Baserom, GSI Roms worked very well
greez
Good to know.
