Looking for someone who has AT&T services

I got this tablet/phone as a trade in for my ipad 3. anyways I have been using it as my tablet for some time now and since I am on t-mobile I can't really use this phone unless is unlocked. I have tried multiple sites for unlocking, cheap and expensive alike and none have worked so far. Was wondering if there was someone in the forums with AT&T services willing to unlock this phone for me? send me a PM if you can.
Thanks.

Does the Verizon Moto E have root and roms?

Just bought the Verizon moto e at best buy and have it working on t mobile but want to install custom roms.
Sadly it does not. Just bought mine today as a secondary device.
I am just hoping that someone can do something to unlock that bootloader (could the stagefright vulnerability be used to do some things since it does have some root capabilities?) or at least get the device loki'd.

i bought it for the same reason at best buy to uses as a backup for myself or a friend of family member. Just like you i was curious about rooting and custom roms for it. Sadly i found out by trying to follow the tutorial to unlock the bootloader and when i went to Motorola website for the unlock code it said my device couldn't be unlocked :crying:
Before i picked up the Moto e i seen on XDA the Verizon variant could be used on any service so i didn't even think twice to see if it was unlock-able before trying.
Just now wile typing this it actually got me thinking and the thought of the Verizon variant being able to be used on. got me wondering.
Under the hood of the Verizon Moto e is the hardware exactly the same as the other variants or are there more radios for the Verizon network? I ask this because if its the same would there be someway to install the international variant bootloader on the Verizon variant and then unlock it?
if that sounds very stupid im sorry lol. I don't know very much about unlocking devices besides how to follow tutorials of how to unlock a device. But i do know how to flash and install things im kind of a flashaholic thats one reason i looked to unlock this device right away
Verizon as is already annoys me by how there devices have locked bootlaoders thankfully someone found a workaround for the G3, but seeing how this is a prepaid device that customers pay in full for i don't see why they have to lock it down...
$9.99 from bestbuy, it's the best budget phone. I made it work under t-mobile.

Can't overwrite the bootloader since it is locked, the partition is locked to read. However, I was thinking, since it has that 5.1 update, it must've written to the system partition and which case I wonder if a fake update of some kind be used. Kingoroot also somehow can mount and write to the system partition through their rooting process, if someone can figure how it does that, there is hope for this version.
There is also the possibility of someone developing loki for this phone too, which would bring at least some custom action to this.
Verizon does some weird things, both it and AT&T, I just don't understand them. AT&T locks down the device and sometimes they even get updates that were released for the phone. Verizon declines other phones which people want. Anyways, we only paid $10 for phone, couldn't say no to that, right? Unlocked SIM and if they do find a workaround, just cherry on top of the icing.

+1 - cant beat the price.
With so many of these out there now, I think its only a matter of time until someone figures out the bootloader and rom questions.

I hope so, would really suck to stay on 5.1 and miss out on any security updates, etc.
But from the looks of scanning through part of the forum, no seems to be taking on the task of figuring out a way to do so. The one guy that was trying had school that took over his time and then there are no other threads about it.
Yeah, I hope that you are right that all these new devices out there will spark something.

XT830C - Tracfone, CDMA: Is there ANY way to get this phone rooted ?!?

Lately there are many offerings of this device for around $20.
For that price, my very good friend who is a Tracfone user bought one & is glad he did, except that it is all filled up with the usual bloatware junk & I am trying to help him with it.
Spent all day today searching here & other places, but pretty much everything points to the bootloader unlocker at the maker's site...
It is the XT830C with 4.4.4 and is not eligible for the bootloader unlock from the maker.
Checking at the Lenovo/Motorola site confirms this - because it is a Tracfone.
Apparently there are some 3rd party sites which claim to get around this, but from what I can find they are not legit or trustworthy & all are wanting payments.
Just to see if I could even gain temp root I tried every tool that I've got and none worked.
This surprises me as I had helped with another Moto E before (Suria vs. Condor) and was able to flash it to a different ROM to gain root - but this one seems a dead end thus far.
Is there any pointers, tricks or anything that might help me to get this done, please ??
Thanks.

How to unlock Bootloader for XT2075-2? (Motorola One 5G Cricket Wireless)

I have looked everywhere and even tried the motorola official site. Is there absolutely NO WAY to unlock this phone? I would love to give LineageOS a try on this phone as it's a bit outdated. However, I have spent countless hours trying to figure out a way to brute force it to unlock the bootloader. I don't understand why you can do it easily on other models but not on this one? It even shows support for LinageOS on the official website. So I'm super confused.
Has anyone found a way to actually unlock or install any custom roms on this particular phone? Any help would be great. I already tried the official motorola website and it saids it's not supported. Which I think is just a bunch of **** and a money grab honestly.
Doh I just realized this may have been better in the ROM forum. LOL oh well the question still applies.
Motorola Unlocker should be usable by a lot of new devices: https://en-us.support.motorola.com/...e-supported-by-the-bootloader-unlock-program?
Check if your phone supports it.

Hey thanks for responding.
I already tried this on the official website (the link you provided) and it said it couldn't be unlocked or it's not supported. I find that hard to believe and honestly think it's a cheap way to just force us to buy new phones. This is why I was asking here if there are any other possible methods to unlock the bootloader for the XT2075-2 Moto One 5G from Cricket Wireless.
Darn guess not What a shame.
Hello I have the same phone and as I was told the problem is that cricket and atyt phones do not allow the unlocking of the bootloader

How do I use my cricket services in my lgv600 carrier locked Verizon?

Please someone help me with this. I got my phone from a friend who is with Verizon. He has not used this lgv600 in a while. And gave it to me. He's up to date with his bill.its over the 6 month mark. But for some reason will not unlock this phone from verizon carrier so that I can use my cricket services with it. Can someone help me . I've read all over everywhere and have only found that there is not a firmware to crossflash what ever it is for this carrier. If there is. Can you please send it my way and tell me how. I also don't want to lose money paying someone who can't. Or gives me something that's going to mess it up in any way. Also after I do get it. Will it be updated or will I need to do that afterwards? I have been searching a few years now for this. I love the phone. It's my favorite. I just wish to use it with my cricket services. Thank you for anyone who helps.
