Question BUG - 'Choose Input Method' notification icon not disappearing - Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The 'Choose Input Method' notification that appears whenever the keyboard pops up does not respect the setting that toggles (Keyboard button on navigation bar), no matter how this is set, the icon always appears.
I have the S22 Ultra on OneUI 5.0, and with all the same apps and settings the icon does not appear. Only on the S23 does it appear even after turning it off in the settings

Works for some but not all. Try using Triangle Away if Wanam doesn't work.
well this is useful thanks
I was going to flash another ROM but I figured I'd give e exposed a try. With all the modules available I can get almost everything I want without even changing from the stock ROM. Gets a little confusing with all the different settings but fun and works great for me. Jesse

All great modules from xposed installer.

Holy crap man, this is so old news...
The Wanam Xposed ROM isn't even supported by the developer for it anymore! That's how old this is...
Every Touchwiz user with xposed uses Wanam.
You're getting some hate for this being old news but I think this is a well written post that is certainly useful to those members around here that are new and inexperienced with xposed. Good write-up man.
Working tether Verizon s4 on NC5
Hey All,
I'm sure other's already know this, but i couldn't find a working method in the threads to enable wireless tethering for my wife's Verizon S4 (NC5, rooted / stock / Deodexed).
I installed the Xposed framework installer,rebooted.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053
Then in downloads section, downloaded the "X Tether" module by dymmeh.
I installed, in modules section-activated, rebooted... and bingo!!
Please thank dymmeh, rovo89, and Tungstwenty, and the Xposed team if this helps!!!

This is not working. on Verizon Note 3, 4.4.2 NC2, and the persistent data icon is always on.
Wanam isn't disabling it. Wanam also thinks it is disabled, because wanam shows it on or off as I mark it.
Any idea how I can remove the persistent 4GLTE icon?

Ok. By the way, I figured out how to solve it. Here is the code that works.
Code:
public class DataConnectionIconFix implements IXposedHookLoadPackage {
@Override
public void handleLoadPackage(LoadPackageParam lpparam) throws Throwable {
if(!lpparam.packageName.equals("com.android.systemui"))
return;
Class<?> NetworkController = findClass("com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy.NetworkController", lpparam.classLoader);
Class<?> Operator = null;
for(Class<?> c : NetworkController.getDeclaredClasses())
if(c.getSimpleName().equals("Operator"))
Operator = c;
findAndHookMethod(Operator, "getOperatorFromString", java.lang.String.class, XC_MethodReplacement.returnConstant(getStaticObjectField(Operator, "OPEN")));
}
}

[Q] How to get heads up notifications work in in 6.0.1

I'm on a Nexus 5, running 6.0.1 + gravity box (magisk for all modifications) (but haven't touched notification settings)
No app is showing heads up notifications. I'm mainly aiming to get them working for
1. ChompSMS
2. QKSMS (switching to eventually)
3. K9 Mail
4. Xiialive
All of them show notification icons, but no app shows heads up notifications.
Any idea what I can do/try? Peeking is enabled for all of them.
(The only change I made in gravity box was adding reboot to the power menu, added cursor buttons to the nav bar, made long pressing recents kill the active app, and added percentage text to the battery indicator. Nothing at all related to notifications)
It doesn't matter to me if the solution requires root or not.

Lock screen notifications and drop down menu problem

I have a problem with my Huawei mate 10 pro, when the screen is looked I can only see the time, date and the background theme for sure. But I can't see any notifications and I can't even see the drop down menu "notification bar" which includes wifi, Bluetooth.. etc. When I swipe down it asks me to enter my password instead of getting drop down menu settings. It is really annoying. I tried everything in the settings, I changed everything to "display all notifications" in Settings -> apps & notifications -> notifications management -> each app to enable and in top right menu "display all notifications". I thought it is always like this for huawei phones but my friend has mate 10 and he can see the notifications bar and his all notifications while the screen is locked. So any help please how to solve this problem! I want to see the notifications and the drop down menu "notification bar"

Several requests

I'm running Nougat crDroid with Magisk & TWRP for reference.
Are there things that let me:
Automize Notifications(i.e. dismiss 'Google Play has installed x' notifications after 5 seconds)
Let me swipe away any notification there is
Enable a very slight palm rejection at the edge of the phone(disable every 3rd pixel on the edge from input, for e.g.)
Have systemwide Vibration control(a list of all vibration strengths/patterns for each thing)
Have a Notification Center(similar to iOS, a place to 'store' all your notifications, but an app for e.g.)
Customize the Network & WiFi Statusbar/Shade icons(I don't like how turning off celullar data makes an 'X' appear, for e.g.)
Customize my Statusbar
Have a full screen notification shade(the notification shade isn't fullscreen in landscape)
Have a statusbar at the bottom
Control how the power button locks the phone(I'd prefer to have it lock 2 minutes after turning it off, rather than instantly, but still go to the lock screen.)
Control animations systemwide(turn off/change speed of particular animations)
Have my battery bar below the statusbar
Always have a black Status Bar
Have better control over auto-rotate
Remove the scroll bounce/reflection
Customize the Lock Screen
Customize the Notification Shade
Make the Notification Shade(and notifications in general) more compact
Have better control over when quick settings and the whole notification shade appear when swiping down
Customize CPU clocks and enabled cores using profiles(like SetCPU)
And if there are any other things I can use to customize, or any app lists please tell me(preferably not Xposed).
i haven't read all of your needs nut im pretty much sure that you can find good hope in Tasker

Android 10 update, Now I have a blank bar below keyboard, how to get rid of it??

Hi in settings go to screen->navigation bar -> and uncheck "show hiding keyboard button" sorry for my English I'm for from Poland and I'm not sure if I translated this correctly ?
For those who had the same question here is your answer: Settings> Display > Navigation Bar> show button hide keyboard button .
