Question Recieved S23 Ultra, but didn't get a return box for s22 Ultra - Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Im still doing the setup on the S23U and when I recieved the phone I didn't receive the return box for the S22U trade in. Is this normal. When I received my last 22U they sent a return label and box to send the phone to Tmobile.
So far, its so good. I do like the feel of the new phone, its easier to hold and its not as curved on the sides

Where did you order it from? Samsung website?

In Canada, I received an email with the return label to print. Shipped it back in the box they shipped my s23 in (still had my original s21 box to put the phone in)

I tried to order from Samsung, but had to many issues, so I ordered from T-Mobile.

Yep that's how it was with my s21 ultra when I upgraded to the s22 in the USA. Took a while for them to send the email too

Well I guessing TMobile is different. If you order from Samsung you put the phone in the box the new phone came in and they have shipping label info on the Samsung Shop App in notifications. Guess you need to call T-Mobile and get instructions for how they do it.

You should get an email form Samsung with the return shipping label attached. They want you to send in your trade-in using the same box the new one came in.

It's different here in Ireland, we get a second letter sent out a few days to a few weeks later with all the stuff to send the old S22 back in, in 2020 in the height of the pandemic I had both phones for 6 months lol

On chat a Samsung rep said that the trade-in instructions are provided 15 days after receipt of the S23U. That is when the return privilege expires in the US

I'm curious about this as well. I'm in Canada and the only box I got was the box that my s23 ultra came in. I'm not talking about the s23 ultra box that had the device sealed in.

Germany's side:
9th of February: received the S23 Ultra
10th of February: trade-in email (label + instructions)
11th of February: posted my S22 Ultra within the cardboard box in which the S23 Ultra came with the return label on it (I packed the S22 Ultra in its original box with its original accessories)
15th of February: phone checked and validated by the trade-in services
First time I was trying Samsung's trade-in process, and I must admit it was great.

I sent my traded phone in the box they sent me the S23 ultra (the big one, not the phone's box), and they've received it already. I asked them and they told me they don't provide boxes/envelopes, only the tracking 'stamp'/code

FYI: Clove have stock of White 920

Just for anyone looking for sim free stock in the UK, I just got an email from clove saying they are getting some white 920 in tomorrow and their site says £520 inc vat. I'd imagine they'll go quick so get over there if you want one.
I caved and picked one up at the weekend on contract in black and it's an awesome phone. Had a look at white, but actually think black looks classier with the matt finish and also feels nicer to hold than the gloss white. The white still looks very nice though in the flesh - I was very tempted!

I've ordered phones from Clove in the past and they have arrived in new condition. I don't think you are going to have a bad experience with them.

We might be eligible to get a free wireless charger from Nokia, Clove are looking into that atm.
If Im not unlucky, I should have it in my hands thursday or friday, as the phones arrive today after FedEx has made their pickup and thus will be sent out tomorrow.
I figuratively cannot wait!

What time did you order it? Just trying to figure out how likely I am to get mine and I can't find any way of checking the order online

I ordered mine around 8pm (Norwegian time) yesterday, got this email at 11.16am today:
"Many thanks for the information. Your order will now be progressed. When we send your order you will receive your tracking reference by email. We are expecting our machines today, however, probably not in time for Fedex, so your order will be shipped Wednesday for delivery within 1-2 working days."
A user on a norwegian discussionboard ordered as well around the time I ordered, and his just changed to SHIPPING about 15 minutes ago, delivery via DHL.
Im expecting it in-hand by thursday/friday.

Would it be possible for someone who's ordered from clove be able to confirm the device is factory unlocked please? I'm on an O2 contract, and very tempted to get myself a 920 factory unlocked/sim free, provided it will accept my o2 sim card, unlike the "sim free but locked to EE" devices that phones4u are selling. I know Clove are stating that their devices are factory unlocked, but it'd be nice if this could be confirmed.

A guy on a norwegian smartphone forum got his today, its unlocked.
Also, I have an email from Clove confirming that they are in fact unlocked and will work with my operator here in Norway, which would mean its fully unlocked indeed.

I got mine yesterday too. I am on Giffgaff, which uses the o2 network, which works fine!

Deliveries delayed by 1 week

PhoneArena has reported that pre-ordered Note 10+ deliveries are being pushed back by one week. I went to check Samsung web page and it's true. Only the black Note is still on schedule for 23rd. I'm hoping that this is simply a demand-supply situation and those of us who have made the early bird reservations will get the phones as promised on 23rd. My pre-order email confirmation says 23rd no updates from Samsung whatsoever.

This is for people that just pre-ordering at the moment. If you pre-ordered early as you mentioned, then you should be fine. I remember when I pre-ordered S10, the story was the same, but since I ordered early, it arrived 2 days prior to the promised date. If I remember the date correctly, it was March 8 when the phone would be delivered, but Samsung shipped it on Monday, March 4th and I got it on the 6th. I am hoping for the same story with Note 10, where Samsung would ship the phones on the 19th and I would get it by 21st
That's right, I remember the hype related to S10, I was ordering, canceling and reordering again. Went from S10+ to S10(returned, couldn't stand the fp sensor) and settled down w/ S10e, great phone - just little bit to small for reading ebooks. Ended up getting it very late because of that. They(marketing people) know how to make people go crazy
Mine still says Aug 23rd. Hoping for an earlier arrival! I've been tempted to call Samsung to see if they could switch my phone order for another color, but have been nervous about screwing anything up and it gets here late.

Even if you call, Samsung may not do it and will tell you to "cancel and reorder". I wanted to make a simple change to my S10 pre-order back in March, but the rep told me the above
I pre-ordered mine from T-Mobile, Aura Glow 256gb Note10+ right when pre-orders opened. Still says estimated shipping is Aug 23. BTW why isn't there a mega thread for US models like there are for UK, Canada, etc?
Such an "Apple" thing to do. Hold back stock, then report there is such demand that devices are delayed in shipping. UGH

I ordered from Clove on Tuesday. They've not sent it yet despite now saying in stock. I went to Amazon and phone getting delivered today. I have emailed Clove to cancel pre order but they've not replied yet.

Just to let you know, I called Clove today and they said that there's a problem with the distributor in the UK.
According to clove the distributor upgraded their software system and messed it up so the stock is stuck in their warehouse.
Apparently clove offered to go and collect it but the distributor said they would still need to mark the inventory as having gone out which they are struggling to do...
They are hoping for the phones to get sent out later in the week
I've got the refund from them now. In the end though I am returning the phone to Amazon, mainly due to the side buttons. I don't like them!
Two week delay on mine. Got an e-mail from Sony offering me a free 'cover' due to the delay. I'm in two minds to take them up on the offer.

Well I've been using the mk3 for a bit next to my s21 ultra and one of them need to go back under the 14 day cooling period lol just don't know which one to keep
Must admit the mk3 display is great but not very bright compared to the s21 ultra even just playing hdr videos indoors
Cameras are both good (s21 ultra is amazing with zoom though)
Battery life seems better on the s21 ultra (even though I have the exynos variant)
Just something about the Sony in the hand and the software just feels better

Good news, they beat the two week delay by three days. Going to retire my Poco F1. It served me well up until I broke the screen. It's still my alarm clock. I'm waiting on an update about my headphones from the shippers, I chased them up today and they are still looking into it. If I don't get anything satisfactory from them within a week, I'll calling Sony. The free cover with stand is out of stock but I think I'll pass on that.

Amazon had a few units ship direct from Sony. Everyone else was waiting on the distributor (either Exertis or Ingram Micro, not sure which) due to their IT system ****up which was spectacular. Clove were more patient than I would have been but I guess every wholesaler was in the same boat. A singularly unimpressive start to this phone launch, with stony silence from Sony UK. I received my unit from Clove last Saturday.

That's not bad for a near 4 year old phone. Have a N10+ and Telus would only quote about $200 for mint condition, when even the s22U was first released.
Freedom "saves" around $647 on "trade up" and it looks like pretty much every mobile shop here rips people off for trade in value, even if you keep a 2 year upgrade cycle (Samsung appears to be much better in this regard, even for older devices).

You got hosed. Spending $1000 to more to upgrade to a minimal difference phone. Samsung probably offered you $600 lol
I also ordered the 512G version in Blue. They gave me $800 for my old Note S20 Ultra 5G.
I just cancelled my order. The $859 CDN trade-in for my S22 Ultra 1TB is way too low.
Update: Cancelled my cancellation. Irrational trumps rational once again.

Same. I was actually pretty impress with the trade in offer for a 2 plus year old phone. By the way did you try looking up your expected delivery date? Weirdly says starts shipping on 17th March. Do you reckon that's a glitch? I did order bunch of accessories for the phone. Does that have anything to do with that?

Mine still says shipping from Feb 8 but if you selected one of the online exclusive colors I had noticed some shipping dates were later. And I remember when I preordered my s21 ultra it shipped a few days later because they were waiting on one of the accessories.
Do a live chat with them they should be able to tell you which item is causing the delay and if it's an accessory you can most likely ask them to remove it from the order.
I saw if you ordered one of the specialty colors it said it would ship in 5-6 weeks. I didn't notice it when I ordered and I did order a specialty color.

Yeah turns out it was the exclusive color as well some accessories. I am trying to reconnect to live chat but the waiting times are hella long. Hopefully i can cancel the order and go for the cream color instead.

The shipping dates are just approximate. Most just say February 17th because that's when you officially can buy one from a retail store. From my experience with the S20U and S22U the Unlocked models usually come 2-3 days earlier than when stores get them. Carrier Phones arrive even sooner as they get priority over Unlocked models. So take those delivery dates with a grain of salt as they are just estimates which are always later than when you actually will get them.
Here is something even weirder for this year. On the past two phones I ordered from Samsung they would bill me when I placed the order to make sure the funds were available. It would say pending and then after 2 to 3 days it would drop off my credit card and I would get the funds back and Samsung wouldn't bill me again till it shipped. Well that happened again this year and I got the funds back. But today it actually cleared pending and dates yesterday as a past and cleared purchase which I even got the 1.5% cashback on. They never give me the Cashback until the sale is actually completed So that most likely means I'll be getting a notification soon that it shipped. Could Sammy be shipping earlier this year?

Okay so i am talking to an agent right now and he recommended the same thing to not cancel the order. It might just arrive earlier than anticipated. What i am worried about is the two accessories that i ordered (screen guard and a silicon case), those two clearly has pre-order emblem on them and the agent did confirm i would get everything in a single package so little bit skeptical but lets hope for the best.

Just have patience you will get it eventually. If you cancel your just going to have to wait even longer especially if they ran out of the first batch of stock which would push new order dates back to late March. Seen that happen before and peeps always regret their impatience.

General UK Pre Orders - Galaxy S23 Ultra

Used a referral code to get 10% off to bring it down to £944 and then some weird hack of adding a £34 USB flash drive brought the price down instead of up. Ended up coming to £850. Also went via topcashback and an extra £43 quid has tracked. All in all £807. Not bad!
Phantom Black Ultra, 512gb, £410 trade in for my S21 Ultra and £150 discount for another reason i'm not sure of also £42 via topcashback, so total cost of device £797, Not too shabby for the Ultra delivery on 13th hopefully. Edit: £15 topcashback bonus as first purchase over 15 quid, so device total is now £782

The £150 was to give us the 512GB for the same price as the 256GB variant.
I went for the Watch 5 Pro as the 10% additional discount, refferal code and £100 trade in for any smart watch in any condition made for massive savings

Any one noticed that prices droped ? I bought mine s23u on 1st feb at 8pm and price for s23u 1tb was 1599f and today i see price for the same phone is 1399f They sent to me an email that if i find same phone cheaper, they will refound me difference. Those shipping dates are almost always BS. They are estimates and you will usually get your phone before those estimates. But if you cancel thinking your gonna get it earlier your just going to the back of the line and then all bets are off.
Out of interest, I added the flash drive to get a further discount. What happens if you try to return just the flash drive? Do you have to pay them money lol?

Yes, they've dropped price for 1tb model to £200 from £100. Not sure if also added %10 off total order price if additional, whatever, item purchased
Ordered a 1TB Graphite. Mine said delivery from 10th but some are saying 7th now. Order still says processing and cancel button still there
