How do I gather a detailed call log to investigate calling issues on a Pro1-X using LineageOS? - F(x)tec Pro1-X Questions & Answers

A developer asked for a call log to investigate calling issues (specifically, the person I'm calling can't hear me although using another program like Whatsapp works, so the microphone works). I have the latest 20230209 build and it's rooted.

Can't seem to recieve calls with the built in sip for gingerbread.

I put a post up for this and it seems like no one replied. So I am wondering if anyone would be able to help me with this. I have it setup with sipbri it allows me to have my google voice account on sipbri and it lets me make calls but anytime I try to call all I get is my voice mail after it rings so many times. Am I doing something wrong or is it that the recieving calls part doesn't work right on Inferior Human Organs Cyanogen Mod 7.1?
Anybody? Well I actually got it working not sure what the issue was. I have a different rom it is CM7.1.0.1-VM670-BobZhome-111311 and it appears to be working fine. I just had to make a call on the internet call then after that I tried to call the number and I recieved it each time I called it. Seems like I have little to no delay either as people I talk to respond to me fine and can understand me fine.

[CM7 A3] Anyone gotten GrooveIP to work?

I've been running Alpha 3 of CM7 on my touchpad for the past few weeks. All in all I'm a fan and have been using it as my primary OS for the touchpad.
Getting GrooveIP to work would be the coup de grace for me as being able to take and place phone calls on it has been the one thing missing. Running Groove IP I can hear the other side for a second or two and then it just goes quiet. People on the other end say that can't hear anything from me.
Just curious if others have figured out a way around this (or if I've been an idiot). A search wasn't helpful.
No probs here
anything in particular with how you have it setup? are you using echo cancellation?
Figured out how to keep hearing audio from the other end.
Go to Settings --> Troubleshooting --> "Wifi Tablet", and make sure it's checked. Also make sure "Synchronize Voice" is checked.
still working on getting the mic to work
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/7576-call-text-on-touchpad-with-google-voice/
apparently the mic not working is a known issue still.
dj4enzik, were you able to find a fix to this?
Received a reply back from SNRB Labs
The fix would have to come from the CM rom. From the logs I looked at it looked like the audio driver wasn't working properly.
lame
Works fine on mine..Let me check and see how my setting s are and I will post back!!
You can make free calls with Google Voice, and a PBX server. It's really easy to install PBXinaflash on an older computer, or run it in a virtualized environment. Check out this tutorial here. For more reliability you can purchase a DID from voip.ms or Vitelity. For 4 dollars a month you can make as many outbound/inbound calls as you want -- voip.ms only. Vitelity is 4 dollars a month for unlimited inbound. I'm currently using a Vitelity DID for inbound calls, and a GV trunk to make outgoing calls for free. Media5-Phone works really well as a SIP client. I have found that the function built into Android does not work as well as some SIP applications. I really suggest building a PBX server over using a service such as Groove IP.

Anything special to report about your settings? I used the instructions described earlier to get audio working. I also tried changing the microphone setting to "standard mic", but it still isn't working.

Advanced Calling (HD) & Google Voice

Has anyone managed to get these two to work together?
I activated Advanced Calling a few weeks back. Little did I know my voicemail was no longer working since then and was just giving a busy signal. I've spent several hours now getting it back to working order, but the only way was to disable Advanced Calling. Apparently call forwarding does not work when Advanced Calling is on. I've seen people with other types of phones on forums talking about similar issues with no resolution. Anyone know how to get these two working?
Just as a side note to anyone who was stuck like I was - If you activated Advanced Calling, the only way to get call forwarding to work again is to go to Verizon's webpage and turn off Advanced Calling for your phone through the webpage. Turning it off on the phone alone does not work.
Running Google voice and HD calling, had to redo the Google voice activation on the phone, but that was all. Just got a google voicemail this morning, used the HD calling last night.

Must be isolated cases then. I can't get it working, nor ANY call forwarding to work (even tried other numbers that I own) with HD on. Just get a busy signal instead of it forwarded. Hate to have to call Verizon since I'll have to unroot just to call them.
I'm having similar issues since i enabled HD calling. I had to re-do the *71(voice mail number), *90(voice mail number), *92(voice mail number) to forward busy and unanswered calls. It would seem that google voice isn't accepting the forwarded port from verzion as my number. My verzion number is registered in google but google doesn't think my number is calling, so it doesn't allow me into voicemail.

[MOD][Xposed][4.0.3+] Diverted call detector

I've developed an Xposed module to detect when diverted (forwarded) calls are incoming. This is the support thread for this module.
The module is available here: http://repo.xposed.info/module/ch.masshardt.divertedcall
Please report any problems in this thread.
Thanks for using your time to developed this.bi am so sorry but I have no idea what this mod does. Can you please explain a little better as I don't know what diverted means.
Thanks!
A diverted call is an incoming call that was forwarded from another phone. The problem is that the number that is displayed on the phone is the calling number and not the number of the phone the call was forwarded from. So the number could be from the local country but was forwarded from a phone in a different country and there is no way to see that. With this mod it is at least possible to display a message with Tasker when such a call is incoming.
There are also other threads about this problem:

Any chance you could give some further detail on how to set up within Tasker?
I've uploaded an example Tasker profile on pastebin: http://pastebin.com/G4FDZe4M
Just download the example and save it as an xml file on your phone. In Tasker the profile xml can be imported by short pressing the "PROFILE" tab in Tasker and selecting "Import".
Interesting module, but I'm not really sure what problem this app is trying to solve...
When I receive a call that was diverted I'm being shown the original callers number with a text "forwarded call" below it - but that may be due to my use of CM?
However the 2 problems I do have with diverted calls can't be addressed with this mod afaict:
- In call log there's no indication whether a call was forwarded
- Different ringtone can't be set as the standard ringtone is played by Phone app and I could use tasker only to play an additional one but not replace it.
It's actually really cool if it works as I think it does. I've been getting a lot of random calls recently, all telemarketer. (Yay me)
Over half of them have my hometown's area code, but I know they are not actually that number from research. My phone at least does not say anything about it being a forwarded call. It would be nice to have an idea if they are actually a telemarketer calling or a friend that I had lost his number.
It depends on the rom that is running on the device. Google did not implement this notification in their source code, but some roms added this feature. E.g. on my Sony device I only receive a toast message for about 2 seconds that the call was diverted. Most of the time it takes more than two seconds until I notice that the phone is running so this notification doesn't help much. Also with the intent it is possible to do other things. For instance the phone could be muted or unmuted when such a call is incoming. I for an example use the plugin to unmute the phone when a diverted call is incoming if I am in charge of my office's 24/7 hotline. For this it would be really cool if also the redirecting number could be reported, but I don't think that this information is available in the 3g protocol.

As the person who created that issue in 2009, thanks for this module
Haven't quite got it to work yet in tasker yet though!
great idea .... thanks for update ....
Any updates on this whether it works before i purchase Tasker from Google Play
Thanks.
You can also use this with other apps than Tasker. Everything that supports Android Intent's should work.
@Thenetstriker
Hi, I'm trying to use this module.
I tried with tasker and e-robot but is working only one time (only for the first event).
If i reboot the phone is working again for the firs event but not the others following.
Any idea?
Tks.
problem
Thanks for your effort!
I meet the same problem with @mbgheban, "It is working the first time. If i reboot the phone, it work again for the first event but not the others following. Tasker cannot receive any more intent".
I am using android 6.0.
---------- Post added at 02:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:47 PM ----------
Moreover, only ver1.1 can work at the first event. Version 1.0 didn't work even the first time.
What's the difference between these versions?
unrooted?
did anyone find a way to get a notification without rooting the phone?
I am using a S8 which is showing a forwarded call notification but of cause too short...

Need Assistance: Phone App Corruption???

My SM-N900P will not send nor receive audio unless it is connected to a Bluetooth device. This started happening recently, and now even my backups from before this problem occurred are now affected. If no Bluetooth device is connected, it will attempt to dial and connect the call. If successful, the call will be in progress but I will not be able to hear the caller nor will the caller be able to hear me. Other times, upon placing the call, it will not connect and the call command will cause the phone to hard reset/restart. Even at the end of a successful Bluetooth call it may restart after the call ends. And now, sending texts now results in this behavior as well (restarts). I've looked at my CSC logs and apparently my phone thinks its Vietnamese? Not sure why... but that may explain all of my incoming calls getting an extra "+" in front of the number (I've been using the Prefixer app to remedy this)
I hope someone out there can help. I've attached the CSC log file in the hopes that it can shed some light on this problem...

I was thinking about that, but it's not a problem exclusive to their ROM. This is occurring with other ROMs as well, including stock ROMs.
