[CLOSED] CROSS FLASHED/NO BACKUP/LOST IEMI+NETWORK [SOLVED] - LG V60 ThinQ Questions & Answers

Hi all friend
(Let me clear 1st that i will share the complete procedure for restoring your dead phone including IEMI and NETWORK UNLOCK PROCEDURE but you have to help me as well to solve this issue)
as stated. i cross flashed the LGv60 (A001-Soft Bank) Thinq 5g model Japanese model without taking any backup (biggest mistake) to get rid Japanese blot wares and to upgrade to Android 12. Resultant Lost the IEMI (NULL) and NETWORK ERROR (Current NT codes are not for this firmware)
Read almost all threads of XDA, spend more than 2 weeks with almost a dead like phone.
Thanks to @shahid1214 & @k.syedhussain they both helped me a lot answered my nob questions and let me able to solve this issue.
BEFORE SHARING LET ME CONFIRM YOU THAT I HAVE HAD NO BACKUP, ALL THE PARTATIONS WERE DELETED. ALL THE WORK DONE FROM SCRATCH
Here are the success story
1. Phone Cross flashed (Successful) (yes i know every one knew it)
2. IEMI restored (Partially) not the original one but yes it has IEMI now.
3. Original Serial Number (Successful)
4. Baseband restored (Successful)
5. NT code error removed (Successful)
6. Network Unlock (NEED YOUR HELP HERE)
Please be patience and let me figure out how can we do it without any issue. Till than any of you who have his/her Lun / Bin backup share complete backup here or DM me. And any one who already conquer this quest is requested to share his story with solution.

Hello and good morning, @M.Z.F
Edit or change of IMEI is illegal in quite a few of countries. For this reason, I've closed your thread! XDA doesn't allow and doesn't accept discussions about or support for such an edit or change.

That, apart of being against the rules (since the first rule of XDA is search before posting) contribute to flame wars, angry users, etc.

Recognized Contributors are nominated by other users and/or Mods/Developers. They are recognised for their contributions which are not specifically Development, such as detailed guides, one-click utilities and other tools/mods.
Recognized Themers are also nominated by users/Mods/Developers, for their work themeing custom ROMs and providing standalone themes for flashing.
Recognized Developers are nominated and approved by the Developer Committee, for their work in Development whether it be ROMs, Root methods, bootloader unlocks etc.
Elite Recognized Developers are again assessed by the Developer Committee, and are deemed to have gone above-and-beyond in providing knowledge/hacks/tools/apps/ROMs for the XDA community.
Forum Moderators are appointed by the Moderator Committee, after submitting an application, they are the first-line of keeping the forums tidy, friendly and orderly.
Senior Moderators are the next step up the ladder, providing site-wide support for Forum Mods and looking after the nitty-gritty issues, as well as areas of XDA not policed by FSMs, such as the Marketplace.
Administrators are next. There are several Admins - each look after a specific part of XDA such as the Portal, the Members and the User Experience of XDA as a whole.
At the top is Mike Channon, who is overall Forum Administrator.
Other titles you may come across:
Moderator Committee - sits on the Mod Committee
Developer Committee - as above, but for Developer Committee
RC - RT Committee - as above, but for Contributor and Themer Committee
XDA Newswriter - publishes articles for the Portal (front page)
Retired xxxx - have since officially 'left' their XDA position
Contrary to what a lot of people expect, the thanks-meter does not figure at all in determining a users tag.

Ok my question:
My baseband-version of my ICS-version is i19100BULP6
So my number is LP6
What does this mean?
Since almost all themes don't support LP6.
So my questions:
1. Why don't they support this version?
2. Are they ever going to support it?
3. If I flash a custom ROM will I be able to use the ICS Domination theme then?
Thanks

Baseband is NOT the firmware so you are looking at the wrong code for custom roms .

There is no need to get defencive about your question, not everyone on this forum will snap at you for asking a question, if members do just ignore them. I would say that your best bet is wait for the samsung Galaxy s III, also is your phone rooted have you tried diffrent roms and kernels, to improve the battery life of your Galaxy S II and you would be able to tinker with you cpu.
Help Needed for a complete NOOB
Hi all, new member as i just got a samsung galaxy S2!
Ok, so i have bought a sgs2 of a friend at work. He was messing with it(trying to root it, he thinks) and did something wrong and messed it up, so i bought it of him for very cheap to have a go at fixing it. Things that are wrong with it - when you turn the phone on it just comes up with samsung Galaxy S2 gt-19100 with a yellow triangle under it, it wont go any further. I can get into the download menu, but i cant get into the menu to do a factory reset. Another thing is it will not charge, when i plug it in to the mains or a pc it just comes up with a battery and a little circle inside it, but dosnt move and dosnt charge! O and yet another thing i dont now what firmware was on it before, but i no it was O2 if thats any help. If i have left anything out that you need to no, ill be hear all night trying to get this thing going! Is it even possible for this to be fixed as i had a good look threw this website and the internet and cant find anything about this. I can post pics if needed!
Thanks
Ps. i hope i have put this in the right place, If not please feel free to move or remove.

Ok so the yellow triangle means he tried to flash an inscure kernel, which is fine but you seem to have got into boot loop. When you connect the phone to the computer does the computer recognise the phone. If it does then you can flash a stock firmware from here all the instructions you need are on that website.

Settings --> About phone --> Build number. I suspect yours is LPC rather than LP6, but that's just a guess.

2). I can't answer this question definitively because I don't yet know your build number yet, but themes and mods tend to be released for popular ROMs, you can always change.
3). You can see in the relevant thread which ROMs are supported http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334922 which at the time of writing appears to be LP3, LPS, LP4, LP7, LP8, LP9.

So my next question is about wipes
You have different kind of wipes and I can't find anywhere what they mean..
1. wipe data/factory reset
2. wipe dalvik cache
3. full wipe
4. wipe cache partition
5. when they say "wipe your date" what does that mean?
I would like to know what it removes and so if it deletes all my settings, files, or just cache.

1. Will wipe all of you apps, data, settings, e.t.c
2. That is to do with your apps and will do nothing to your phone that you will see, it is recomended that you wipe this when flashing rom or gapps as a make sure.
3. Same a the first
4. This will wipe a number of files, but nothing that you will see.
5. When they say wipe your data they mean 1 and 4, sometimes 2 if you are flashing Gapps

You may receive personal suggestions from the members based on their experience on the different ROM, but XDA moderaters dont like this question since there are lot of hardworks being made by the Developers during cooking of their ROM, all have got their own features, you have to test them untill you find a best for you....

Ok one of the most used roms is here, although you need to be rooted to install this rom on your phone.

Super User Access and User Supplied Kernels

Hello,
Does anyone happen to know if rooting and then unrooting is safe (I've search with no results). I mean this is in the sense that if you root you get super user access but that also means that the program (such as SuperSU) that you're rooting with gets super user access as well right? What if the problem is collecting your data (contact, texts, etc.)? Also should you trust a factory restore kernel that is supplied through one of these forums? Couldn't it be altered so that it was invasive? Thanks in advance for any information you can pass along, I'm pretty new to this stuff.

This will help you understand the rooting procedure as well as other important info.
You should be worrying more about apps, some of those collect data, and send it everywhere

Google play services not working, can't find a ROM [Huawei Enjoy 5s (TAG-AL00)]

I bought a phone in mainland China (Huawei Enjoy 5s, TAG-AL00). I found out the hard way that they actually set the phone up so google won't work on it. First thing I did was try the APK download, this doesn't work however, it seems that I need a new ROM to get get rid of the Chinese stuff they put on it.
I searched around online, I found essentially no information to help me. The best I've found is this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/huawei-enjoy-5-tit-al00-install-google-t3274461
However as you can see the model number is slightly different and the TAG-AL00 has come up a couple of times in this the above thread but there haven't been any answers as to whether or not the ROM will work on the TAG-AL00 model. The TIT-AL00 is called Enjoy 5, so the model name is similar, I am sceptical however as the model number is different. Also the GR3 models have the model number TAG-something (no something = AL00 though).
I have asked anyone who has the TAG-AL00 if they managed to get it working, no replies however.
Similarly for this thread which is specific to the model I have, no solutions however.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/huawei-enjoy-5s-tag-al00-install-google-t3360697
I have no idea if the TIT-AL00 ROM would work on the TAG model. I am willing to give it a go and see, since there seems to be few other options. What sort of consequences would I expect if it is not compatible? Would it be possible for me to do this and recover the phone if things went badly?
I've found only this ROM download, however since this appears to be the official ROM and to my knowledge the TAG-AL00 model only seems to be available in China, the ROM may well still block google anyway.
http://www.needrom.com/download/enjoy-5s-tag-al00/#comments
Would creating my own custom ROM be a viable option, or maybe my only option? I've had a look at this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690
I'm a N00B when it comes to this, I've never rooted an android device before. The closest i've come to something related was flashing Raspian to and SD card when setting up a RaspberryPi. Creating a custom ROM is definitely something I'd want to get into though, so maybe this would be a better option anyway?
Given the lack of responses surrounding the TAG-AL00 model, I'm not expecting any solutions. But perhaps someone could maybe point me in the best direction, or give some general advice (for a N00B who has never rooted an android) on what I could do to get google services working on this device.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690
I'm a N00B when it comes to this, I've never rooted an android device before. The closest i've come to something related was flashing Raspian to and SD card when setting up a RaspberryPi. Creating a custom ROM is definitely something I'd want to get into though, so maybe this would be a better option anyway?
Given the lack of responses surrounding the TAG-AL00 model, I'm not expecting any solutions. But perhaps someone could maybe point me in the best direction, or give some general advice (for a N00B who has never rooted an android) on what I could do to get google services working on this device.

[CLOSED] Wrong model number after root, but it's correct in Build.props

As the title says after rooting my fold 2 it thinks it's a nexus 6P, this is really annoying as I can't use the galaxy store along with a bunch of other apps.
I checked build.props but the model number is correct there. Is there anything I can do?
I got the latest firmware using Frija.
@Titanspark Thread closed as a subject matter related one already exists, in which you also posted minutes ago:
Wrong model number after flashing, but correct in build.prop
Hello! I not know if I'm writing in the right place, I'm new here So, a few days ago I installed a clean ROM (because by default, it had a Telcel ROM) in my SM-A015M, the problem is, model number shows SO-52A, normally I would not care, but...

S918N is possible rooting with out know security issues

Hello, I am a person who lives in South Korea and wants to root. Perhaps because of s918n's n, all community methods fail frequently. Even the installation of twrp has not been successful yet, but the note 9 that is playing at home succeeds in less than an hour after starting work..
I'm too beginner, so the current factor I figured out is that each region in the world has a different model, and as an identifier, n means South Korea, that is, it's impossible until twrp and rom suitable fo
r phones with n come out..
I am wondering if my analysis is correct. Oh, and currently, as far as I know, my model does not have a rooting method.. Is this correct?

Are you trying to root your phone or install a custom ROM?
I have failed all the methods on the s23ultra bulletin board. Please give me the address where I can download the twrp and rom files that have been verified to work on the current s918n..

I don't quite understand what you want (Sorry, language barrier), but to root your device follow Magisk's official Installation Instructions. I beleive there are currently no custom ROMs for your device because your device is so new. Let me know if you have any questions!

If you are trying to flash the stock OneUI, follow the directions here. Once again, please let me know if you have any questions.
AnswerThank you so much, I finally succeeded. I'm still not sure what exactly happened, so I don't even know why it happened, but...
First of all, I succeeded in obtaining superuser privileges, and I am enjoying all the privileges after rooting, such as installing the Majisk module. First of all, I was determined, but in the end, the point that the banking app and the Korean multifinancial integration app called TOS are not open after rooting is more difficult and nerve-wracking than I thought... First of all, since I have entered the world of rooting, I will enjoy a little and identify the cause later...
Thank you so much for your interest and help

Nice! As for banking apps, there are plenty of threads here on XDA about getting those to work. Good luck!
