Has anyone been able to receive 5G in Europe with the US U1 Galaxy S23 Ultra?

The UK is a part of Europe. Just because they are not a part of the European Union doesn't mean they aren't a part of the European continent.

I saw http://www.shopblt.com/cgi-bin/shop...01100250U025_BTC0602P.shtml&order_id=!ORDERID!
9/25 but you have to return to sony instead of them. I guess negri might get it about the same time. I am pretty sure it will work on LTE on ATT.
I am a few days from preordering unless I hear something new about htc one max release date.
entcts case
I thought the LTE Version was C6833 , what Version is the C6806 ???
will the purple version of C6806 be released at the same time as the white and black version?

C6806 is like an internaltional LTE version
My understanding is the C6806 is the US LTE version and compatible with Tmobile and ATT. I thought the C6833 is the EU version.

C6833 is LTE version suited for Europe and Australia, probably this is what you called call the international LTE version
C6806 is LTE version suited for North America
C6843 is LTE version suited for Japan and Korea as it has a SEG1 TV Tuner antenna
Search for the Z Ultra whitepapers for full details.

Chances are high that it won't work with LTE but u will get 3g

6833 should work with tmobile LTE. It wont work with ATT LTE.
6833 and 6806 both have band 4 - so they'll both work on TMO. only 6806 will get LTE on ATT.

I don't know much about the LTE networks in the USA, but check out this list and find your carrier, see which LTE bands they use;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks
And then compare to the LTE bands listed on page 4 here;

I am on T-mobile list say's band 4 , so I should be good & should have no problems with it working right ?
I've done lots and lots of research on the matter.
The C6806 is the ONLY version of the Xperia Z Ultra that will work on AT&T LTE (LTE Band 17). It ALSO has Band 4, which means it will work on T-Mobile LTE in the US also. It has Penta-band 3G, which means it will work on AT&T AND T-Mobile 3G as well. This is the PERFECT phone for the US if you are wanting a Z Ultra.
guys we use band 4 and usa use a different band it wont work same as nexus 4 only works in the use when lte is enabled not in uk.

which model for Korea and USA

I'm in the us air force in korea and my nexus 5 just broke. I'm looking at the g2 and need some help determining which model will work best in both Korea and the USA.
The At&t model or the T-Mobile model?

Based on info from these two places i would go tmob as it supports a 4g band that is supported in south korea and at&t does not, but i couldnt say as far as contracts were concerned.

Why are there subcategories for only US variants?

There are many different variants of the Galaxy S6 edge. Why are there only subcategories for the US variants?
Here's a list that I could find. I think there may be more too...
SM-G9250 (China, HK)
SM-G925A (AT&T)
SM-G925F (Global)
SM-G925FQ (Turkey)
SM-G925I (LATAM, Singapore, India, Australia)
SM-G925K, SM-G925L, SM-G925S (Korea)
SM-G925P (Sprint)
SM-G925T (T-Mobile)
SM-G925W8 (Canada)
It would be better to be categorized according to Model number rather than careere.
probably because this is an English speaking, USA based forum
you forgot g925v.. verizon... probably the largest US carrier lol
Sent from my SM-G925V using XDA Free mobile app
SM-G925R is the Us Cellular variant. Ik there aren't nearly as many USC users as the big 4 but their worth mentioning since they're completely unlocked.

So the Pirate Bay being hosted in Sweden means it should be in Swedish and only cater to Swedish users? Location of the server and language aren't relevant, the users make a social site like xda and the question above is a valid one if it's deemed that a large proportion of S6 users have a non-US variant.
In agreement that subcategories should by according to the model, or at least extend to international carriers....

I do not think G925F is global necessarily. It's for Europe... I found out G9250 has the most comprehensive list of supported 3g, LTE bands.

Same. No issues with it, AFAIK. Also thanks for making me check, I figured it was just made in China!
US Unlocked, G965U1, Korea
Sprint S9+ made in Vietnam
So far we see made in Korea, China, and Vietnam.
Only the U.S. unlocked version is made in Korea, and some U.S. unlocked are made in China.
All carrier and international versions are either made in China or Vietnam.
Any VZW version owners?
mine is G965U ATT korea
Vietnam international hybrid model. Exynos chipset.

I would love to get conclusive information about what handsets (single or dual, Exynos or SnapDragon) are affected and where they are manufactured. The problem is, unless people go looking for this particular problem, they may never know its there and its hard to get people to pin down their model details when reporting the issue. I suspected perhaps it was only Exynos models that were affected, but I'm sure we've had SnapDragon model owners post that they have the issue in the main black crush thread.
