Question Downgrade - Xiaomi 12T Pro / Redmi K50 Ultra

So basically I accidentally upgraded from miui 13.0.2 to miui 13.0.4 and I want to downgrade back to 13.0.2. I know this sounds stupid how could someone accidentally upgrade It all happened because I created a new 2nd space on my 12t pro and dumbass me not noticing that it was downloading a whole package of update on that new 2nd space I finished up realizing that I have already upgraded. Anyway I have tried looking for miui 13.0.2 global rom for Xiaomi 12T Pro on the miui website but could only find Japanese and Turkish ones none for global. Anyone can help me out with this?

Which model (settings/my phone/detailed information/model)?
ex: 22081212UG
13.0.4(full name)?
ex: V13.0.4.0.SLFMIXM

I'm trying to get the one the phone came with which is V13.0.2.0.SLFMIXM

To downgrade you must first unlock the bootloader.

After research, I find no V13.0.2.0.SLFMIXM but only V13.0.3.0.SLFMIXM.

How to flash Global Developer ROM in Indian RED MI Note 3?

dear all.
I have Indian Redmi Note 3 ( Snapdragon version, 3 gb 32GB), I am on stock MIUI Global StableVersion 7.2.5.0(LHOMIDA) . I want to flash Global Developer ROM on this .
I have a few queries
Q.1- Can I directly flash global developer ROM through Updater App without any boot loader unlocked issue or should I unlock the boot loader first?
Q.2 How can I flash Chinese ROM? The reason behind this is that Chinese version supports CDMA data facility which is missing in my global stable version at present I am using TATA cdma SIM in SIM slot 1, wherein voice call and sms works without any problem but data is not working probably because MEID is missing in global ROM ,so i guess that Chinese ROM will solve this issue. )
kindly help
warm regards
ankjain
With regards to your first query..You should go with the official way of unlocking bootloader thought it takes time ..some people who did the unofficial unlocking method ended up bricking their phones..I unlocked it officially then flashed twrp and flashed global dev rom
@vish9180- thanks mate. Is it necessary to unlock it?
Happy to help..It is...I didn't want to run the risk of bricking it like the other guys...so I went the official route...took me 4 days ..since I'm some what active on miui forum..participate in miui forum and they'll clear your unlock request faster.
I am not able to use wifi after trying to upgrade from global to developer rom please help me
Note i was unsuccessful to go on devoper rom with mi global rom yet but wifi stop working

Important message for the owners of "Global" Redmi K20 Pro

Hey,
I noticed that a lot of people are buying a "global" version of Redmi K20 Pro from Chinese sellers. Such a device comes with pre-installed global ROM with many languages.... but ATTENTION, for now there is no such thing as Global ROM! Chinese sellers unlock the bootloader with their dev account, then they install the remade global rom (most likely coming from non-original sources). One day when the official global ROM comes out, the OTA update will make a brick from the phone (because bootloader will most likely lock or simply the software files will not match).
When the bootloader is blocked, the device must have the same software as it came out of the factory, currently only China ROM. In a few days, the Indian version of Redmi K20 Pro with a different code name - raphaelin - will have premiere. Currently, when you check the fingerprint / code name of your Redmi K20 Pro with fake Global ROM (called trashMIUI) it will turn out that it is raphaelin instead of raphael... This already shows that something is wrong because raphaelin has will be presented in India on July 17.
My advice? If you have a global rom installed on Redmi K20 Pro, first install TWRP and Xiaomi.eu ROM, then stay on it until real global rom will be available! And REMEMBER, never lock your bootloader! If you will do it, the only way to fix it will be flash China ROM using test points.
It is also unknown whether the global rom from the Indian version of the Redmi K20 Pro will be able to be installed on the current Chinese version (there will be different code names).

I've tried them all so far and imo the best features and performance are found at this website. http://portal.mi-room.ru/roms/
Those Russians really know how to fix miui. You can even disable all the remaining useless miui apps right in the apps own info settings menu, so you don't need root or ADB.

Yes, you can do it, but...
Xiaomi.eu is China ROM with installed Google services, with multi-languages and it is debloated
I bought a Global ROM k20 pro before I figuring it wasn't an official ROM
If they opened the bootloader with a dev account. Is this different methode than with the Mi- account unlocking they tell buyers to do? If it isn't would it be possible to link the device to a different account?

So in theory I could flash a Xiaomi.eu ROM and re-lock bootloader, not gonna re-lock bootloader I know it's ill adviced but it's possible with those ROMs?
If you boot up the phone, on splash screen, you see the unlock label, that's great, just install twrp and enjoy any rom that you like. Luckily, you've got a pre-unlock device.
If not, I'll be sorry for that, locked bootloader and custom rom, you just can stay with that bad rom, only the qcom 9008 way can flash with locked bootloader.
I bought the normal China version, I have a question, can I fastboot flash India version rom on my China version phone?

Actually if you get a locked you just have to go through the Xiaomi unlocking process which takes a few days to a week. The bootloader is not permanently locked.

Yes I'm aware of this but I've read instances where people their device was still linked to the retailers MI-account therefore unable to unlock their bootloader that way. Mine will be delivered in 4 days but that's what concerns me the most.

How do you know that? First, India version will be available AFTER 17 July. India version will have different code name (raphaelin) than China version (raphael). Do you install software from Mi 9 on Redmi K20 Pro? Same components, BUT a different code name.

This is a slightly different method because they do not have to wait a week as opposed to an ordinary user. Of course, you can connect your Mi account with the device, but you must allow OEM unlock in the developer settings. Locking a bootloader is not really a good idea. And no, on xiaomi.eu never lock the bootloader. For example, an unlocked bootloader is needed because OTA updates are automatically installed via TWRP. Unlocked bootloader is useful, see what happened to Mi 9SE users - their system displayed a notification that it is destroyed, but thanks to an unlocked bootloader and TWRP you can install everything you want, fix Google Pay, remove MIUI ads, remove junk from the system etc.

There is no need for open gapps. The stock Chinese ROM has Google services already installed. Go to the Mi app store and search for Google. You'll probably not see anything straight away, but will get a pop-up message in Chinese. Click the right button and it will bring up a lot of Google apps, including the Play Store.

time to flash everything...
i just flashed twrp magisk and the rom. rebooted, it took a bit long... i thought i bricked it. but then, tada, everything the same but i had root. there was no reset involved seems the rom is a xiaomi eu rom...
And what if the ofiicial global version never comes out (wich is the most likely option)? What will then be with global ROM users. I ordered Global ROM and really would like someone to make video on youtube or explain steps for installing TWRP and Xiaomi.eu ROM, or what is the best option for us Global ROM users to get most out of phone... Thanks in advance

If you took the time to look through the K20 Pro forums, there are guides already. This is just a few threads below this one.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/k2...-xiaomi-eu-rom-fix-gpay-t3946342/post79859363
The clue is in the title.
Your phone will probably have an unlocked bootloader, so you can ignore the first part of the guide and move straight on to installing TWRP.
You haven't mentioned GPay either, so you can also ignore the last part of the guide.

[SOLVED] In need of help with RMX1921EX_11_C.02 version bugs

Hey guys, i've come across some bugs while installing the RMX1921EX_11_C.02 version from the Indian site to my phone and i would like some clarifications or help if someone faced those and overcame them.
- To begin with let me start by saying that I bought a global Realme XT with the firmware being RMX1921EX_11_A.05.
- I then managed to brick cyclops the device by trying to install RMX1921EX_11_A.10. Phone wouldn't boot, stuck on the Realme black/white logo.
- I managed to install RMX1921EX_11_A.06 through recovery and sd card.
- Then I downloaded from the Indian support site and installed through file manager the version RMX1921EX_11_C.02.
Now, on this version everything seems to work ok minus some bugs:
- Phone gets a bit laggy sometimes
- Brightness in automatic mode is not working
- Software update through settings won't work. Crashes a while after opening
- Battery life seems affected, won't last anyway near to what it was on RMX1921EX_11_A.05
So my question is, has anyone experienced any of those and found a solution to the bugs?
Also, is there anyway to obtain and roll back to the original stock rom RMX1921EX_11_A.05 from the beginning and then wait for the official OTA update?
Thank you in advance
Are you sure your phone firmware is RMX1921EX_11_A.05. (India version) not RMX1921EUEX (global version)?
If your firmware is India version, you should be able to unlock the bootloader and install twrp.

Yes, absolutely sure but im confused as RMX1921EX_11_A.05. is supposed to India version which my phone had but then the place i bought it was advertised as the global version and also i didn't receive the official ota update through the phone's update settings (and supposedly having the indian version). Seriously, realme's firmware naming and distribution is so confusing and impractical. but let's say i indee have the indian version, what does unlocking the bootloader and installing twrp mean? how will that help me and are there any cons into doing that? Thanks man
unlock the bootloader you can root the phone
https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...ecovery-unofficial-twrp-realme-5-pro-t3985459
My XT is was some as the global version. But from what I'm reading this says I'm using the Indian version? But I have NFC. This is so confusing. Bought this phone thinking I could unlock and root.
This confusing but normal. I bought two EU phones with NFC. One for me and one for my girlfriend. She is still on RMX1921EX_11_A.05.
I updatet my Phone to A.06 and when i look in phonedetails is called RMX1921EX_11_A.06.
I read that A.05 can be unlocked in the other thread. I would test this by myself, but yeah i don't want drama with my girlsfriends phone.
So i don't touch it

India version comes with no NFC. You can try Depth test apk , it won't hurt your phone even you pass it. Let us know if your global version can pass it or not.

MiUI12 on the Mi10?

Hey, so I've been using Xiaomi phones for quite a while, and I've gone through notes, Poco, the 9T pro, now up to the Mi10. I've only ever installed minor mods and such, never needed to flash ROMs before. I just set up my Mi10 today and it says no updates are available, staying on Android 10 and MiUI 11, even though it should have at least access to a beta MiUI12. Tried different regions, nothing.
I looked around and saw some ROMs for MiUI 12 for DL, there are ROMs for the Ultra and Pro, but not the basic. Thing is, the Pro and the regular are almost identical devices, save for I guess the camera sensors. So, I have a few questions.
Would the Mi10 pro ROM work for the regular Mi10 5G?
If not, is there a link I missed here for a MiUI 12 ROM for the regular one?
Can I really install a ROM through the phone itself, manually, and if not, is there a guide on here that I have also missed?

You mean the V12.2.4.0.RJBEUXM Europe recovery ROM from here Download: MIUI 12 stable update rolling out to several Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices (xda-developers.com) ?
Because when I tried to install it with choose update package, it said something about couldn't verify carrier or something like that.
Haven't tried it in recovery mode after restart, but I was worried if that might have a bad effect on the device. I have not unlocked bootloader myself, never done it before.

Well, this really blows. I set up an account fine, logged in with MiUnlock, tried to unlock, it threw an error 1004. Tried again, told me to associate this device and number in developer settings. I did that, tried again, and it said "Try again 168 hours later, not earlier or you'll wait from scratch"...
This sucks.
I don't get it at all. Everything seemed fine. Is there really nothing I can do?
I'm almost tempted to just return the phone if I can't.

I don't get it at all. Everything seemed fine. Is there really nothing I can do?
I'm almost tempted to just return the phone if I can't.

It is normal, Xiaomi requests 170 hours generally for unlocking

But it was with some sort of error message, is this normal?
If it's normal and I just need to try in a week, then ok, but if there's something else, I might as well return it since no telling when VF will release firmware, and I wasn't told it was VF-branded on purchase.
I also get something about "SMS_DOWNLINK_REACHED", if that matters, but it didn't seem to affect the Mi account or the developer options "add account to device".

You have to wait a week, yes. Seller should say if it is a branded VF device. If you don't want to wait you can return it. In my case i have paid 420 EUR, so i choose to unbrand it by myself.
I advice you to read some guide online for unlocking etc
Message in "mi flash" is normal, you have to use "mi unlock" before. They are different programs

Yeah, I know they're different, this message is from Mi Unlock Tool, I followed the steps on Xiaomi's DL site for it, i.e. create and confirm a Mi account on the phone, download the tool, log in with the account, boot the phone in safeboot mode, try unlocking, llink the phone and number with developer options, etc.
If it's normal, then that's good and I didn't mess something up. All that's left is to wait and see if it works in a week.
Thanks a lot for the help, I hope this works out eventually!

Question Redmi Note 12Pro+ Official ROM interchangeability

I have a new Redmi Note 12Pro+ which has the Chinese MIUI ROM (14.0.3) installed. Is it possible to replace this ROM with the international version? If the answer is yes is an instruction post available?
Also for those who might know is this the correct ROM as refers only to Redmi Note 12?
To switch from Chinese rom to global one you have to unlock the bootloader first , the wait time for unlocking bootloader should be 7-14 days .
Also your phone is note 12 pro + and the note 12 is definitely different both hardware and software wise
Hope it helps.
Thanks for your reply. Just to better my understanding, unlocking the bootloader is the same as what used be called rooting the phone? Why 7-14 days?
Updated my search and I think this is the right one.
unlocking the bootloader need a tool called MITOOL,this tool do not work util the phone login a account and keep 7-14 days.
it is a rule set by the XiaoMi LTD
