Recently I ran into a problem ... 120Hz from the word does not work at all (only the interface and other system applications). AutoHz, Smart Hertz, etc. do not work ... There is only one option left, through the adb package it issues permission for autohz. For me, this will be the first experience, so I want to know in detail how to do it.
If there are other possibilities, please let me know...
Ps: the only apps that work with high hertz are pubg and fortnite.

Download the setedit application on the f-droid app store, open the application and search for the keyword "refresh" and edit its value to 1. 120hz has been applied system-wide. Note that when you restart the phone you must edit value refesh rate=1.

Just tried it... Everything worked, I was already glad that I solved the problem, but no. 10 minutes later everything was back again. Yes, 120Hz is everywhere, but the FPS is also 60, although the application supports 120.

i don't know app u using lock 60 fps, i use setedit and always working 120hz in app and no problems. I update oss not format data or doing anything because my phone china version convert oos, if i format data phone lag and overheating.

If possible I am asking those of you with TWRP, root and backed up Le Max 2 phones to test and see if this method will enable Camera 2 API and provide full manual control to this best price - performance ratio phone.

Nice, now I can shoot RAW pictures and get some manual things. I use Le max 2 and Cuoco92 rom and this enabling of camera2api doesn´t break the stock camera app on my device.

In case you yet to receive, i suggest not to upgrade from 14s until u root your device. OR built a rooting tool for most of us who are not willing to root once after updating 15s security patch :crying:

I edited t the build prop file as described in the link and installed the he recommended app.
On main camera all I get is a black screen ?
Maybe I should try another a app but don't know which one I should get to test it out...

Been using this trick for a couple of weeks now. It's not that no one else has tried this, only that there are not many people on xda lemax 2 forums, most are on letv.re or spanish htcmania.
So, camera2 api is working on EUI roms? Because on Mokee it doesn't. It is activated in build.prop but when i try to use some camera app that work with camera2 api - crash, or blank screen etc.

camera2api raw mode does work on the latest .19s rom. However, the only camera app that works perfectly for me on my x820 is the Footej Camera on Playstore. Lightroom mobile detected the .dng perfectly at about 40mb for RAW and after you edited and save it, the jpg is 20mb

Here is the Google camera which i was using on my honor play. But unfortunately I updated my phone to EMUI 9 after that I am not able to use it.
On mate 20 pro you have fully enabled camera2api. It may work on your device.

Make the " GCam" folder into the file manager and inside this GCam folder make "Configs" Folder. Inside the Configs folder keep mentioned below " .xlm" file
If you have any gcam installed then uninstall that and install this one. After opening the camera just do duoble tap below the shutter button and you will get a prompt to restore. Tap on restore that's it.
Note: restart the camera..

I see where google camera can be downloaded from app gallery. Works fine on phone.

Sorry guys i have bad news for you. Huawei and Honor have officially disabled support for Google camera in their latest EMUI 9. All who got the EMUI 9 will not get the taste of Google camera anymore until they will enable it again. According to the developer Urynx05.
This was my biggest ever mistake i brought the honor phone. These people restrict users in all the way. You can't do anything with your mobile.
1: You can't unlock the bootloader
2: Now disabled the support of Google camera
3: Third party launchers are not working well with EMUI 9
4: You can't record the logcat. If you record the logact there will be no meaningful information.
ArnovaG82 did the great job. He did so much hard work to make Google camera compatible with kirin devices. We were enjoying the Google camera on EMUI 8.2. we were happy about it but Huawei and Honor disabled completely in their latest EMUI 9 update.
I am not gonna buy Honor/Huawei smartphone ever again because these people are not giving any freedom to the users.
If Huawei/Honor don't like these things why dont they make their own operating system..

I'll take your word for 2 and 4 - but 1 and 3 is wrong, there's plenty of posts here that prove that you can unlock the bootloader and 3, I used several different launchers and they all work well (maybe it's better to say "some 3rd party launchers"..)
Edit: do you actually only mean Honor phones or also Huawei?

You can unlock the bootloader but thats expensive it cost near around 40 or 50$. No one is ready to do that and this is not the easiest way. If bootloader unlock is easy then why isn't any development going on Huawei/Honor devices.

Got it to work with the Standard Mate 20
Tried it on the standard Mate 20
Firstly, the rear camera crashes.
Video and Selfie works though.
I then played around the settings and i got the rear camera working.
I changed some settings:
1. Settings > Quick Settings > Advanced > Fix > Viewfinder Format > YUV_420_888(Default)
2. Settings > Quick Settings > Advanced > Base > Config > Pixel2018 HW Zsl Hdr(need YUV)
Nightsight, portrait, slowmo still not working
Hope this works with the Pro model.

Yes it takes pictures but without hdr. You can see there is no hdr processing. In this config. Hdr remain disabled..
There is no way that Google camera will work on EMUI 9. They have disabled it completely. Main thing in Google camera is "Hdr+". If it doesn't work then there is no meaning of Google camera..

Im a Italian guy that found a gcam that works perfect on Umidigi S5 PRO, the only problem is that S5 Pro dont havethe RAW capture and the "photo" voice show black screen.
Video and the other photograpic functions/scenes works flawlessy (Panorama etc...)
Video 4k results are the best i got, even better of OpenCamera and gcam 5.1, plus HyperCam can load XML for have bot Day/Light and Night/Dark settings ready on the go.
The Author is Wyroczen and was made for Xiaomi but we got same MediaTek 90T and 48mpx.
If you can contact the Author and help with the correction of Raw Sensor access that obviusely make the "photo" only not working or if you can fix yourself make sure to update this thread.

Glad you had no trouble. I meant to post earlier that the same procedure for the F2 works for this as well. It's apparently an Android 10 procedure. It also works on the Power3. However, the F2 twrp doesn't work, unfortunately.

This is the build that loads: HyperCam-RaizenA-10-OPZ_RN8P - You can find it on GCam Hub.
Video and Lens Blur work. Nothing else at the moment.
Hopefully we can find a working combo of sorts.
I'm curious. @Wyroczen I know you're super busy with the RN8P and not asking for you to do any dev work here, but would you have any ideas as to why the S5 Pro may not play as nicely as other phones with the same chipset? Any sort of direction/insight would be incredibly appreciated on top of everything that you've already done and continue to do.
Never mind. I found the answer. Umidigi needs to enable RAW camera API.
Rooted the phone and have been trying to enable RAW CAPTURE. Modified the build.prop which resulted in a boot loop or stuck boot. Tried via engineering mode and by flashing a couple different Magisk CAM2 enablers/Pix3flfy. Nothing. Doesn't even show up as an option in engineering mode to enable RAW.
Anyone have any luck getting around this? Anyone know of any MTK firmware disassemblers? Maybe we can just force enable the RAW capture mode ourselves...
How does Android apps read hardware info such as GPU name and brand? What I need to do is to fake Adreno 630 as Adreno 640. Because this makes a lot of difference and opens up lots of graphical options in games that are otherwise hidden on Adreno 630 because devs think it can't handle but it actually does pretty well.
I used GLTools on Android 9 but on Android 10, it doesn't work. Is there any other way we can fake the GPU only?

Probably by calling dumpsys, a tool that is present on all Android devices and provides information about system services.
Each Android user can call dumpsys from the command line using the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to get diagnostic output for all system services running on a connected device.
For example

or if one wants output stored in a text-file on Wndows computer

to get complete info about SurfaceFlinger service's settings.
FYI: All of the visible surfaces rendered are composited onto the display by SurfaceFlinger.

Which device works for you? Can you check which one are you using? There are hundreds of device options available.

It may be possible, but thaaat is very suspicious. There's no reason a device on eBay should be in demo mode. I would return it, there's a good chance that was stolen from a store and on top of the legal issues with that, it would probably be IMEI blacklisted (and barred from activating on any network) eventually if it is and it's reported.
There are a lot of methods shown on Youtube, search Pixel 6 MDM and you will find a solution
