Custom Notification Categories? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I think this is the right forum, if not feel free to let me know which to post to but in the mean time I have a question.
I am looking for a App or Root tweak/mod/module/whatever that allows me to create collapsible/customizable notification categories for the notification panel on my Rooted Android 13, Pixel 7 Pro. Basically I want to have my "background/constant" notifications in a separate or collapsible area so that it doesn't clutter up the rest of the notification panel.
if you guys know something that can do this let me know, please and thank you.

Notification Bar Stopwatch/Timer?

Hey! I always hate that when I'm running a timer or stopwatch there's no easy way to tell how much time you have left without returning to the app. Thought a cool feature would be to have a small notification on the status bar, always visible like the clock, that you could quickly glance at to check how its going.
My knowledge of Android development is pretty limited, wondering if anyone knows whether this would be possible?

You should check out Chef's Kitchen Timer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.rift.android.KitchenTimer
Questions should be asked in Q&A forums, not Development forums.

Is there a way move notification & widget bars around ?

Say to where notification bar is on the right and the widgets are on the left (simple swap of default positions) ?
If you are willing to root your device thern you can install a custom ROM with that feature such as:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998585
Note: You can un-root is you need to send the device in for repair.
Thats the very ROM I am on. Was wondering if I could move the widgets bar to the left and notifications bar to the right ?

The how-to for moving the bar ... etc, is buried in the long thread on posts for that ROM. I do recall a comment by the ROM author on how to find the specific settings dialouge which is not all that obvious.
Maybe using the advanced search in that thread or looking for his specific posts may help. The ROM author tends to answer several different questions in a single post so that may make searching difficult.
If searching fails then post your how-to question in that ROM thread stating you already have the latest version of the ROM installed.
Good luck

[Q] Google play music widget for notification bar

Hello everybody,
This is my first time posting, so I am pretty unfamiliar with everything. I hope I am posting to the right place and that this is not something that has already been discussed. I am considering rooting my Sprint Galaxy S3, and I had a question. Is it possible to permanently put this version (1st attachment) of the play music widget instead of this version (2nd attachment)? I want to always be able to see the 1st version, but when I have too many things open in the notification bar, the widget changes. Is there a way to modify this. I use google access music and would like to keep using the app, but just have a modified notification bar widget. Thanks everyone

[Q] [REQ]

Looking for a way to just hide ongoing notifications in notification bar without disabling them. Even if it means hiding ongoing notifications all together. This has to be possible...
With a "lazy" title, it's doubtful that those in a position to help you will. The only reasons that anyone would open this thread as it currently stands are boredom or morbid curiosity.
If you're able to, edit the thread title to indicate what you're requesting- it will exponentially increase the chance of someone that's in a position to do what you're asking actually reading it.

Question to developers

Hello everyone!
I want to know if it's posible to make the stock Launcher slide down from any part of the Desktop and open the notification panel instead of the hisearch bar.
I know this is possible using third part launchers and i had been using nova Launcher for the last 5-6 years, but i like the stock look on emui so im interested on that and thats the reason i ask the developers because i think it cannot be something so hard to do but very useful. I don't know how Huawei did not thought about that...
Up for subscribing to your thread so i will know when a developer that has a Huawei device and is mooding EMUI 10 apps ? will answer your question ?
PS. ATM i can say that i don't know any, but who knows, maybe there are some @ here, using the phone as is, because for this device (and all released after this one) there is no bootloader unlocking codes / root...

Yo,
I have a little trick with an app called VividNG.
I have assigned to the top right side of my screen a zone where I can pull down to open the notification panel.
After doing this you will be able to open the notification panel this way in every app. Just use your thumb.
It's not as easy as swiping from anywhere on the screen but it's better than nothing at all and having to reach the top of the screen everytime.
Hope that it will help someone !
