[GUIDE] Xiaomi Redmi 8A EDL Flashing using Mi Flash Tool. (Also works for Redmi 7A).
This tutorial has been successfully tested with Redmi 8A, Redmi 8A Dual and Redmi 7A all featuring
a Qualcomm SDM439 Chipset.
WARNING: DO NOT SHORT THE TEST POINT FOR LONGER PERIOD OR UNNECESSARILY.
Requirements:
1. Xiaomi Redmi 8A disassembled to short the EDL point. [Point BOOT & 1P8]

5. Flash File -- I'm using Indian Variant of the device so I downloaded the latest available Android 10 based official firmware.
[olivelite_in_global_images_V12.5.2.0.QCPINXM_20211010.0000.00_10.0_in_2070760cb5.tgz]
Instructions
1. Install the Qualcomm 9008 Drivers
2. Extract XiaoMiFlash.zip and open the tool.
Extract the phone firmware and then Select the extracted flash file in the tool.
Short the test point and plug the usb into phone and it shall show up as Qualcom HS-USB QDLoader 9008 in Ports (COM & LPT).
Flashing Completed Successfully.

I do already try to flash it in win7, win8 and win10 but the result akways same. All driver work properly. Am I miss something??

download the fastboot rom again and try to flash it in edl mode.should get the job done.
Connect your phone to silent mode EDL.
The easiest way to flash MIUI ROM is using Fastboot method, you can find the guide at official site..
Btw, there's MIUI 8 Global Developer/Stable for Redmi 3, use that instead of China version..
i keep getting "error" as my result

I tried "clean all", "save user data", and "clean all and lock" but all have error as result

Instructions-
First of all Prepare Deep Flash Cable using Below Guide
Attached Both Coper Wire and then connect this cable with your pc
Now connect your Device to usb [Make Sure Your phone is switched Off]
On Pc go To Device manager and Look on port, {No Available] Don't Worry]
Pull the attached Wire and look Device Manager a New port Is Available HS-USB Diagnostic 9008[ com5, com17 etc]
Ok your Device is ready For Flashing
Run mi Flash click on Browse and Load Fastboot Rom Folder
Click Refresh and Then Flash Done, wait a few Seconds While flashing IS complete ,

Bought a Deep Flash Cable @ AliExpress (for about 5€/5US$). It has a button to enable Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 and for me is more secure then trying to risk to kill your mainboard via USB.
P.S.: I'm not good at DIY.

as per Your Device If MTK/China Then download china rom/Fastboot
If Global then download Global Stable rom /Fastboot
Also Download Mi Flash Beta Tool
After Download Extract It to ur pc
Again open extracted file with Win Rar or change file ext to zip/rar
for extraxting again
after extracting two time you will find Imaages folder
Select images folder In mi Flash Beta Tool
Conect Your device In EDL Mode with PC
Press refresh Button on Tool
You will find Port showing in tool
Press flash
wait 3 mins
Now you are on stock rom

I'm not sure what you're trying to flash and what your actual device is, but you can't flash MIUI on regular TWRP.

So, Here is my quick guide on how to install a custom ROM on the Xiaomi Mi 8, although the basic steps will work on all Xiaomi phones. I'm going to be going through step by step on how to UNLOCK your BOOTLOADER, Install TWRP and finally install the Custom ROM of your choosing.

Hello and thanks for readingSo, i will to explain my situation:
The phone is stucked in edl.
The phone was runing miui 9.5.
The device manager see the 9008 qloader.
Mi flash tool see the device.
The led blink in red.
No mi logo.
No fastboot.
No vibration.
No unlock bootlader.
Here comes the errors:When i try to flash this fastboot room in the mi flash tool, i get the following error: Ping target failed.

When i try with QFIL 2.0.0.3 i get this error (Device is not in firehose mode):
Aditional info:
I try with a couple of roms, devolper and stable.
I am triying to flash from windows 10 64 bit (driver enforce are disabled).
I tryed with deep flash cable (cortocircuit green and white)
When i try with older mi flash tool (2015), i get stuck in send nop comand.
I install and re-install drivers several times (qualcom).
I follow many guides, but most are to enter in edl mode, and then they can flash with no problems.
Here is a screenshot of the device manager:
The mi flash tool stuck few seconds in this, "ping target via firehose" before it ends in error:
Conclusion and what I think is the problemI think there is a soft problem with the emmc and the prog_emmc_firehose_8976_ddr.mbn, that does not let communicate the cellphone and the mi flash tool properly.
Other can be that the emmc went only read.
If is that the problem, is there any soft solution??
I would apreciate any help.
