Question Not detected by PC - Xiaomi Poco F4 GT / Redmi K50 Gaming

Hi and Thank you for help!
The problem is, When I connect phone to PC in "Bootloader" mode(turn off volu...), Nothing happend in my pc.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOTHING
not in device manager, Not even a connecting beep, Nothing at all
Where is the problem?
After I buy this phone, the global ROM make me mad, because of st#%#id google dialer, my phone is nearly USELESS
so I need to change the ROM to Indonesia(ID) version

You have to first install all the drivers.
ADB and Fastboot drivers download and install it.
MI FLASH TOOL download and install it. after installation open the mi flash tool and go to drivers and install the drivers in C drive.
after that your pc should read you device.
if still the problem be there, then I suggest updating the windows or update the windows drivers.
i hope it will help you.

How to get Fastboot working in Windows 8 with the Xperia S? Somebody already got it working?
I installed PC Companion, Flashtool, Android SDK+adb. Everything works: I can connect through adb. Flashtools works in flashmode.
EXCEPT: fastboot...
Fastboot just won't see any device in Windows 8. How to fix this?
On my other computers/OSes it works without problems.

got the same problem on my xperia ray
I had this problem earlier.
Well windows 8 does allow unsigned fastboot drivers to get installed. I'm assuming u r installing drivers from file in flashtool folder.
Follow the procedure in This link to disable driver signatures.
Reboot system after procedure done, then install the fastboot drivers they should work fine.

Heard this from somewhere, it's worth a shot.
Put phone in mtp, connect, it will install drivers then put it in msc and then try
Don't forget to hit thanks
where i can see this option in cyanogen mod 7 ? i cant find it
Simplest solution - just don't use flashtool for fastboot. Download android-sdk and install platform-tools. Follow this guide from step 9 - http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions
It will 100% work.:good:
Also, you should have posted in the Q&A section.
its not working
installed android SDK, platform tools , copied android_winusb.ini .... but when i try to connect via fastboot it asks for drivers and i installed it but it says that i have latest drivers... its not workiiing (
can you send me better guide with screenshots or something like that ?
It worked in past good ... but now its not working
Okay, first maybe you want to delete your current flashtool, then just install latest flashtool version
Then check all the drivers and install it
If still not working, maybe you want to uninstall your current fastboot driver:
Right-click My Computer, click Manage, and then click Device Manager.
Right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
find S1Fastboot driver under other devices (i think... i forgot), right click and uninstall
After that just reinstall all the driver again from the fastboot folder
maybe it will work, correct me if im wrong
*)if still didn't work, just try to do it on other pc
in device manager , i cant find the s1fastboot driver ... isnt there but i installed all the drivers but they arent here
it works on other pc ... thanks .. but on this pc it dont work... on second pc i installed all drivers and it works... here i installed same drivers and it dont work

[Q] help no fastboot

i had a fresh install of windows 7, evn prvsly i was on windows 7 and somehow i had managed to install all drivers for xperia p
but after this fresh install i am unable to go to fastboot , somehow i installed flashmode drivers
i evn installed the drivers from fastboot-drivers.exe but no use when i start flashtool and try to enter fastboot mode i get an error message saying the device drivers are not installed , install these drivers from flashtool folder
what do i do ? evn in device manager when i update it doesnt find any software.. when windows try to install s1boot fastboot drivers it shows not installed
where m i wrong? please help me
I think i had that same problem too, and took me some time to find the right answer, it is probably windows that won't install unsigned drivers, so try reboot, and press F8, and allow installation of unsigned drivers, though i just wrote a CMD code at that page i visited, but i can't find it now lol.
Well try here http://www.techspot.com/community/t...signed-drivers-in-windows-vista-7-x64.127187/

if this dont work than open device manager
and plug ur phne in fastboot mode
on device manager ut show s1 fastboot somthing like that just for 5 sec
hurry and double click on that
after that update driver
select browse my computer for driver software
after that select let me pick from a list of device

Did you look into device manager if its recognized there? Do you mean fastboot drivers or normal MTP drivers?
To install the fastboot driver, you need to deactivate the driver signature of windows 8. (just google for it, its very easy)
If it is not recognized at all, try another usb port. Does it work on other PCs?

[SOLVED] Unbrick with locked bootloader

As the title reads, I am stuck in a bootloop I guess coming from uninstalling more system apps than was probably wise.
I tried to flash via Mi Flash but I get a "can't flash a locked phone" error.
I also tried to connect to Mi PC Suite on Fastboot but it doesn't recognize the phone as connected (although the PC itself does and Mi Flash did too).
What options do I have?
Much appreciated,
Ultimatum
SOLUTION:
Download latest Fastboot ROM and decompress
Download and install MiFlash
Open MiFlash
Shut down the phone
Power on with Power + Vol Up.
Download Mode
Connect phone to computer, let it install the drivers if necessary
Refresh MiFlash, phone should show up (for me, Device showed as COM 10)
Browse the ROM
Tick Flash all except data and storage
Advanced > clear nvflash_all.bat
Flash
Enjoy!

have you tried to re-install the Driver? make sure that you only use win 64 bit for flashing, many issues occurred when you try to flash using win 32 bit
I am using Windows 10 64 bit. Moreover, I have installed ADB drivers separately (although these seem to come with the Mi Flash utility too).
I think it's intended behavior not to be able to flash via Fastboot with the bootloader locked? I was hoping to be able to restore via Mi PC Suite but it can't seem to see the phone, although the computer does and Mi Flash does too.
try using Mi PC Suite, http://en.miui.com/thread-92720-1-1.html, After Mi PC Suite is installed, make sure that your phone is in fastboot mode, connect your phone to a computer, and select the correct ROM file to flash
"I also tried to connect to Mi PC Suite on Fastboot but it doesn't recognize the phone as connected (although the PC itself does and Mi Flash did too)."
For some reason, Mi PC Suite is not detecting the phone.

Hello there,
I faced the same situation, but unfortunately in download mode, the phone is not detected in MiFlash, it detected as QHSUSB_BULK in Windows. Phone is detected while in fastboot and normal mode, but not in download mode. Do you have any idea what to do?
I expect this is a driver issue, but I can't figure out what.. I'm using Windows 64 bit, disabled driver signature enforcement, and installed all driver from MiFlash installation (there were 3 of driver notification prompt).

You need to update QHSUSB_BULK to the Qualcomm driver.
Device Manager > Select QHSUSB_BULK > Update Driver Software > Find manually the location of the driver, most likely: C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Qualcomm\Driver
The driver should now appear as Qualcomm something, and Mi Flash should be able to see the phone.
Does this work?

Hi,
Thank you for the help. Unfortunately it doesn't work straight away, fortunately this leads me to the right direction, after I tried to point the driver to Xiaomi directory, a window dialog says the driver is 32 bit thus noninstallable for my PC, then I looked around for 64 bit driver for Qualcomm, installed it. I can finally install the driver but the phone is detected as unknown USB device, after removing it from Device Manager, restarted my PC, and tried again, it's still the same, on the third try it finally detected properly. It's working now, thank you very much.
Really weird why did MiFlash comes with noninstallable driver.

you have to flash in edl mode not fastboot so google on how to take redmi 3s into edl mode then you can flash the rom in locked bootloader.in redmi 3 we use volume up and volume down and power button.press all three at the same time and it will take u to edl mode.screen becomes all black but if you plug it to ur computer and press refresh in miflash then it will show as com 10 or 20.thats for redmi 3.maybe redmi 3s has the same steps

I believe you are talking about dfc a.k.a deep flash cable. I have searched alot I couldn't find it on any e-commerce site except alibaba which doesn't ship at my place. Can yousuggest any seller or website if you ever came across selling dfc cable? Deep flash method is the only last resort for my problem other than sending phone to service centre. Could you suggest any website to make dfc cable manually?;as I have searched youtube but non of the method mentioned in it seemed liable to me.

You don't need deep flash cable use button combo to put in edl mode. From device manager update driver for QHSUSB_BULK. \After that reboot pc with driver signature disabled, then open mi flash and phone should be recognised. Just found the thread I used to remove vendor rom.
http://en.miui.com/thread-254606-1-1.html
JUST MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE ROM FOR YOUR DEVICE!:crying:

As I have already said edl mode won't work since developers option was not activated as edl requires oem activated. I had already tried all the methods.

Nexus 10 rooted in a bootloop
Hi folks! I'm a newbie with this stuffs so I'll do my best to explain the issue. I've recently rooted my Nexus 10 with Nexus root toolkit 2.1.9( I believe). All was fine until I turn it off and back on. Now I'm in a bootloop. I could use the Unroot+flash command but my windows 7 won't detect the device. It only detect it when my tablet is connected and turn off. In that case shows as MTP. Can anyone help me reinstalling the driver or else? Thank you
