Oh boy, another custom ROM!
Make sure to update your device to the latest version of OxygenOS 12 (C.23) BEFORE installing this ROM. Mismatched firmware can cause weird issues.
How do I install this?
Installation is more or less the same as LineageOS. In short, if you're coming from stock:
- Update to the latest version of OxygenOS
- Unlock your bootloader
- Flash the dtbo, vendor_boot, and boot files in fastboot
- Reboot to recovery, wipe data, reboot to recovery again
- Sideload the copy-partitions zip
- Sideload the PixelExperience zip
- Reboot & enjoy
Detailed instructions
Does this work on the T-Mobile/Metro variants?
Yes. Keep in mind that the method to unlock the bootloader on carrier vatiants is different than on the unlocked variant. Once you unlock the bootloader, the rest of the installation procedure is the same.
Is this ROM stable enough for daily use?
I think it is. Check the known issues section to know what's not working before you install.
Does this ROM pass SafetyNet/Play Integrity out of the box?
Yes. Note that installing mods, such as Magisk, may trip SafetyNet/Play Integrity.
Where's PixelExperience Plus?
I didn't feel like building it, sorry.
A note about building PixelExperience:
If you want to build PE for this device, you'll need to make a few modifications:
You'll need the kernel build tools from AOSP. Add
XML:
<project path="prebuilts/kernel-build-tools" name="kernel/prebuilts/build-tools" clone-depth="1" remote="aosp" revision="refs/tags/android-13.0.0_r0.60" />
to your local manifest.
Use my hardware/oplus fork.
Get the proprietary files from TheMuppets.
Thanks to everyone who helped bring custom ROMs to this device, including:

@lzgmc - thanks a lot for this.
PixelExperience has been my favorite ROM and I have been looking for this for my N200(s) for a while.
Do you think you would be able to provide regular updates for the ROM?

I don't see any update option in the System settings.
Are updates not supported?

The cell network is extremely flaky - going in and out every 2 seconds.
I am using an xfinity mobile (verizon mvno) sim, in case that matters.

There's no updater app in unofficial builds. You're gonna have to wait for official builds

What firmware are you flashing from?

Thanks a lot for the support..
I'm using the latest firmware from the zip file linked here -
https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/136kkn8

@lzgmc - could you please recommend a device firmware that would go well with this rom?
Currently, I am using DE2117_11_C.16 and the combination is completely unusable. Thankfully, this is not my primary phone so I could wait for this to get fixed.
Unlocked (DE2117_11_C.16)
Full C.16 update
https://android.googleapis.com/packages/ota-api/package/6be3f133f8fb9bbcc30d787679bd7b5da5e30995.zip

There was a problem with my N200 and it got fixed after a device reset. Sorry for the false alarm.
This ROM is quite stellar

Would you mind pointing me to the C23 firmware that I could download? I am seeing a lot of references to it but I couldn't find any download link to the firmware for N200.
Thanks

Sadly, the only way to get this firmware version (at least for now) is by taking OTA while running stock.

Other questions are, does it have OC and what about gapps? Gapps need installed or is preinstalled?

Maybe contribute to the developer and he can do it for ya, otherwise don't ask for things here thats not what this is for

Gapps is already bundled with the ROM. The kernel is with OC support. Yep, I'll try to maintain it as much as I can!
This is stock or go edition?
If stock, can you build go edition, cuz using stock my device is so slow, i want better performance
If you want better performance it is better that you buy another device. We are already lucky to have people who spend their free time so that we can have our old devices updated, those demanding and ungrateful comments demoralize the developers and do not want to continue as has happened with other developers.

Succes! Deleting the apk inside the SetupWizard folder, solved my problem. Thank you!
Edit 1: Skipping the setup wizard seems to broke some things:
1. Quickmenu, I can't pull it all the way down, long pressing any tiles doesn't take me to their option menu, notifications don't show up;
2. Lock Screen not working properly, it's set to "glide to unlock" but it just turns on, on the home screen. Can't change it either;
3. I'm unable to turn on the developer option;
4. Home button (but does wake up the device to the home screen) and App Switch button do not work;
5. Apps won't update or install trough Google Play
Restart or cleaning cache and dalvik cache doesn't solve any of this. This is all I've found so far.

Introduction:
This is the Official Lineage OS 18.1 thread for the Nexus 6.

If you don't follow these instructions, or use 3rd party add-ons (like Magisk) please don't expect support here.
Known Bugs:
IMS (VoLTE/Wi-Fi Calling) doesn't work on LineageOS 16.0 and above - it's possible this feature may return in the future, though it unlikely, due to severely outdated proprietary blobs.
Find any? Report them according to this guide.
Notes:
The only supported GApps package at the moment is MindTheGapps, linked on our Wiki page about gapps.

Nope! Builds are rolling right now!
Be prepared that:
1. Always backup your personal data&files
2. Upgrade from 17.1 may not succeed (that was the case here, booted to sim unlock screen and then rebooted etc)
3. LineageOS default e-Mail app is removed
Thanks for keeping Shamu alive
coming from 17.1 i installed 18.1 and am trying to update the google apps from the 18.1 download here: https://wiki.lineageos.org/gapps.html but im getting a signature verification failed msg. should i be getting that, proceed anyways? pretty sure i needed to update that google apps as i had the playstore on 17.1 and no idea what version of the google apps i used at that time

Seeing about the same as your 2.
I don't have a sim in it (not my main phone) but can't get in after inputting pin code... screen goes dark and then comes back to asking for pin code (as if lockscreen reboot).
No adb acces (since not pin unlocked) to grab a logcat.
Have a full twrp backup so did some tests :
* Tried deactivating pin in 17.1 before upgrading --> same issue (upon swipping up from lockscreen instead of entering pin)
* Tried fresh 18.1 install after data wipe --> works...
I am very pleased to see the next Android version coming to my N6. Thank you very, very much for your work!
But...

Than bothers me a bit. Having to re-setup every personal data and app is something I would rather avoid. Is there any chance that upgrading from 17.1 without loosing all data and apps will be possible in the near future? That would really be the icing.

Yes, absolutely so! But although I do make backups once a week, that won't spare the effort of installing and setting up all my apps, login credentials and personal data, if the upgrade does not keep those settings.
What about restoring just the data partition after a clean installation? Will that enable me to keep my apps and their data?

Read carefully the installation instructions - says which MindtheGapps file to use and it is the ARM build.
All clean re-installed and running good the only issue I'm seeing is on every reboot getting the error msg DM Config Update Keeps Stopping?
Also can someone tell me where the option to enable restart to recovery TWRP is at? I'm not seeing it in developer options anymore
Found it
System > Advanced > Gestures > Power Menu > Advanced restart
Installed after a full wipe, so far so good. Thanks for your hard work!
Another issue I'm seeing is photo edit keeps crashing when I try and crop or edit a photo
i tested the first built; its more smooth than lineage os 17; so amazing with 8 years old phone; thanks the author so much

Introduction:
ROMs in G8x would not be possible without the help of @SGCMarkus. Thanks again for all your help. SGCMarkus | XDA Forums (xda-developers.com)
This ROM is a continuation of the ROM from the other thread by @Cheese-ass. Details and changes are mentioned below :-
What’s fixed :-
Build is now SELinux enforcing
Adb sideload is fixed in recovery
Touch in recovery is fixed. (Don’t need button combos to get to recovery anymore)
Auto brightness during normal use and AOD has been improved.
Sound of speakers and in-call volume has been increased.
Security Update : 1st Oct 2021
Refer changelog in below posts for changes to new builds.
What’s not working :-
Fingerprint : We have spent many days trying to fix this and it has not worked out. This will not be worked on anymore. So don’t ask for fix. We need good developers for our phones who can fix these things. For those who want to try, you can see what I have done so far here :- https://github.com/enforc/android_device_lge_mh2lm-common/tree/FOD
Dual Display : This too has been worked on many times by many of us. Again will not be fixed for same above reasons.
Volte : Well if you know LG, this will never work.
HDMI through type C cable broken. (27/12/2021)
Instructions :-
Backup all your data.
Format Data in TWRP and flash the ROM.
Format data again and reboot to OS.
Then reboot back to recovery and flash whatever gapps and other zips you want using adb sideload or sdcard.
Use Gcam as all features don’t work in Lineage camera.

Great job!
Once Android 12 Pixel Experience is released is there any chance of the ROM being updated to Android 12?
I will give this a try soon (a few days or maybe a week) and report back if stuff doesn't work.
Edit: Bad wording that made me sound mean.
Edit 2: I will try this ROM starting on Wednesday 12th January 2022, I need to get my driving test and revision over and done with first.

thanks. sure, once a12 is stable enough imma go a12 based rom. im new to build & compile a custom rom and still learning how to make a good one.
feel free to give some feedback, and report some stuff
does this work for Xeria 1?
can u make one for Xperia 1 j9110 that would be of great help.
Many people like me are waiting for ROM for Xperia 11...
Does google camera work in this rom and can it be updated?
This ROM looks really good and it's nice to see that we have a custom ROM with current patches and passing SafetyNet test! Unfortunately, I really want to have as less Google software on my phone as possible, so Pixel Experience is not my way to go.
Could you also create a different style of Custom ROM like LineageOS, as the existing X5 ROMs did not get any update and their creator is rarely online? That would be an absolute dream, an actively maintained LineageOS with passing SafetyNet test.

Have you tried unlocking the bootloader?
Good ROM ! I 've flashed on my device and it works .(Xperia 5 Dual SIM J9210).
But I found some issues.
1.figerprint sometimes don't work until reboot.
2.NO VoLTE in CMCC.

No, I haven't tried it yet. It says that user need 'Unlocked Bootloader:Yes' status on Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status

You mean "Bootloader unlock allowed"? That means that it is possible to unlock the bootloader of your device but you still need to unlock. Maybe you want to provide a screenshot?
My device unlocked device is currently running LineageOS, so I unfortunately can't check what is written there as soon as the bootloader is unlocked.
But usually, if you don't unlock your bootloader, it is still locked. You also get a warning every time you start your device that it cannot be checked for corruption. If you don't see that message, you device is locked.

Xperia 5 J8210
Hi there, so as a newbie, I've got myself into a right mess!
I Wanted to enable Ethernet over USB but Android 9 that came with the phone doesn't support. I couldn't immediately see any standard custom roms so I compiled AOSP from scratch following the instructions on developer.sony.com. Flashed the resulting images across and it resulted in the phone not booting. I've managed to install TWRP but I'm unable to install any custom ROMs including PixelOS referenced in this thread. When I go to install in TWRP it always immediately fails with "Error installing zip file '....unofficial.zip'. When I put TWRP into ADB mode and use adb sideload the transfer fails immediately.
This is the same for any zip file I care to install. Any suggestions, I've a feeling something underlying is wrong, not least the opening statement in this thread which says "Make sure you come from Official Android 11.0 from Sony".
Oh boy... help would be most appreciated.
Many thanks.

Can you point to the C.23 firmware that is a requirement for this ROM?
I don't see that in the list of available firmware for N200.

Are you gonna make more updates to the core version or are you gonna focus on the gapps version now? And what’s the difference because I have the core version but there’s still gapps that can be turned off is it the same way with the gapps version? Also can I just upgrade to the gapps version?
can you use the same method as lineage upgrade os method to sideload this from los 19.1?

No lineage 19.1 is based on Android 11 stock firmware. You have to upgrade your stock firmware to Android 12 before flashing this build.

GAPPS version is the only one I'm supporting now (it just has a few extra apps installed).
The "Core" version was using flags for minimal GAPPS functionality. Builds without GAPPS would have been labeled "Vanilla" if I would have made it. I figure there's no point in supporting GAPPS and gappsless builds when GAPPS is easily disabled within the ROM.

I'm running these builds TMO C.21 firmware. C.23 specifically is not required, though that is what the vendor blobs are based on.

Did you flash the "copy-partitions" zip in recovery to make sure the c.23 firmware is on both slots?

Also, could you test to see if you have the same issue with LineageOS 20 or Pixel experience? Both of those are based on the same firmware.
I occasionally encounter this issue in recovery but haven't had it happen in the ROM

If anyone is prepared to do the legwork I have a firmware flashable zip with instal scritps from my op 7 pro which could be modified to flash the appropriate firmware to a n200...replace all the partition images, change the device checks etc. I'm not going to straight out attach it because I don't want anyone trying to patch an op 7 pro firmware file on their n200.
