Question Battery drain after update to 13.1 - OnePlus 10T 5G

Hi there
I always loved that my phone keeps 5-6 hours of screen on until I need to charge the phone. from the last update (android 13.1), I get 3-3.5 hours. how can I back to the previous version/ what I can do to improve it?
thanks!

If you cant see obvious app that drains battery, factory reset is the way to go

Prepare not to delete all my phone and start with backups

[Q] Battery Calibration (went wrong?)

Hi all,
I once asked why the battery life on my Hero was kinda bad (< 1 day with a full charge), and I did as was described in this post. I downloaded the Battery Calibration App, charged to 100% and pressed "calibrate battery", let it drain the next day , waited for phone to self-shutdown. Then I plugged it into the wall-charger. After a few minutes I switched the phone on again (while still connected to the charger), and immediately after it booted it said it had a battery percentage of 40%. Let it charge to 100%, and immediately when I started using the phone, the percents started to wear down again very quickly (>10% in an hour). Next day I booted into recovery and wiped cache and dalvik cache and battery stats, but battery life still goes down pretty fast. Did something go wrong here? If so, what should I do to prolong the battery life?
When I go to settings -> about phone -> battery, the 2 things I see at the top most of the times are visualizing/screen or wifi. A typical day for phone use for me looks like playing a little game, browsing, using tweetdeck etc at times when I'm bored or texting, so I use it a fair amount of time each day. I just installed JuiceDefender, gonna see that that'll bring me.
I run Elelinux 7.1.0 latest version.
greets,
Danny
i have not used the app yet, but i advice you unistall the app and using root explorer go to the /data/system/ and delete the batterystats.bin file and restart the phone and let it drain down completely and recharge and you should be fine

[Q] Battery Drainage

Hi, I've been having some problems with my Galaxy S2. About a week ago(maybe a day after flashing MIUI), my phone wouldn't boot normally, and only gave me a symbol which I ment battery overheated. Only way to start it up was CWM. So I did that for a few days, and then the battery drain would get really intense. It'd be at 100% for a few hours, and then suddenly it'd drop to 80% in a minute or two, and then it'd go normally down to 70% and then down to 40% in a few minutes, etc.
It wouldn't charge when I plugged it into the wall, either, and it's not possible to turn the phone off either, it just starts up again by itself and gives me the "YOUR BATTERY IS OVERHEATED/AT 80% BATTERY" error. But even if I plugged it in in that position, or actually running it wouldn't charge for a few hours, and then it'd start charging randomly for about 5 minutes. So after a full night of charging (8 hours) it'd get about 30% battery recovered.
I didn't really read into it any and just figured buying a new battery would fix it, but it didn't. It still won't charge properly and the drain is pretty intense still. And still gives me the overheat sign, and won't boot properly, etc etc..
The reason I haven't just tried flashing a different ROM is because I live at school where a 100-300mb download is impossible to pull off, and I won't be back home for over a month.
If this is too long to read, lol here's a summary:
Flashed MIUI
Battery won't recharge
Drains fast
Phone won't boot properly
Bought new battery, same problems
Live at a place with no proper internet connection to download a different ROM with.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be? The rom? Some rampant application running wild in MIUI? The phone?
Oh and also I've tried re-flashing MIUI, and clearing the cache, data, battery stats, etc etc.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Have you tried to flash back a standard rom?

[Q] Paranoid Android 3.0 Battery Problems!!!

Hi, I flashed Paranoid yesterday. Installation went fine and I spent the evening customizing it to my liking. I put it on charge overnight and woke up to find it completely drained of battery. I immediately put it on charge thinking it must have slipped out or something. I left it for an hour or so, turned my phone on to find it was at 4%!! Then, even though it was still on charge, my battery started going down then died again.
I have even tried again to find it was no more than 4%. It seems to me that the ROM is somehow causing it but I can't even restore the stock ROM that is backed up with CWM as I can't get past 4% battery!
Any help at all would be appreciated! I can't even use my phone

I had a similar problem.
When I connected my phone to the charger it said 0% battery and the phone would immediately turn off when i plugged it out.
So I removed my battery, waited a minute, put it back in and turned it on to see that it was at 100%.
There's a bug in the battery stats I presume...
I've bin on this ROM and had no problems with it. Did you do a full wipe ? Sig is a bit messed up but its solid ROM. Like post before pull battery out then reinstall with all the wipes. How old is the battery?

Tablet battery Draining drastically without use

For the last couple of weeks my tablet battery has been draining on its own. I unplugged it after a full charge and never once touched it to use it and about 14.5 hours later was at 3%. It seems to be going down around 7% an hour without use.
I have location services off
did a factory reset
When I go look at the battery stats it shows Android OS as the top one with about 61%.
Any suggestions? My tablet is almost useless now unless its plugged in or I turn it off every-time I put it down.
Thank you.

Redmi Note 4 (Mido) Battery Drain

No matter which ROM I flash, my phone's battery gets depleted over the night. I can't even see what's causing the drain as by morning the phone runs out of juice and gets switched off. The phone was running fine when I was using xiaomi.eu ROM. I recall flashing the latest firmware and an AOSP based ROM; since then the phone gets way too hot and battery drain ensues.
Right now I have ArrowOS (Android 11) flashed and face the same issues. I'm thinking about downgrading to the last stable firmware that's available here (https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/firmware/mido/) in the hope that it would solve the problem.
Is this safe? Is there any way I can solve the battery drain issue? Please help me!
P.S. My phone has stock kernel that came with the phone out of the box.

There really is no reason why this should happen on all custom ROMs.
So either your battery is dying or one of your apps is draining your battery

Try calibrating your phone's battery.
steps-
1. fully charge your phone keeping it switched off.
2. turn on phone and leave it on standby (DO NOT USE IT AT ALL)
3. after it switches off automatically, plug it in again (KEEP IT SWITCH OFF)
repeat this 2-3 times
Also, post your battery log
If this doesn't works, either your battery is faulty or its issue with motherboard

I used AccuBattery to check the health of the battery; it says almost 93% which seems unlikely because I used this phone for almost two years continuously. Surprising thing is I have a Redmi 1S as well which I bought six years ago. It keeps chugging along fine and doesn't have any battery drain issues. If it weren't for the 1 GB RAM and accompanying sluggish performance I would be still using that as my backup.
Anyway, I'm gonna do what you suggested and see if it works. How do I get the battery log?
In terms of battery life, Zeelog's Android 10 with Kernel 3.18 is the best choice, for example, I have about 1-2% loss in flight mode in 24 hours, inactive with WLAN about 3-6% in 24 hours.
Do a clean install.
