Hi there,
The response itself says that you have not allowed your oem to be unlocked. Turn on the Developer option, then enable oem unlocking and try again.

Unlock bootloader: "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)"

Hello
I've my code from sony website, to unlock bootloader.

"fatsboot devices" is ok, my phone is recognized.
But, fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xXXXXXXXXXXXX return: "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)"
Any ideas? maybe a driver problem? strange, I never had this kind of problem with Z1c or Z3.... (it have tried too with flashtool, same message...)

I got error when unlocking bootloader with flashtool (0.9.20.0)

I also tried with fastboot on commant prompt and got the same error.
And created a folder with my device's serial and put ulcode in it (folder is at flashtool/custom/mydevices) and got the error bootloader cannot be unlocked offically.
Rooting status in my device's service mode says unlock bootloader allowed:yes
My device is E6803

[Q] Allow OEM unlock

Hey guys, i have to send my Pixel C to repair so i want to lock my bootloader. My Problem is, that i cant enable OEM unlocking in the developer options because its grayed out saying that my bootloader is already unlocked. "fastboot flashing lock" and "fastboot oem lock" both give me the error "FAILED (remote: Enable OEM unlock is not set)". I already tried resetting, flashing various factory images and disabling the lockscreen.
Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks for your help!

How to lock back the bootloader?

After following the unlocking guide i was able to unlocking it without much hassle and crossflash my att v60 to EA. However, my fingerprint scanner does not work. I followed the same guide listed on the bootloader unlocking thread to recover the fingerprint scanner functionality but that didn't work. Reading a bit into the thread I found one of the guys was able to recover fingerprint functionality by relocking the bootloader back.
I've tried with fastboot oem lock and fastboot oem relock and they give me this mssg:
FAILED (remote: 'Unable to open fastboot HAL')
fastboot: error: Command failed
Any solution?
Fastboot oem unlock again. Notification your devices unlocked. After. You write Fastboot oem lock. Done. I need file QCN to help my phone
