How long does the O2 XDA battery can stand for ?

Dear all,
I am a new O2 XDA user and I have one stupid question would like to ask:
I was upgraded the ROM to ver 4.00.05 (PPC2003) and Radio ver 4.21.00
The problem is I saw the battery metter from Battery Pack 2003 v5.0.6 on my XDA only have 2h36mr when it is fully charged. Does it is correct stand by time for O2 XDA ?
p.s. My O2 is brand NEW and I saw one of my friend's XDA battery metter from Battery Pack 2003 v5.0.6 have 3h45mr when fully changed.
Thanks & regards !
Also with O2 XDA ROM 4.00.05 (PPC 2003), RSU 4.21.00 and Battery Pack 2003 ver 5.06 : when it's fully charged it show : 3h36mr ...
You better go back to O2 , your battery seems to have a problem !!!
Just wait!
The battery is a lithium-ions-battery. In a brand new device it doesn't have its full capacity. Just use it for some days, charge it when its empty and you will see, that the time for use is rising.
When I started with BatteryPack 2002 v3.7 I had 1h55m. Now it is up to 3h25m.
So just wait and you will see it:
Greetings,
Kaputter
OK... thanks for the reply so quick !
I will try few more days, hope the problem will solved ! :?

Limited battery life with Imate 1.72 Rom

hello. i own a qtek2020 of french origin and as i am a real rom'holic i use to upgrade to the latest versions either in french or english language.
With this last upgrade, something puzzles me: i normaly rely on SPB Gprs monitor's batterylife indicator to measure what energy is left in the battery. Since i have upgraded my device to 1.72 imate , the remaining indicated battery life has significantly shortened from 3 hours and something minutes talktime with a full charged battery to 2 and a half hours.
Does this mean that the battery life has significantly shorted with the 1.72 release or that SPB way of mesuring remaining energy is no more accurate with the new rom release. what also puzzles me is that i tried to switch the unit's battery for another brandnew one and i get almost the same reading.
IS this normal?
Which other precise batterylife indicating application do you use except maybe omega's one as it seems no to be fully compatible with my qtek2020.
Awaiting your suggestions, hints and answers, i remain
Brgds, Arnaud alias adhoc
don't have any problems with battery life.
I'm running i-mate 1.72 on my QTEK 2020 which has been through several updates (1.60, 1.66, orange SPV1000 rom, T-mobile 1.72 and finally i-mate 1.72).
I'm pretty satisfied with the battery life I have now.
I left my PDA with bluetooth turned on for the last 4H30 hours and got only a 4% loss of power, which means about 8% for a typical day in standby mode.
I am coming to believe that ALL SPB software has issues with 1.72 rom or specifically the Microsoft Service Pack 2 that is in the 1.72
I would suggest you remove all SPB software and see how your battery life is. Just check it in SETTINGS - POWER

May i ask you why you say this ( regarding the compatibility issues between SPB software and rom version 1.72)?
Did you have other bad experiences with some other piece of software. Do please elaborate, as i own, like other people on this forum, some other sotware titles from or released by SPB House.

newbee questions on qtek 1010

Good Day All,
I recently got a qtek1010 from a friend of mine who claimed not to use with ppc 2002 installed. I have some questions about it on the hardware and also upgrading.
1. Backup battery indicator always shows 25% even if i leave it charging whole night. Is the battery dead? What kind of a battery is that Is it an easy process to renew it?
2. My rom version is 3.18.04 rom date :05/22/03 radio verion 3.25.01 and protocol version 32S54. The radio reception of the phone is not satisfactory. If the signal is somewhat weak it is not possible to talk without interruption. May i have some improvement on reception if i upgrade to wm 2003 or 2003se? As far as i saw, all wm2003 versions in the kitchen are for specific operators. If i decide to update to wm 2003 which rom version should i use in order to get it work in Turkey?
I will be pleased if anybody can help.
Thanks

Is everyone else here on 7.0 and August security patch

Or is 7.1 out there and i never got it, also its pathetic that August security patch is the latest update. This is a flagship device and no updates, yet the A or E series has been updated.
Grab ARA2 with Jan patch from updato, also finally fixes the battery drain. Every one needs to run the BTU firmware on this tab as that sees updates 2 months ahead of other CSCs/countries.

I just checked mine and yes mine is on the Aug security patch. Check for update says I am up to date.
And apparently a patch came out. Was updated today to Jan 1, 2018 patch and still v7.0
And they just released February security Patch Oreo Note8 build...
Nope s till on august patch
Why does samsung not update their flagship, I already contacted samsung support and they told me they would get to the developers and release it soon. Why dont they release it!?

THanks!
Flashed BTU yesterday and did a factory reset as well. Hope the batterydrain is better now. Usually mine looses almost 2% per hour in standby.

Good question. I just unplugged mine at 100% and will take measurements at lunch and end of work day and try as hard as I can to not use it in between. Today should be a good day for this test.
8 hours later 89% left on battery.
Make sure your router DTIM is not 1 as it will trigger no sleep on some device's.
8am local time unplugged. Will leave it unplugged until 8am tomorrow as I'm pretty sure I won't need to use the tablet today.

I am connected to a Netgear Nighthawk 8300 and could not find a single reference to DTIM for my device. I'm certainly willing to change it if I can find where to do that.
Whoops forgot to check. 10am local time the next day down to 49% solely on standby after 26 hours. That is still close to 2% per hour. I am plugged back in as I may need to head off to a client site later this week.

[Galaxy A40] Battery discharging quickly with Pie - Solution or donwgrade to Oreo

Good afternoon,
I'm new to this forum and I don't know if I'm posting in the appropriate section. Please, relocate my post if necessary.
I'm quite a newbie regarding phone hacks but I can make my way through the various general processes related to phone updates.
I recently updated my Galaxy A40 to Pie (A405FNXXU2ASJ1, Oct. 2019) [update: after checking on the official Samsung website, I updated the original April version of Pie with the August update and the battery issue started aftewards] and the battery started discharging way faster since then. I'm really not satisfied with this issue and I would like to do something to solve or improve battery life.
I tried Package Disable Pro and disabled a few apps and packages, although I don't really know which services to disable exactly. I also added most apps to the standby app list in the developer options, but it didn't improve the situation as much as I expected. I used to charge my phone every 24 hours or so with Wi-Fi on all the time, no Bluetooth or NFC.
Would anyone have an idea to get a similar battery life (charge once per 24 hours) or explain to me how to restore Oreo (downgrade or flash).
Thank you very much for your help
