ORA Car Charger for HTC TyTN - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Accessories

Dear all,
I've found the car charger mentioned in object on expansys.com, but before to order it, I'd like to understand if it works with the new HTC Tytn.
Is there anybody has bought this accessory for Tytn to give me a feedback :?:
Thanks a lot
Ciao, Cesare

hello you're right to ask before buy it because some people have problems with classical usb car charger when they used it with tytn.
I'm waiting feedback too !
Cheers
Tom

I have an original charger car charger for the 9100, any ideas if this works with the TyTN
Cato

I'm using an iGo car charger with tip A53 (which I believe is the same for all HTC devices). It works great

Hi Cesare,
Is this something like this: http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=123774 ??
I'd like to use this one with my 4mm cable to charge both, my TyTn + my GPS BT mouse.
Thanks,

Wallaby and S100 compatibility ?

Hi ppl, have external GPS for Wallaby which cable connects to the port on the bottom of the wallaby, since Im considering the buying of the Qtek S100 maybe someone know is the connector on the bottom compatible so I can use GPS on S100 too ?
Tnx !
Looks bad.
As much as i know, the S100 has just USB-Interface, and not serial as the Wallaby. Only Bluetooth GPS-Receivers will work....
Stefan
My hands was faster than brain, later I ve checked connectors and found same thing you told Stefan, sorry !
Anyway that S100 has gone before I layed my hands on it (already sold) so now I have offer for 2020. Checked pictures, connector looks the same as in 1010.
Same question, does anyone know are they compatible, intend to use GPS and travel charger from 1010 on 2020...
Thanks and sorry for bothering guys ! BR !
No problem.....
And yes, you´re right Wallaby and Himalaya has the same connector. So they are compatible and you can use your GPS with it.....
Stefan
Thank you Stefan, you are an (blue) angel
Best !

HTC Tytn and GPS BT-338

Hi All,
Does anybody know about a compatibility problem between TyTn and BT-338? This GPS was working fine with my previous PDA (Qtek 9090). With my new TyTn I simply cannot connect them
Any ideas are welcome!!! Thx!

I'm using that same BT-338 with my TyTN. It works flawlessly, can't praise it enough. It took abit to get the proper settings but I got mine working with it.

And for points of accuracy, the TyTn is different than the Titan...

Then again, maybe not. For some reason the phone insits on dialing the last dialed number when the usb thingie is connected. This morning it just kept dialing on its own for no reason, really weird.

I have one too, but if found the Headphone you get with the RC-E100 less copfertable than the original ones you get in the Topaz's box.
I tried several headphones and got to the conclusion that the best ones are Sennheiser MXL51 (they have a nice feature - you can plug-out an additional cord so you don't have a really long cord dangling from them).
I have the RC E100 too and confirm it does work fine with the Topaz. I can't understand why they make the cables so long though. It takes me 30 minutes to untangle it whenever I use it

It's long because the remote also contains a microphone for the handfree and the cord has to be long enough for it to reach your face.

Does it work well with the TouchFlo music player, or only with Windows Media Player?

It works well with TouchFlo and Windows Media Player.
One word of warning though - if you use TouchFlo Detacher, it will only work on Windows Media Player (NOT TouchFlo).....
