Hey guys,
Last week I buy an 1500 mAH Battery (CS) for my Herald.
Included today I worked 5 days with my Herald (WLAN , Phone, SMS, Calender..) and I have 28% Energy
Good Performance....
Whats your experience with the 1130mAH Battery? Do you have other Battery tested (bigger than 1500?)
Thanks Oliver
Where did you get the battery from?
Battery Saler
Here:http://cgi.ebay.de/HTC-P4350-HERALD...0489001QQihZ015QQcategoryZ75446QQcmdZViewItem
or Here:http://search.stores.ebay.de/WORLD-...sooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftsZ2QQsaselZ196004655QQsofpZ0
After 6 days of (intensive) using I charge my Herald at the moment....

No, you won't lose data
And this is not due to the pda, this was a 'feature' from WM2003
WM5 and WM6 both have the data/settings stored on a rom chip which doesn't lose its data when you soft-reset.
Are these batteries reliable? Don't want to have them exploded in my pocket! Has anyone already ordered?
Do these larger batteries fit with the original battery cover?
HERE is a 2400 maH Battery.
But It's a larger Backcover...
Thanks for the tip ... ordered one of these to compensate for running BatteryStatus.
5 days !! thats crazy talk !!
i get 2 at most on mine.
is this battery the same as the one you have?
http://www.gizmos2go.com/xcart/product.php?productid=8625
That's the one I ordered, but I haven't received it yet. They don't tell you when they're out of stock on their site.
cool rob, let me know how it is when it arrives.
why is that guy getting 5 days of charge?
Bought one too
After reading the first very positive post about the 1500mAh battery, I've got one myself too. Unfortunately I am quite disappointed. The life seem to be the same or even worse than the original battery to me
Just GSM eats about 3-4%/8h but when I turn the device on I can see the percents going down anxiously fast even with the backlight on the first level
Got the 1500mAh battery this past Friday. So far, looks like I'm getting at least two days, maybe a little more between charges. Pretty much what I'd expect given the modest increase in amperage. Overall, I'm pleased given that it only cost about $30.
Hi there, I'm using the 1500 battery since monday and can't say that I see any difference to the standard 1150- no breakthrough and I don't see how to get over two days with normal use
what about the 2400 maH battery. Are there any benefits of getting that or not? (other than making your phone feel and appear heavier)
Where did you find a 2400 maH battery? And will any accessory for the P4350 work for my T-Mobile branded "Wing"?
Can anyone comfirm that the 2400 battery will come with the cover for the T-mobile Wing?
Please let me know... I will like to have one

There is a guy on ebay selling a 3000 mah battery for the wing with the blue cover. It looks large to me but if you need the extra power it may help. On ebay search for "wing battery". I think his seller id was nakedcellphone or something similar.

here is a 2400 from boxware. what people should also let people know is what their overclock settings are and what people consider normal use. Im always on my phone texting or doing something.
Hi All,
I was wondering if it is possible to use a battery for the Hero with higher mAh value so that it lasts longer? The stock battery is just 1350mAh while I have seen a thread in which someone was using a 2400mAh battery on an HTC Dream!! If that is possible on Hero as well, it'd be a biiiig WOWWW!!!
Any comments??

Yes it is always possible but you take the risk of voiding your warranty + running higher temperature. I used to have 2x capacity battery in my previous HTC phones and they all end up bloated after some time.
So, it is not safe at all!!?? I would love to have a longer lasting battery though Mine is not too bad looking at how much I use my phone... but needs charging everyday and I don't have WiFi on. I would like something that needs charging at least every other day.
The standard size 1550mAh battery looks good but it doesn't seem much more powerful than the hero's stock battery. How much of a difference would it make? Or it designed more to be a replacement than an upgrade?
It's about 15% higher capacity that the original, so that will equate to at best a 15% longer battery life. If the stock battery barely gets you through the day, I'd say it's an upgrade!
I had a Mugen power battery for my HTC Shift, and it was great. I think I'll invest in the 1550mAh version as it will just give me that little bit more juice, and won't affect the form factor of the phone - the large battery will make it far too bulky IMHO and for the price I can get 2.5 1550mAh versions!
Regards,
Dave
Don't forget your Mugen Power Coupon Codes, I just saved 5.00% on my purchase.
Current working code: 5OFF2010
Enjoy
If that is no longer valid just google for a new code, that show I got mine

The big question is, DOES it really last 2 x longer
will it work with the TILT2 from ATT in the US?
Bulky
yeah i understand it 2x capacity meaning two standard 1500mAH battery combine to = one 3000mAH battery.
Have you seen any battery that the same size as the standard battery but offering at least 20% more battery life?
It's not the same size, it has another cover and the size is almost double...

Seidio 1750mah is about as close as you're gonna get.
This will not work with the US-version of the phone.
2000mAH for less than $10 including shipping and it is std size.
I have been using this battery for the past 2 weeks and can say that I get alot more out of it in a day despite some heavy use.

Just took the plunge, ordered two of these as well. The seller seems to be very reputable. Will post when the two arrive that I ordered.
Just ordered 2 as well (And I live in HK so I may very well get it before you ehehe )
Given the price it's worth a try. The seller looks serious, but it's very possible we end up with a lemon battery which doesn't perform much better thna the original one (Again given the price it wont be a terrible loss...)

Stupid question, but this will work with a US Tilt 2 right? Are all TP2-Tilt 2-Rhodium batteries interchangeable?

You can check their website, there are batteries for each type of TP2 (Sprint, or HTC original, etc, etc). I don't know if the shape actually differs but it's the same price and this way you are 100% sure to order the right one
I am a bit pissed off, ordered 3 days ago and though I live in HK it has still not been delivered...
Just got it
Charging
So far so good (89% after 10 hours and I receive a decent number of push emails)
Is there a way to charge a battery without the phone ?

This cradle (http://cgi.ebay.com/New-USB-Sync-Cr...wItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item2eab91cae4) will charge your second battery. Works well for me.
The reason why i bought this battery is because i wanted to end my work shift with at least 20-30 percent(on a single battery) f obattery left to make phone call if needed, extend my phone usage away from a charger and longer web searching and the Andida 2000mAh didn't help at all. The result
OEM Battery 1500mAh: listening to music from 4 to 1am = 10% battery life left
Andida 2000mAh: ran 3 test each time my phone ended up dying around 11:30-12:00 this battery is not 2000mAh it somewhere around 1100-1300 it make an good back up battery but not an good extended battery.
I well be running some more test, like how long it last on 3G compared to the OEM battery but as of now i see theres no need to.
If you need an extra battery this is worth the money, but if you need an extended battery its not.
I got mine about 2 weeks ago. Haven't seen anything Earth-shattering as far as performance under normal use, but I watched a 2 and half hour movie on the device yesterday and it only went down to 50%.

i listen to alot of music etc etc daily when im at work so that when i would be able to see if its really a big change. I always end the night with about 10 percent of battery life.
Not terrible
I'm using a pair of these, with an external charger. I don't see that they provide a lot of advantage over the original HTC 1500Ma battery that came with my TP2, but they are an acceptable substitute.
One thing to keep in mind - I think they are heavier than the stock batteries. They are advertised as LiPoly, but I think they are LiIon.

It's under $10. Even if it's only as good as the stock battery it is well worth the money considering the stock one costs about $40. Even an OEM off eBay is as much as $16.

for an extended battery it not, i was looking for extended battery life without having to switch to another battery but this battery didnt do its job 2000mAh i don't think so its at least 1100-1300 i notice my battery died faster even on normal usage compared to the OEM. I honestly had enough of it :\... about to add some MM to my TP2 and get a bigger battery.

You are using the US T-Mobile version, from what I can see in the pix you posted; the only one available is the Mugen 3200, it runs about $79. I have not considered it because it really makes the back of the phone stick out. And it is expensive.
I buyed an used Touch pro 2. so i dunno how was the OEM battery when it was new. When i replaced with this 2000 mAh it nearly double up the battery life. From my site there is full satisfaction.

Aside from the poor English in your post, there's no way a 2000mAh battery is giving you double the battery life or even close to it. It is only 33% higher capacity than the stock battery.

Hi
i have the 3500 mAh battery, and have some questions about it:
1. why in the capacity it shows only 1650 mAh and not 3500?
2. i feel the battery ends the same as a default 1650 mAh battery.. how possible?
3. sometimes i feel my phone is hot! i saw one time it was 42* C! is it dangerous?.. and why its getting hot?
dont know how much this application is accurate, hope yes : )
thanks!
Does your galaxy s2 also get frozen after the battery supposedly discharges? If you keep it until the OS thinks its at zero it will freeze with the screen staying on and sometimes eve nsound playing until the battery really duschrges?
Because a lot of (cheap) non-genuine batteries end up a long way under the rated capacity printed on the outside. You get what you pay for - stick with genuine batteries, you'll get what's printed on the outside.

Use an original Samsung 2000mAh battery, it actually last longer.
Those mAh said by others are fake, and those batteries could even damage your phone by being more and more big with hot and so on. Don't use them, it's just a waste of money

Ok guys, I have it now for more than 2 weeks. Up to now, I'm pretty happy. With regular usage, it can stand for full 2 days.
With intensive use, I consumed the battery within 10 hours with more than 6 hours screen time.
Today, I didn't use the phone much. I removed it from charger at 8:00 am and it's at 94% as of 17:00 pm. Of course this has to do with the rom I use as well. Thickening the phone, yes, but you can forget to constantly looking for a charger during the day.
I don't expect the same performance for more than a year maybe but I have 2 for half the price of 2000mAh original battery.

Hmmm...... I was thinking about buying one of those, what do you recommend ?
Go with the official 2000mAh with extended back cover (the only way it comes) or go for a 'branded' alternative like Anker. Steer clear of anything that 'says' it's Samsung on eBay, and avoid at all costs any replacement that is covered by a gold sticker.......

Of course it's a risk to use uncertified accessories but my phone is now 3 years old. I did not want to spend much money to it as I'll replace it in a couple of years anyway. So, I don't bother whether this battery harms my phone - which is not very likely actually.
If you think the same way, then I'd suggest it.
