Problem with WMx - G4

Hello there,
I'm having difficulty to add any event in any ROM installed of WM in the calendar to 29 March 2007...
Is it just me or there's a bug on WM5/6 Calendar?

Fixed it... hard reset it... leave regional settings in US.

One day difference on all dates?

Hi, I just got my qtek 8500 and wanted to sync my contacts from outlook. But after using ActiveSync (4.1.0) all of the birthdays on my smartphone are off by one day, when in outlook the dates are still correct!! I tried playing with the regional settings but that didn't help me. Please help......
Check the clock settings, as there is an option for the timezone under the screen that allows you to set the time.
I have checked the options, the timezone is exactly the same as on my desktop computer, but the birthday dates are ALL shifted by one day (all remaining calendar entries are correct!)
Any clues ?

Everytime I reboot my phone it screws up the time and data generally I lose 8 hours from the correct time it was set at before reset.
I have it set to Enable Autoupdate and it is set to the correct time
Hi, I've this problem too. So how can I solve this problem ?
Is it maybe a problem in the ROM ? Maybe can an update solve the problem ?
Thx in advance for help !
I "solved" it by disabling the "Automatic Time/Time zone" setting. (In Settings - Clock & Alarm - Date and Time)!
But I still had to manually remove all the duplicate entries...
that is normal you can test this on every windows mobile device (new and old version). it is a work by design error from MS.
the format in that the date will be saved is the problem but there is no way to change this.

Caution: WM6/6.1 ROM does not Sync with Exchange SSL

The WM6 / 6.1 ROM available online will not allow syncing of mail, contacts, calendar, etc with Exchange SSL. Seems to be related to installed certificates / security config of ROM.
So if these things are important to you (this is the main reason I have a PDA), you should consider waiting for a Gene WM6 that does not have this serious shortcoming.
I wasted a lot of time trying to get this release to work - so have other people. It is only fair that persons downloading this ROM know about this problem before they also waste their time.
Tried latest WM6.1 ROM - Still does not work :-(
Still getting activesync error 80072F06.
Any Workaround?
So, there's no way to work around this? I just bought a brand-new HTC Touch Cruise and the preinstalled ROM is having this SSL certificate issue, so I can't synchronize. Downgrading is not an option for me, since there are no older ROMs available for this model.
What to do?

Has anyone fix the sync problems with secured Exchange?
I have actually tried all the 6.1 ROMS and none of them sync with Exchange Server over a secured link.
No problem when I revert to WM5.
The problem seemed to be related to IMAP for us. Here is what we did:
- Enable the MS Exchange IMAP service (we had disabled it)
- In Exchange System Manager, under the server in Protocols, go into "IMAP4" properties, and in the Access tab click the Certifcate... button and add in the same certificate that is configured for the HTTPS website.
- Open port 993 (IMAP4 SSL) in our firewall to our Exchange server.
We don't know what combination of the 3 is the actual fix, but we know that WM6.1 Exchange email items were failing miserably to sync before, and now they are syncing again.

Calendar Appointments Showing Up 1 Hour Earlier

I have a user who's Eris has a recurring appointment that shows up 1 hour earlier than it's scheduled to be. He's syncing through Exchange and the appointment shows up at the proper time in Outlook, just not on his phone.
Manually changing each event works but if you try to change the entire series it stays at the incorrect time.
The originator of the appointment won't be back until next week otherwise I would have her delete the meeting and resend it. Any thoughts on what might be going on? All of his other appointments are on time. This seems to be the only one.

Maybe the time zone or DST is off on his phone?
I have the same problem as this with an HD2 running a Desire Android build (MDJ FroYo Sense Clean v. 2.4 [kernel: MDJ S6.1)
I have used HTC Sync to sync my Outlook calendar and contacts to my HD2. This is all OK but the appointment times in both Android and HTC sense calendars are showing as 1 hour early, i.e. Appointment with real start time of 10:00 shows as 09:00.
My time settings all appear to be OK, GMT+0, London for UK. Time is correct. Auto update is enabled and working.
What is more weird is that I have installed the Android version of Pocket Informant, as I use this in WM6.5.x mode, and this shows the times correctly.
I've searched forums for solution and found many fixes for incorrect GMT settings or DST problems, but these do not seem to fit with this issue as Clock times appear to be OK.
Not sure if this is a problem with this build, or a more general Android problem.
Any thoughts gratefully received.

Well, better than and hour late ;-p

Calendar updates

My google calendar and outlook 2007 both have calendar events going back to february, but my phone has only been updated from May. So none of my past events are on the phone for february, march and april. Can I fix that?
I've already done a clear data in application management and it resynced, but still didn't give me the full amount of previous events.
I searched for an option to sync past events but don't see it. Someone else may be able to point the option out if it exists.

ICS Office 365

Hello,
I use Office 365 (exchange 2010) for my mails, contacts end calendar. The problem with this that I can't add my account in the standard rom or any other gingerbread or ics rom. Miui seems to be the only solution.
So my question is as followed, can someone advice an ICS rom that has activesync for Office 365 working?
PS: I know the problem is because of the administrator and wipe rights and I know that 3th party apps could offer a solution but I chose not to usr them.
Thanks in advance
