I found that my new x01ht include the video button calling, however, when I click it, It's show the keybad in the screen but does not have the function video calling. And also in the top, I could not see the 3G notification, but it only shows the U notification
Is there any thing wrong with my phone?

Did you let it run the preconfiguration? I think those features are added after the phone boots for the first time after a hard reset. (When you finish the stupid WM5 configuration wizard, the phone should come up with a message like "Configuring, Wait 3 seconds". If you pressed the reset button before this preconfigure script runs, you would be missing certain features such as the "3G" icon.

I also thought about that but currently I don't know how to unhinde/unlock then \Extended_Rom folder. I don't want my x01ht run Extent Rom installation due to my x01ht is newest and can not sim unlocked.
If someone have the cabs file in x01ht extended_rom folder, could please send?

I only install the x01ht extend rom cab file and It's work. I think you can install again the cab files that sent by pof

You download the x01ht extrom that pof sent.
Extract it and copy the cab files to your phone, run the cab files in order like Config.txt file.

can anyone still running the original japanese rom on x01ht share the manner mode executable with me? i don't recall the exact name of that file but i think it was like manner_mode.exe you can find in windows directory.
i had it backed up when i made the rom switch to tytn but i somehow lost it. appreciate it if you could reply to this with that file attached.

It's definitely not on the extrom... I've converted a half dozen X01HTs from Japanese to English, and not been able to restore that function. Thanks for the links to the dumped ROM; that should help me get some of the softbank special stuff back...

i realized that you might be right saying that it's on the extrom. i recall that it was not a rom file and it was a file copied into the windows directory. i think that means it was installed by one of the sb cab files on the extrom. the only cab file i did not execute was PT_SIMlock_Empty.cab.

I think it's not on this one, this just adds the "annoying screen" for simlock protection by software. If you install this then you need to install SB_USIM.cab to remove the annoying screen.

I agree - I still have the unnerving feeling that some of the content in the extrom actually points to executables somewhere in the ROM. Bad band-aid type code, but what would you expect..? I think I saw similar on the i-mate extrom where it tried to execute parts of the standrard rom after a cold reset..

i don't exactly remember the file name but i think the one you saw is the one i am looking for. it's not the "flight-mode" that turns the radio off but it is the same as the "silent-mode" and turns the vibrator on.
you can turn on the vibrator by opening the comm manager and tap on the vibrator icon, but this small exe file i am looking for does the same by just press and holding the comm manager button. when that is on, an icon sits in the tray. not a big deal but it's convenient.
i'll check the dumped rom pof advised.

heya, I noticed a whole lot of useless programs that I dont use from the ext. rom that ships with the cingular 8525..
I know from my previous phones I'm able to hardboot and when that message comes up.. something like "installing custom components in 3 seconds.." one would do a softreset and that installation shouldnt come up again right?
well I was wondering what cab files were needed so I can install only the needed ones.. ie mms/wifi setup files, etc.

Dunno if you ever got your answer, but I can guarantee you that when I get mine tomorrow, it's one of the first things on my list of things to do. I know that 90% of the crap that Cingular puts on there I have no need for..
If someone figures this out let us all know. i too wanna try to play around with some other ROM's to see which works best with my configuration.
I upgraded from a TyTN to the Cingular ROM
I did the reboot thing so that I did not get the "value-add" stuff from Cingular after I let it do its normal thing. What I found out was that if I did not do the reboot thing, the "value-add" stuff from Cingular changed the keyboard mapping so that I could not figure out what keys the special characters were on. When I hard setup again, I rebooted and the keyboard works great. The only thing is, you have to put in all the information in the connection menu.
There's 2 times that the 3 sec screen pops up.
Does the keymapping work correctly if you let the first one run and do the reset before the second one?
Well I just tried my suggestion above and everything works great.
I let the first install run, and then just after the second 3 sec. pop-up window, I reset.
Then I used Total Commander to install everything but GetGood, ExpressMail, MobileTV, and TelNav.
I ended up with more user memory.

Do you have the before and after memory numbers by chance I would like to see them if you do?
the keyboard setup is done in the first 3 second customization.. those cabs are in the windows folder.. the 2nd customization is the cingular stuff from the ext rom

What was the "other stuff" you had to self install? I am contemplating this procedure but am not sure if it gives me enough storage space to justify a hard reset and reinstall of everything?
ok right now i'm running the love rom on my g4 wizard. how do i reflash my original cingular rom? i know, it sounds like a nub question but here is the problem. it will flash then hang at 80% and the progress bar will turn red. it will then pick up again and continue to 95% then turn red, fail and say error 326 invalid command. i downloaded the updater directly from htc.
any ideas guys?
Yeah it doesnt work....Your now stuck with the Wizard Love Rom or you can upgrade to another rom but you cant go back to the original Cingular Rom.

That ROM is for a G3 Wizard, Check your PM's
ok i reflashed with your method and i'm back to my cingular rom. thanks a lot!
(big reason to go back was it was the only rom that my school's wifi app would work with, plus the love rom in combo with orwells wm6 wasn't cool. that splash was ugly IMO)

All you have to do is download and install the Ext Rom cabs manually. This may still be available on the ftp. If not PM me.

Thanks a lot ercave1, the ROM flashed flawlessly, however the EXT ROM didn´t came up by itself. The features I´m missing are as follows:
1.- USB switch to select activesync mode to serial or RNDIS is missing, regardless this USB sync to PC (Activesync 4.5) is alive and working well.
2.- ClearVue pdf is missing, not a big loss and I really don´t care since there´s another alternatives to read and diisplay pdf documents.
3.- GetGood and in general all connection settings! I don´t give a s**t!!
4.- MIDlet Manager, big loss... I´m going to keep trying to download Risidoro_Intent_MIDlet_ Manager_V11 whenever the ftp be up and running again. So no worries.
5.- Voice Speed Dialing Settings icon in both the Program ans Setting screens are missing, however the software is running when I press the known VSD button.
6.- Cingular carrierlogo! I don´t care I have my own logo.
And I guess that´s it !
Regardless the comments above, I´d like to learn how to "extract" the correspondent EXT ROM cab files, if you guys have and advice on it would be great.

Yes, this is because the Ext Rom was wiped out by the G3 Rom having been flashed on your G4 devices. I don't remember reading about a fix for this, but you may want to search through the forum. The only solution I'm aware of is to install the Ext Rom manually.

I enumerated the options since each have its own reason
1- Use Winrar to open RUU.exe and use typhoonnbfdecode.pl to extract the 10MB file (0xA00000 bytes) of the extended rom from nk.nbf
2- oops, same as 1 (and its nk.nbf- not nk.nba). hehe, my mistake
3- use pdocread.exe to read BDTL1 - or TRUEFFS_DOC1 (use my Wizard Service Tool as it can be done with a few clicks )
4- Unhide extended_rom and use Active Sync to copy the files to PC (or, once again use my tool to do the same )

I've been reading through these forums for a few days now and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Basically, I want to be able to listen to my 8125 through stereo bluetooth headphones. As I understand it I need to enable A2DP. I've seen a lot of topics on the G3 side of things but before I try anything I would like to confirm which ROM I need for a G4 to make this work.
I have the tools package and ruu_480 package that should build a new ROM while leaving the IPL/SPL alone in my CID-Locked 8125. So I think all I need is the .nb portion that enables A2DP. And, if I've read everything correctly, I should be able to use typho5 to extract the proper .nb piece I need for this from whatever ROM I eventually get.
So, the short version of this is: What ROM do I need to get to enable A2DP on my CID-Locked 8125 G4? And what piece of that ROM, specifically, do I need to include in a cooked ROM?

WM6 MB edition have A2DP included on ROM. I have it running on my 8125 CID locked.
connect your phone w/ activesync, when its done click explore. drag and drop these 2 files to that folder. Go to you phone and click file explorer from programs. If u dont see those 2 files at the bottom then click the My documents folder and u should see them there. click a2dpfix.cab 1st and when it installs reset your phone(tiny reset button next to your camera button) repeat with other file and reset again. Install your headphones and u should see a new profile....stereo headset...make sure thats clicked and setup your BT normally. thats pretty much it.

Cingular 8125 with Jabra BT620s.
After applying the files gotten off this thread, Jabra works well with Cingular 8125, except that the audio occasionally drops out for a couple of seconds. Anyone know of a fix for this?

Oh...sorry 1 more thing, once you download them onto your mogul what do you have to do to get them to work because I have tried something similar before and the files are on my MOGUL but nothing changed in apearance? Thanks again

on that video it shows everything being saved to the memory card. How do you do that? because it always just automatically saves all my programs to the main memory? In that video, what is it even doing? Everything is going so fast I can hardly tell what is going on. Thanks
I just tried everything you said and followed that video and it doesn't seem to work. Everything still looks the exact same. If I go from the bottom to the top of the screen with my finger or stylus the program comes up but only after an error comes up that say ERROR RADING FILE and then it says an error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found. I click OK and the program opens but then when i try to start assigning things it wont let me save because the same error come sup. I transferred all three using activesync and extracted the files CUBE(SCLP) download and then disconnected, went to my MOGUL and installed everything and then followed the steps on that video. The today screen never changed its appearance. I tried a restart and everything. Does anybody have any ideas???????? THANKS

If I go from the bottom to the top of the screen with my finger or stylus the program comes up but only after an error comes up that say ERROR RADING FILE and then it says an error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found. I click OK and the program opens but then when i try to start assigning things it wont let me save because the same error come sup. I transferred all three using activesync and extracted the files CUBE(SCLP) download and then disconnected, went to my MOGUL and installed everything and then followed the steps on that video. The today screen never changed its appearance. I tried a restart and everything. Does anybody have any ideas???????? THANKS

did you put the cube files in application data? thats they only way itll work

For me a stop having probleme with the WM 6.1 and cube when installing vista-cube .cab that also contain touch flo. I run and older version tha the one ''Vista suite'' I tried hard to make this in OEM package to include in option in DCD kitchen taht i customized a bit but for now i run it from cab version. ...
ok so i followed the instructions and set it up just like the vid, went back to the today screen and no different home screen. I went to choose touch flo, and it pops up as already running. Can someone help me please
