I use the S9 from Motorola. Somewhat expensive but the sound quality is amazing. Just make sure you put on the correct size ear buds (comes with 3 sizes) to get a good fit.

Seems like this one comes very highly recommended:

or
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp...1&template=pp4_1_1&zone=pp&lm=pp4_1&pid=10394
Seems like there is a 40sec pausing issue with 8525's (not the headset) that has been addressed with a patch from some of the smart folks on this website.

hmm, I don't know of any BT stereo in ear set with a detachable 3.5 jack other than the OMIZ.

This one, Motorola S9, have control buttons, call buttons, and that stuff, like the HT820 one?

The Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970 works marvellously for me

Wizard Headphone

Hi There,
Does anyone know, is the XDA lli or lls headphone compatible with Wizard?
they all work I think my sony ericsson one does too.
Finally I have tested it. XDA IIs headset is not compatible with the XDA mini S Pro.
-MIC is not working
- Left Earpiece is not working as well.
Hello,
I wonder is there anyone using other good headset build-in mic rather the original ugly headset that provided.
I guess is hard to find a very nice and compatible headsets.
Need your opinion.
Thanks.

[Q] Best way to stream music to older stereo receiver?

Have the Viewsonic G-Tab and finally got my music library loaded, and I am now looking to stream music from the tablet to my basic stereo receiver/speaker setup - currently the receiver doesn't have any wifi, bluetooth, etc capabilities. Just the old red wire/white wire connections.
Does anyone have a recommended accessory to stream music to it, via wireless, bluetooth or otherwise? I do have an Apple Airport Express, but it doesn't seem like that is a viable option.
Thanks!

it can be easily done ..
If you want to go wired, then just use the headphone output of your gtab to the stereo RCA input on your receiver.
Can be found at any dollar store or pick it up from ebay for $1 shipped

If you want to go wireless, you will need to use a BT adapter, connect it to the above cable (instead of directly using the gtab), then connect the gtab to it using bluetooth.
Here is one that is $20 shipped.
Hope that helps,
Best FM transmitter ever. I have had 2 of them in the last say 5 years. My original I gave to my parents when they got an android phone. But my wife got a new car with no aux port on it, so I picked up another one.

the nokia look like they don't surround your ear but instead rest on your hear.. also, they look like they would have less bass than the sony ones but you'll need to compare driver diameters to find out for sure.
the nokia's are wireless (bluetooth) and the sony's aren't. so there's a big difference there. something equivalent to the nokia though is the Sony DR-BT50 as it's also wireless and has your AVRCP buttons and call features. i have the dr-bt50's and they're awesome.

Hmmmm , nice headphones there . I'll take a look into them . Hmmm does it offer wires as well ? The nokia offers them . However the sound of that of BT-50 might win that of nokia's . Will try soon

Headphones With Mic?

The Atrix headphones that came with the phone work fine. Including the Microphone, But its not so great quality in sound.
I've purchased an apple headset with a microphone... And I can confirm it does not work.

true, no controls work, but i thought the OP was just talking about the mic
and i dont think it works great, some people have complained they cant hear me. but they do that when im talking directly into the handset as well
Get the ibeats By Dr. dre they are a little expensive but worth every penny =)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X9-hF77gVo
Yes they sound great.
But what we want to know is if the controls work with the Atrix!
well the mic does work but not the controls =(
I just received these today............I like the sound, and they'll be just what I need for 2-3 hour flights.
Also, tested the mic out by calling my wife, and it works great too!
Motorola Behind-the-Neck Bluetooth Stereo Headset Black Bulk (S9-HD) - OEM
All the controls work also!
Do we need the 3.5mm plug type or the headset with the micro usb connector in order to use the controls?

Fiio e06 vs e07 vs e11...please share your experiences

Hi!
I was hoping to get feedback for those if anyone has tried them with the Ultra.
I find the ultra lacking in power and dynamics so...I ordered the e06 and will be here soon but then got thinking maybe the e11 was better or maybe even the dac/amp combo of e07.
Mainly I will be using a TDK IE800 and later a regular size headphone like maybe a Sony MDR-XB700 if I can find one for a good price or maybe I will go with with an AKG ...not sure yet.
Thanks for any comments!

Fiio E18. Takes the DAC out of the phone and into a offboard headphone amp.

I tested it last week at CES and it works well--with all audio tested (Youtube, Rdio, local via Walkman).
I got the E6 and E11 coming to test at home..just amps of course. If that does not make me happy then I will try the E18 but I do like the super compactness of the E6

Roger that. I've got the E06 and it does well. It certainly puts more power and bass. My favorite is the E07k because it also allows me to tone down the treble (if, for instance, I have my Audio Technicas connected--they're very bright), but bring up the bass (the open ATs need a little push).
Do you know if there is anyway to change the headphone out of the Ultra to like line out or something that is not double amplified basically..not sure if I am being clear
