EDIT: There are multiple VoIP cabs that have to be installed to get VoIP on Majik to run. The application errors if they are not all installed.

I have upgraded my ROM to HTC official ROM and install your Advanced Configuration tools. However when I tried to activate it, it gives an error message and ask me to quit the software. Error message is as below:

error when loading commmanager settings
ok, this is what I did. (I know I shouldn't have, but I did anyway)
Opened the Advanced Configuration Tool, went to the Comm Manager settings and although I had a 8 button manager, selected the 9th button as a new item ot on the existing list.
My comm manager hasn't changed and is working fine, but I am not able to launch the ACT (Advanced Configuration Tool) and it errors out when loading Comm Manager Settings with the following error.

This should be due to an incorrect setting in registry, I will look at this.

Yes, this error can occur when you are doing so with an older version of Comm Manager, I will solve it in the next version.

Tried this tweak application. Think it has more feature than 'Trinity Hack' & HTCustom. Also, selecting using 'Dpad to navigate' PIE doesn't cause the SMS to open from bottom (tho' deselect this feature seems to cause that problem, this is opposite to HTCustom).
However, I had problem accessing wifi the other day. I thought it could be caused by some applications including this one. Deleted this one to tried and I managed to connect to the network. But now I read in another place that some other user of WM6 for HTC P3600 has experienced this problem. So, may not be caused by your application.
Can you or anyone confirm this? Kinda like your application.. esp. the part which can control the 'Cleartype' font. = )

I can confirm that my application has nothing to do with Wi-Fi network!

I don't know, I never had such a problem with D-pad navigation, so I don't know what causes this problem. The only thing I do to des/activate it is to modify a registry entry.

great tool mate... a few questions though..
1. The WIFI button in Comm Manager is not working for me. I tried the registry change (using Resco) but it still does not work. I am not sure if I have got the right changes in place. It works only when the original comm manager (that dull blue thing) is used (any other comm manager is failing)
2. The dial pad, seems to display the last call information overlapping the list of previous calls. I can post a screenshot if you want me to.
3. What does the Unlock and Unhide Extended Rom options do? They actually seem to be doing nothing on my ppc.
I am using a T-Mobile Wing with WM6.
By the way, the ClearType setting is awesome.
Hi, can somebody who has a Trinity test the User Agent changing in Schaps Advanced Configuration Tool (Internet).
Try to put NokiaN70 into the User Agent field and press Done (softreset).
After opening http://www.fiddlertool.com/useragent.aspx in Pocket Internet Explorer the Site should show: User Agent: NokiaN70....... (scroll down).
Can somebody tell me whats written after User Agent on Trinity? This would help much! Thanks.

Can't agree more on the Cleartype setting. Previously I find the default Cleartype setting making my Chinese font too blurry to read. With this application, I can adjust it according to my preference now! Thanks for this marvelous work!

There will be bugs in the TP2 Manila versions. Please do not post about the bugs in this thread unless you have a solution for them. All of them have been documented in other threads and the Mods will be opening a thread for TP2 Manila bugs.

ROM does not include radio. I recommend latest AT&T 1.12.25.19 radio for best performance. Look HERE!

ROM contains latest aGPS, GPS Drivers and Registry settings for new and improved GPS.

AT&T version of ROMs are identical to the HTC ROMs besides the dialer and PTT. AT&T ROMs have the AT&T dialer to enable video share and PTT. Also ProFuze has been added to change keyboard layout. It's a great little app developed by trinode and it can be found here.

Q: How/What do I need to install this ROM?
A: Please read the install instructions and all related guides before you install.
Q: Why is my antivirus warning me about a possible trojan/worm/virus?
A: It is a known problem with the CustomRUU.exe file. There is no trojan/worm/virus and your AV programs is just giving a fals positive. Search around these boards to confirm the problem.
Q: Why is Opera and Google Maps not cooked into ROM.
A: Not everyone uses the same version of those programs so it is up to the user to install what version they like. I have provided links to the latest versions of each in the following posts.
Q: I have problems with so and so?
A: Please take the time to read or search the thread to see if someone else was/is having the same problem to see if there is a solution before posting a question about your problem.
Q: I would like to report a bug.

Nice responsive rom so far..
After a couple hours of testing I've found one bug:
When going into settings --> phone, when attempting to hear the ringtones by pressing the 'play' button, a message pops up saying "This ring tone file is corrupted or unavailable. Please choose a different ring tone." This happens on every ringtone..
Where is the Key Lock setting under Settings? Right now I can only wake up my phone by pressing the power button. I would like all the buttons to be able to wake up the phone.

Try with one of your ringtones. It happens with the tones that are listed but not actually in the ROM. I guess I can clean it up more.

Not 100% sure what you are talking about but will look into it.
After the first few hours of use 3 things jump out.
1. Extremely Stable
2. VERY LOW Power Usage
3. No Active Sync flair-up issues

Yeah, with the ringtone thing, just add your own ringtone and it will work fine. As for me, I'm loving this ROM. I doesn't have alot of fluff and its very stable. Battery life seems amazing too. Its raining here, so its hard for me to test the GPS, but when I do I'll post here.

Please note, I haven't done these cabs so all compliments/complaints should go to the poster.
Edit 5/31: Fixed the recurring task bug, now the application doesn't use State & Notification Broker but hooks into Outlook Interop. This means that the application cannot rely on SNB to start itself and hence places a shortcut in windows\startup folder. The task counter now only displays the tasks that are due today instead of all tasks (Pages placement is defined for QVGA only). This version does not require any soft-reset post install/uninstall.
Edit 5/23: Should support most of the resolutions now. If you are on some other resolution than QVGA, extract the default.plg file from default.plg.zip and replace the plg within taskanium.zip with this one before installing. I haven't been able to test the layout for other resolutions so bug reports are welcome.
Edit 5/23: Now with task counter goodness in condensed mode for QVGA in portrait mode! Why only QVGA? Because, it takes a lot of hit and trial to get the placement of the counter and requires good amount of tweaking to show it correctly & since I don't have a VGA/WVGA device; I couldn't really take it up. If you wish you can modify the default.plg file of 0.4b to include the placement of "Pages" counter in the Condensed mode for your resolution before installing 0.4b.

Installation:
Currently, there is no cab file for installation (cause I am really tired and it's late night!), the installation is straightforward:
1) unzip the zip file within \program files\taskanium (the path is hard-wired, so unzipping it somewhere else would not work*).
2) click on taskaniumInstall file (if you don't see any error messages it means the installation was successful). * taskaniumInstaller is just a lnk file, if you know how to modify it; you can modify it to point to some other installation folder (along with taskaniumUninstall). The link files are the only place where the path is hard-wired, rest all should work.
3) soft-reset (yes, you have to else you will only see "add a new task" in titanium).
Uninstallation:
1) Click on taskaniumUnInstall.
2) delete the entire taskanium folder
3) soft-reset (required again).
The current location in plg for this plugin is set to 2.
KNOWN ISSUES:
1) completing a recurring task doesn't refresh the plugin unless you add/remove a simple task. I still haven't been able to figure out why
2) Uninstallation at times still keeps taskanium.exe running even after a reset (again, don't really know why), the work around for now is to delete the entire taskanium folder after running taskaniumUninstall & before soft-resetting.
STANDARD DISCLAIMERS APPLY, This works on my phone (asus P525 with andrewsh's rom) and should ideally work on your phone too without any issues, but if you believe it might cause something crazy on your phone DON'T INSTALL IT!

Great idea! Just downloaded. Unfortunately, all I get is a blank panel after a soft reset. If you scroll up/down, the right soft key pulls in from that panel. Titan running a 21222 ROM.

do you mind posting a screenshot of what you are getting, after a soft-reset and check in (process) Task Manager if taskanium.exe is running after a soft-reset (open Task Manager, click on View-->Processes)? Also, just trying to understand the the problem that you're having, in the collapsed titanium view; you don't see the "tasks" label but see a blank place-holder; is that right? And, if you select this blank place-holder do you see at least "Add a new task" as in screenshot#2 above? The blank place-holder could be due to the fact that I am only updating one reg key for the plugin text ([email protected]l).
This does use ATInstaller so other plugins should be un-affected.

Please read the first post, it's QVGA only (for now) and doesn't support Touch HD (WVGA). The current default.plg only defines layouts for QVGA portrait and landscape mode only.

apologies for more questions, but if I understand correctly that once you select the blank plugin; the right soft-key does change to something like "Complete or New"; it's just that you don't see any text either in "condensed view" (when the plugin is collapsed and even if you select the blank plugin, is that correct?
Yes, the right soft key changes to the panel's right key I was at previously. So for the attached example I went from the music panel to the task panel and it picked up the right key for the music panel. Also, nothing happens when I press on the panel or use the right soft key. Could it be the number of tasks?? I have probably over 150 tasks sync'd up. cpr file attached.
benven, I think most probably the blank task panel is due to the customized theme that you are using (the one that you are using is not the titanium default) and has nothing to do with number of tasks that you have (I have tested it with around 100 tasks on my phone and it does work).
There are two things that you can do to hopefully get it to work:
1) Open the default.plg file in taskanium folder in a text editor and change the position to 1 from 10 (within <position></position>
2) Replace all instances of Tahoma with Segoe UI.
After you make these changes just install it again and hopefully it should work. You can also use the default.plg file attached (remove the .txt extension) with the above 2 changes already made and replace the existing plg file with this one.
If it still doesn't work, you can help me further in troubleshooting by using a registry editor (like CERegEditor) and tell me if the following keys are created:
1) HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\Taskanium (there should be at least 2 subkeys within this: 1) CondensedPage & 2) Page1.
2) HKLM\System\Notifications\Taskanium.

Hi sn123. First off thank you very much for your time and help. I uploaded the default.plg file. Checked the registry. All keys are in. I guess I have 118 tasks! Anyway, uninstalled/reinstalled, Taskanium and the Bliss theme on both my Titan and Apache. I am sad to report that it still does the same thing . It must be something with the theme. I'm sure rpereira can help out. He seems like a really good guy and resource. Then again, maybe it's me that's not doing something right! Anyway, I'm going away for a week, so I'l check back when I get back.
sorry that it didn't work for you . It could be due to the number of tasks (perhaps titanium has a cap on number of pages that it would show!). For 15 tasks that I tested it with it seemed to load all the pages.
Once I have some free time, I will perhaps create 118 dummy tasks just to test out .

see, the screenies, MTP make new TAB, if you want, replace standard weather tab
i works very well but the weather image is not load. i have select "germany" in "Weather Images" and made "update" but there is always the main image whit the " ADD weather images" sign in the lower right corner.

I have the same issue. What cab are you using for your slider icons? That is probably the issue

Wajk, what are you using for your slider, it really looks good
Great app! Installed on Topaz/Diamond2 with Netdrg ROM, configure some French cities and it works like a charm. Just few lags/issues with the Weather image, not very stable and sometimes TF3D is restarted, don't know why (it happens when I try to zoom in/out the Satellite image and it crashes Manila which is restarted).
Anyway, bravo. I will follow this amazing tool
[EDIT] I also have the white Window image tab. Then I tried your tweaks upon, but when I reinstalled the 04_rw.cab, it pop-up "enable to find Manila", I click "ok" and it installs anyway... but the White Window tab icone still there...

Tried that so far no luck... should i try uninstalling any custom slider?
also when i deleteded the reg for the slider positions, it did not auto recreate and so i restored it...
Bug tracker : the "moon" button doesn't work properly. When I press it, the screen view doesn't change and both buttons (moon and the previous I pressed) are pressing. If I now press another button, the Night views appear during 1 sec and screen goes to the following view. Don't know if it's comprehensible :|

After following cab install instructions and soft reset, I get an error on restart for MTPLoader. An issue with trusted certificates. Have also installed SDK cabs, but still no luck. Any ideas?
I have installed all cabs but cab3 as it failed, but am trying to open the MTP Configurator as it says in the FAQ and I am getting an error saying that I need a newer version of the microsoft.net framework than the version installed. Any help on how to get this? Sorry if this is an obvious fix, but I'm kind of new at this.
Edit: Ok I figured that out but now I'm trying to figure out how to do steps 9-17 in the configuration section.

StatusTicker is an app to replace the Carrier Name with a status monitor. The ticker will display phone info, weather, stocks, sports, you name it.

This will add a Calendar Tab to your Manila TouchFlo 3D look making use of the redundant TV tab here is a screen shot
Again this will only work with my TouchFlo 3D Look II ROM or the above theme installedso if you are not running it please don't install it as you could find your self doing a HardresetInstallation:
1/ Install the cab file and soft reset
2/ GoTo Progams\Tools And Open M2Dtp_Config
3/ just Click Apply (bottom Left)
4/ Click menu then Exit and exit the Config
Your Calender Tab should now be working you can change the settings for the Calender by touching the small icon in the top right of the screen

Not sure what you mean if you mean the skin in the screenshot then you must install xda shutdown first then copy the skin to the install folder

It is a theme for Manila but the touchflo 3d look rom is using this theme

I can't get Calendar to work.
I have a WM 6.5 ROM (for Kaiser, by Teijak) with the exact Manila version (at least the ROM thread lists that version). I downloaded and installed your theme without problem, and the calendar cab installed without problems, too. But on the reboot, when the device is starting TouchFlo it complains a about a registry /HKCU/Software/Manila2D_TodayPage error. When I manually add that as a folder, this startup error disappears, but when I launch M2Dtp_Config it complains that it's for "TodayPage ver.0.3.x".
What am I doing wrong? Or what I can do to manually fix the problem?

you have not set up todaypage so no page is specified
just open today page post or whtealiens mega manila post there are many tutorials on setting up today page i don't have my old device any more so i can't run it to describe how to setup manually sorry

Download and Install the application.
Select Option button then Calendar Settings.
Enter you location info, Calculation Method and hit Update.
Hit OK. When it asks to select a contact select any contact (you have to put atleast a number in there)
Hit OK. Now you should see all the times.
If you scroll down the the bottom, you will see a button with timer. Hitting it will stop the timer.
Now set options as desired. From the option menu.
Don't Forget to update High Resolution Start Menu Icon from applications menu. (only Supported in WM 6.5+)

Download the attached "eng.Language.txt" file
Open the file and translate everything after equal(=) sign.
Save the file as [3 char language name].Language.txt for example "eng.Language.txt".

If anyone else needs another Language file, please make it as the english one and post it here so I can put that in future updates.
You can add the language file in Language folder and it will show up in the interface to select.
Also this also resolve people who wanted to edit the messages, sms messages, lables and etc etc... You can change anything in the langauge file, just make sure it's in the same order as it is right now.

Make sure you have .NET COMPACT FRAMEWORK 3.5 installed before trying to run this app.

Good to know that you liked it.
I used have non-sense interface, but when I saw Sense UI; didn't realize that it will not work on non-touch screens (I am not even sure that if it suppose to work with non touch or not ).
When I get enough time I'll try to put both interface together for touch and non touch. If I need help I surely will message you.

Thank you for your efforts for this application. I'm using a T-Mobile_LEO HD2 with the stock ROM (CF 3.5) and i am getting error messages that CF 3.5 is not installed.

I do not check to see if CF 3.5 is installed. Although some components my app uses does need CF 3.5.
Try to reinstall .Net CF 3.5 by downloading it from here...
My wife have a T-Mobile HD2 and it works perfectly on it.
If reinstall dosen't work pm me so we can figure it out...

It's been working like a charm on my Sprint Touch Pro2. The only thing I have noticed is that the scrolling is laggy. Everything else works fine. I also made a quick HTC style icon for the app, if you want to use it.

It does lagg on my tilt 2 also for some reason... first i thought that may be processor is slow... then when i installed it on my old wing 268mhz it works perfect... i might try to fix it...
I did already included a high resolution icon with my app... from the menu you can click Update Icon... and after a soft reset you should see a high res icon...
Your icon is kool also ill save it...
Could it be that the HTC scroll is enabled and causing conflict with the built in scrolling functions in the SDK?

When i set the calendar settings, i have an issue:
It make ErrCode : CD01
<conversion from string "#01/13/2010 00:00:01 pm" to type 'date' is not valid.
My setting date is french
Any idea?
