My cemail.vol file was getting huge so I deleted it. What I DIDN'T know, was it was going to erase my ability to send/receive MMS messages. Most of the posts I could find only had answers for the MDA, and I've been struggling trying to get MMS to work... So I turned to my favorite community.
I have an SDA II with WM5. ANYONE out there have any ideas?
I have the same problem.... my MMS on my Verzion Q has mysteriously dissapeared... can anyone help?

I have read and read and browsed and downloaded and typed and entered and so on!!!!! But none of the solutions or cabs seems to work for Erofich's Standard 6.1 1.1.7 version. I am on the Cingular/AT&T network. Does anyone have the fix? I can send MMS but cannot download.
Have the same problem but can download picture not audio files

i have the settings if you want them. the cab files wouldnt work for me either. just pm me or just ask in the forum.

Yes, the settings on the ATT website WORK, but not completely. The MMS header will download, but you can't view any pictures. This must be a ROM issue - I've tried everything I can think of!
Finally resolved
This is one of those occasions where you are not sure what fixed it in the array of changes, but it worked, so don't argue with results.
I went in and cleared out all the settings that came by default with the 6.1 ROM. (Proxy, GPRS, MMS, etc.)
I then input by hand the settings on the AT&T website at:

I get alerts, I am able to send and receive all MMS messages as well as txt msg and Exchange Outlook email. No ERROR SYNCHRONIZING anymore!
Strange... my internet works (as well as all my internet enabled apps), texting works fine, but MMS is still a no-go! I don't get "error synchronizing" anymore... it just tries to send and always fails 5 minutes later! I have checked and re-checked the settings - I am running the latest WM 6.1 Standard ROM from this forum.
Help on MMS VZW; After I installed: Arcsoft Verizon MMS 5.0.69.44, a message comes up: "THis might not display because this is for an older version". I have tried to send a low res picture, and it bounces back saying "message delivery failed;or message recept failed" The person I sent it to, doesnt get the picture. I then tried GC Acrsoft MMS 5.031.25 & GC VZW Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24. Still no good, ”same messige delivery reject” any other ideas?
so not what you want to hear, but I spent the morning fighting with this exact issue... Finally just reflashed the ROM used PHM Registry hacker dn went to HKLM/software/arcsoft/arfcsoft mms ua/config/mm1/wspheader and added a new string X-VzW-MDN with the value of my 10 digit number. now it works.
I gave up and flashed scotts, mms worked, its also loaded. Thanks for your response
so... It seems I have gotten pretty good with this MMS not working thing... I have found that installing Caulkins Arcsoft fersion (I think its 69.43 or something....) and then dialling *228 option 1 to program your phone works pretty good. Im back to rocking Boreds stripper rom and loving it again. But now I found a winMo 6.5 rom that I wanna try....
hi all, to im new to this forum, in doing some of my own research i came across the questions on the MMS for VZW, have u tried changing anything in the servers, I was gettint the same exact message until I changed the server info, then it started working instantly give that one a try. However I am having a heck of a time trying to update the rom on my VZW tp, anyone have the time to walk me through it, thanks in advance.

Ok, I have the MMS working on the phone. However the touchFlo interface does not support the new SMS/MMS. it no longer shows next messages on the interface. I have to go into the messages to see view any messages since the upgrade. is there a way to configure the touchflo to look at the mms update instead?

I've got a pink Hero from mobiles.co.uk for my girlfriend (really it is for my girlfriend) and I'm having the strangest issue with MMS on it.
If I send a message to myself, it sends it fine and receives it fine.
If I send it to another phone, it sends fine and the person receives it fine.
However, If I get one sent to my phone from another phone, it wont receive it.
I just can't understand why, is there anyone here who can actually receive MMS messages from someone else who is on Vodafone?
I haven't bothered posting my APN settings just in case its a known issue but I will do if some people can send messages. I'm on Modaco 2.6 too.

my Hero was receiving mms ok, then just stopped cant receive any now, on vodafone cant seem to find out why, starting to annoy me, no bluetooth and now no mms why did i buy this peice of sh** aarrgghh
at my local (AUSTRALIA) virgin/optus/vodafone store he has a magic vodafone & i have a hero optus & we were testing this as i was setting up my MMS & all worked ok

UK vodafone, using MCR 2.2 ROM (will update soon!), MMS worked pre uprgade, but now does not. Tried all sorts of APN settings.
Hey all, i originally posted this problem in January, still no fix.
Wondering if any of the new folks to the forum have any suggestions.
I am using an unlocked TG01 from Orange (UK) on Rogers in Canada (GMT -5), using the official 6.5 ROM. CE OS 5.2.21840 (Build 21840.5.0.60)
My SMS messages recieved are logged 5 hours behind current time. My SMS messages sent are logged at the current time. My suspicion is that it has to do with the origin of the phone, from the UK.
I have searched xda forums and modaco forums, microsoft, and google.
I have total commander, and have modified the registry in a few was, as described below:
I have added the TrustTimeZoneField field dword (in HKLM\System\Phone Settings\OEM ... or whatever it was.)
I have modifed HKLM\Time Zones to include Eastern Standard Time with the proper TZI file.
I have tried to set the timezone to another setting (like GMT -3) reset the phone, and then change it back, and it doesn't not work.
I have download a cab file that was supposed to fix it too.
I am looking for any other ideas, please, and thanks.

I followed rogers settings I found on from another site , but although I managed to get the sms working, MMS is still ignoring me. I also cannot connect to the internet/skype using 3G, only wifi, which is quite annoying.
Anyhow, give this a try and see where you get. I found that the Toshiba framework doesn't allow you to add all of these settings, so that might be part of the problem. Anyone have a .cab that might allow for a more comprehensive wifi/3G settings input?

Hi I cant get my mms working at all on my x10. I have all the right apn info and triple checked that everything is correct. Whenever i send a picture to somebody else it comes up on their phone as `unsupported file format` and when ever someone sends me a picture the message bubble shows up that i have a message but its a blank message!

Did you ever get the problem fixed? I'm running into a different problem with the mms and was wondering if you could help out. I have the mmsc set as the aliasredirect url that was provided on telus' site and all the proper data settings. However, my data is working but when I try to send an mms it comes up with "Queued for sending" and never sends. Any help would be appreciated.
