I am curious, is there a way to modify the rom as we would like, just like the Kitchen provided by Gullum, for his IX and X...., this question came to me because of the new way of upgrading......, b4 we could work with the OS.nb file modify it and after make it "nk" and after update.
So is there a way to work with the nk file, for instance for removing couple application.

I tried the Shadow. It's great. But strangely, I don't find it's fast. Even slower than Mysterious, especially after install Touch Keyboard/Keypad. It's sluggish even. I love Touch Keypad so much.
The rest all working fine.
One more thing on Shadow. Whenever I reset (be it hard or soft), when it prompt for SIM card pin number, if I enter it immediately, the GPRS will not work (NO SERVICE) and time display on the HTC Home will go freeze. But, if I wait for 10 second or so then enter, everything will work perfectly. Didn't try to disable the pin though. Or I guess it's got something to do with the password thing (password remembered even after soft reset) that you fixed? This is not so crucial though. The speed however is very irritating.
question:
1. If already patch to shadow clean version how should i patch the shadow
touch? Is it just run the Rom_update_.... ?
2. Both shadow clean and touch are BS, if tends to go back to WM5 2.20
how? 2.20 is not BS.
3. Can we just made the WM5 2.20 become BS?

Known bugs:
1. sound will disapear if tapping more then 30 numbers on the Phone dial pad ( workaround: We have disabled the sound when tapping) working on a fix
2. Model id is square .... solved
3. Led on phone kets... solved

unfortunately no! at least I can not use radio roms higher than 2.20.21 ! But I never had any problem with this rom using 2.20.21! [ fido users in canada , they can't use 2.47.21 in wm6] .

got a little problem here! just changed the today theme to black satin and then to black light(both dark grey).
now i cant change back to the BLACK theme that showed up after the first boot... where can i find this theme?
The Windows Default theme brings back the sunset background picture but has the normal WM6 colors!

Thank you your rom really works smooth and fast.
Concerning Batterystatus i have noticed that speed doesn't refresh or vary eevn setting scalar mode. It gets stuck in the same speed. Installing build 219 it gets solved.
Sorry how can i fix some shortcuts in htc home plugin when these applications are installed in SD. After softreset they are gone.

well all those stuff can be somehow remove from external_rom even the HTC Home plug in ! This Rom is fast that's all i can say.

Well , It's better than Crystal V3. At least on my phone . so try it yourself. Sorry digifan as i said this is my personal rom. so it doesn't support chinese region. I can change the wince.nls but then i wont know if it's stable anymore.

If you haven't HardSPL then you have to do Step 1 and Step 2 of that guide.

well this rom has certificate issue, meaning that you can not install programs that are not signed ! I found this bug after releasing the rom and I'm working on it. I will release an update and a patch later on.

EDIT .. Okay i checked out paradis pal's solution for changing pagepool, but the OS has to be version. 4.0.0.0 or 6.0.0.0 and this new Crystal is 2.20.. What can i do to change the page pool ?

why do you need the os.nb ?! you can extract it yourself from the nbf file. It's waste of time to upload it here. also with the old method you wont get the bigstorage. you HAVE TO use the new method.

actually I just want to edit the Ext.Rom ( added Adobe Reader LE in it). So it would be better for me. 'Coz I read much pdf file in my XDA.
I know with the old methode I can't get the bigstorage.
Anyway I will try to extract the nbf file. Dunno how to do.. But I'll search the way for it.

SMS sytem it's work for me can sent and recive no problem..
you try hard reset gene and try to use sms agian..
i'm sorry maybe have bug on this version
i'm not have skill too much for fix bug this rom

what are the basic difference , bet wean the previous rom and this one . I dont think its worth flashing only for the home screen . It will be great if you can explain what are the things which you have included in this new ROM

I updated my device with this rom. Its worth an upgrade . This version is fast (very much faster than previous one...). But some issues are also there (like the X button is not closing the apps... )

When you say it wont close, does it close using any task manager or ... it just doesnt close....
of course yes..u can close any app with the task manager. what the x button does is only minimizing the apps...

Mithun , try with this task manager and try weather you can get a today screen icon to close application ..

This is a new one , build 365112
nops...the same thing...no today plugin and apps gets miniized...but the X button in orefkov's rom was working fine....
just cudnt get it to work..after tricolor screen and getting to 2-3% it reboots and says image is corrupt...
It was for kaiser so will it be compatible with our devices(Gene).
Ok, so I tried it myself and as yet (just two min. back it got updated) its equally good and fast.Though does not have One Note preinstalled.
Additional thing is Task Manager and else everything is same.
No problem with Messaging as yet.
Rest I will write after further testing.

Hmm...this is by far the best ROM I have tried here.But a working solution for X button and closing apps automatically will be good.Currently I am using QuickMenu and BatteryStatsExt. for that purpose.I strongly believe that few tools should be pre-installed in any custmized ROM like Dotfred's Task Manager, PPCPimBackup, WIMR, PHM regedit and Esmertec Jbed.
Any idea how to change pagepool size safely in it.

i'd suggest you use 4mb pp for more amount of ram

10. with S2V,
11. with PPT,
12. Audio booster,
13. really good work.
Made the pp 4mb and disabled wktask , using quickmenu instead, and 26mb free ram and really fast!

i guess that one consumes a lot battery but it's also installable, so if you want , you may use it yourself.
i'll only change pp not to miss up things that would make the rom unstable

I think you can, but no more true answer than trying yourself. But be careful!, it'll reduce your battery life besides manilla already reducing enough

Played with every Manilla tab once, turned off radio. Overnight battery in 9 hours went from 75% to 75%. Yes: 0%. After a bit of additional playing this morning (radio now on), battery drop in 4 Hours is just 2%.
Tested Tomtom 5.0: Works fine. Forget using it after running the Music Player though.... not really enough memory left.
Quickest ROM I ever tried (4 MB pp version). Everything that I need seems to work.
Totally fluid Manilla 2D - not jerky at all. Dislike the tiny section on the home screen given to the calendar - way too small and text is grey!
Excellent work everybody! am VERY impressed!
Confirmed as Jellyme about battery life. it is superb ROM which 4mb pp version.

Works very well, but IGO 8 doesnt work stable, crashing in a minute, need more program memory. any idea?
try 8mb pagepool version, it may help. If not, then i'd suggest you dont use manilla 2d and go for "prophet nitro"
