you try hard reset gene and try to use sms agian..

what are the basic difference , bet wean the previous rom and this one . I dont think its worth flashing only for the home screen . It will be great if you can explain what are the things which you have included in this new ROM

I updated my device with this rom. Its worth an upgrade . This version is fast (very much faster than previous one...). But some issues are also there (like the X button is not closing the apps... )

When you say it wont close, does it close using any task manager or ... it just doesnt close....
of course yes..u can close any app with the task manager. what the x button does is only minimizing the apps...

This is a new one , build 365112
nops...the same thing...no today plugin and apps gets miniized...but the X button in orefkov's rom was working fine....
just cudnt get it to work..after tricolor screen and getting to 2-3% it reboots and says image is corrupt...
It was for kaiser so will it be compatible with our devices(Gene).
Ok, so I tried it myself and as yet (just two min. back it got updated) its equally good and fast.Though does not have One Note preinstalled.
Additional thing is Task Manager and else everything is same.
No problem with Messaging as yet.
Rest I will write after further testing.

Hmm...this is by far the best ROM I have tried here.But a working solution for X button and closing apps automatically will be good.Currently I am using QuickMenu and BatteryStatsExt. for that purpose.I strongly believe that few tools should be pre-installed in any custmized ROM like Dotfred's Task Manager, PPCPimBackup, WIMR, PHM regedit and Esmertec Jbed.
Any idea how to change pagepool size safely in it.

I am curious, is there a way to modify the rom as we would like, just like the Kitchen provided by Gullum, for his IX and X...., this question came to me because of the new way of upgrading......, b4 we could work with the OS.nb file modify it and after make it "nk" and after update.
So is there a way to work with the nk file, for instance for removing couple application.

I tried the Shadow. It's great. But strangely, I don't find it's fast. Even slower than Mysterious, especially after install Touch Keyboard/Keypad. It's sluggish even. I love Touch Keypad so much.
The rest all working fine.
One more thing on Shadow. Whenever I reset (be it hard or soft), when it prompt for SIM card pin number, if I enter it immediately, the GPRS will not work (NO SERVICE) and time display on the HTC Home will go freeze. But, if I wait for 10 second or so then enter, everything will work perfectly. Didn't try to disable the pin though. Or I guess it's got something to do with the password thing (password remembered even after soft reset) that you fixed? This is not so crucial though. The speed however is very irritating.
question:
1. If already patch to shadow clean version how should i patch the shadow
touch? Is it just run the Rom_update_.... ?
2. Both shadow clean and touch are BS, if tends to go back to WM5 2.20
how? 2.20 is not BS.
3. Can we just made the WM5 2.20 become BS?

I think the camera module is in OEM_Drivers. But on wm6 (N-Touch 19548 is the same problem), i had changes some modules on OS folder with as i know working with previous version. Do u have experience?

Could u look "devices" on your phone with taskmanager. On my device camera.dll just one and "unloaded". I think on wm 6 is two and both are "loaded"

i hope this aint slow like the other rom with manila 2d
EIther you have an old gene and you've flashed this ROM or you have a new gene and you used the Olipro SPL unlocker which doesn't works on this device.
If its the first one, just flash your previous ROM and your phone will be alright. And in future dont flash any ROM that is for new gene. Yours is an old one and there are seprate ROMs available for these on the forum (not exactly this ROM but others). And do try to read thread first before flashing, just an advice. No offence buddy
If its the second reason, try using the gene unbriker by orefkov. The complete method for using it and the files needed are all given in the Lomlom's fusion 9 for new gene thread by ankit360. Use that to get your phone back. And dont forget to thank him for his effort if it works for you

Just wonder can i cange the TF3D background color from blue to Browne.
Dont like the Dialup screen, its very very nice looking, will stick to it but a very usefull feature is missing, when i am dialing it dosent check my contack. u know the function at htc dial have u can type the name on dialpad and it will find the name, and contact number will on the screen than click dial.
very fast to dial someone without checking Contact, Directory or Addressbook.
Is it possiable to Enable this Feature?

screenshots please?
Dont like the Dialup screen, its very very nice looking, will stick to it but a very usefull feature is missing, when i am dialing it dosent check my contack. u know the function at htc dial have u can type the name on dialpad and it will find the name, and contact number will on the screen than click dial.
very fast to dial someone without checking Contact, Directory or Addressbook.
Is it possiable to Enable this Feature?

Just a tip: The thread from where you have taken this dialer also has a cab for the quick dial functionality i think, use that, and covert it to OEM using Ervius' Packaging tool or Cab2OEM (both available here on XDA) to create an OEM package.
I hope this will help. Also, whats the status of Windows Live? You got the certificates?
Can you please upload the file to Rapidshare or some other server? B'cause I find skydrive just not capable, trying for last 30 min to download and its saying service is overloaded

I had downloaded from PDAviet yesterday, works fine in our prophet, camera working... a bit laggy and clumsy in animated cube like windows.....
I had asked for Lamson's permission and I may edited a clean version....

yep the start interface scrolls very slow and also the titanium plugin, but otherwise is very fast, in explorer for example it opens the windows folder in 2 sec. or so.
Anyway it's an excellent start and I'm sure that our gifted chefs will cook great stripped versions of this one.

also a manila 2d version would be great.
in previews of wm 6.5 for example on xperia or diamond the new start menu is also slow and not that much resposive , so i think its a bug of os itself

Invisible Keyboard
I can't see the keys to put the pin when starting the phone, all white.
Have flashed this to my imate jamin replacing Dioxda's 10 tab version but should say this rom sucks unless somebody makes it nicer. 2D and its flo was too nice. This reminds us of old Wm5 days with little bit of jazz but nothing really serious. Performance is pathetic. Storage and program memory are quite good. Storage is best(i get around 48 mb) program is around 20 mb stable
nothing worth noticing, i may revert to 10 tab tomorrow

Just advice, don't integrate the coreplayer into your ROM.
As far as I know, there is no TRIAL edition for coreplayer.
Except the c**cked version..

how do we put the applications in specific folders while cooking the rom, i want to put them seperatily in Additional/internet/applicaiton folders.
Rakesh Buddy, nice ROM and all, but Core Player is not free, Remove it from your ROM. If its TCPMP, the older freeware version then its ok, change the name in your first post then, but no version of Core Player is free. And that guy, he has also posted 2 games for downloads which are not free as far as i know so dont follow him. And he may be referring to TCPMP too.

I did have a long chat with + q ppc regarding core player.Best part is,as a proof, anyone can download a core player from the official site.Yes,the software will ask u for registration as its not free and in the about screen it does show unregistered and reminds u for registration.
Where as when u try this specific build, the scenario is completely different.It does specify that u are using a version which is specifically made for a particular build,thats 6909 for ARM.
Do try out both the cabs to see the real difference.
