After using Rom WM6.1 of Cloudyfa for 2 or 3 days I found a problem with the switch off function. Everytime I switch the phone on, it switches off again automatically. Then i must press the power button one more time and it's ok for the 2nd time.
Thought it was somes error during the uprom process, I tried to uprom one more time and hard reset many times but still failed.
Just tried the Rom of varanusvincent (Vista is beatiful and the speed is good, but the battery lost so fast) , and also get the same problem. Anyone can help?

U're right. Abt 80% of all times this happens, but I don't think it was an incompatibility with one of the programs we installed cause' after making the hard reset I didn't install anything and the problem still occurs.
I'm now using Rom of Korand for more stable though i still love Rom of cloudyfa. :
I think, this problem because of animated screen..
Even me too facing the same problem with Clean Edition, the problem is it doesn't gets switch off in first attempt, instead the device gets restart and the next time when I hold the power key it switches off properly.
I don't think it is because of Animated Startup, because I already disabled it. May be a compatibility issue.

It works straight out of the box! If you are sure your settings are right, Hard Reset or reflash.

perhaps i've got another solution here: as i wrote a time ago on another thread, i have NOW none of the known issues on my wm 6.1 prophet. but i had realized each single one of them for about half an hour directly after flashing
so what's happend? : first i flashed rom. then i do (like strictly advised ) a hard reset manually (after the one the device makes automatically after flashing).
so far so good... then i started in makeing my settings, installing apps, trying around and so on. and in this time, i had flashing today screen on power on, sms cannot be sent message after three or four sms until soft reset, much battery drain and so on.
well, then i made a big mistake, set my favorite sip as default in sip-hide tool (it should be set not there but with another tool i forgot to install...) , and after a soft-reset the device stuck at the htc-splashscreen
so i had to do a second hard reset and since i did it all works properly like it should!
maybe this could be a solution for all of you, too.. try it out (a second hard reset!), what do you have to loose now..

Hi, I think wm6 or 6.1 roms have some common problems in all roms which can be discussed here.
I begin first :
I used to change rom by jumpspl and I didn't want hardspl ( i was spl 2.20)
but for the last cloudyfa rom i saw everywhere to use hardspl so i thought there will be problems if i don't do that
but after i hardspled my device to g3.4pda.... and used the new rom ,my device stays about 20 seconds on the spl showing page after each soft reset .
i remember this page went so quickly before that i couldn't read all of the numbers (ipl,spl,os,radio) in it
so the sof reset process takes a lot more time now.
i wanna ask if it is because of the new rom or the new cracked hardspl ?
and if it is the hardspl how can i change it back ?
To change back the HardSPL process, you will need to use an operator ROM such as the Orange WM5 ROM (it's available on the FTP, I'll find a link when I can).
You shouldn't need to HardSPL to flash a ROM, it is just more reliable that JumpSPL or SoftSPL in that once you've done it, it won't revert very easily.

I think the ROM can not be NVID as I don't think it'll reflash the SPL. I would recommend a vendor ROM as it will work (I have tried it).

I've only just noticed that delay, but probably something to do with the SPL.

since I am using roms above wm5 like 6 and 6.1 the batterystatus program wont do the cpuscaler thing which i used perfectly before.
I asked and tried a lot but could not get it to work. even tried to use XCPUScalar2007_v3-03 but it wanted a lot of testingand ...

I was using Battery status (I use the 1.05 beta version, not sure if that helps) and it works flawlessly.
ok can you show me your setting for the two pages for overclocking or at least your xml setting file ?
another thing :
in the new cloudyfa rom the the bluetooth sound of the caller is much louder and i think that even the quality of the BT stereo music is higher,
but the volume of the caller sound from the device itself is significantly lower than before.
i remember that the previous builds had some tweak for the volume during the call, but in this one its not mentioned...
is this the reason ?
I've just flashed a ROM, so I will have to set up Battery status first and then I shall post screen shots.
I would suggest speaking to Cloudyfa, or putting a post in the ROM thread as it will probably get fixed faster.

Newbeeeeee Stuck with sound problem after upgrade
Hi,
I am newbee on this ROM upgrade issue. I tried to follow the upgrade guide as much as i could but after installing 3 or 4 WM6.1 ROM packages i fail to rectify one problem. That is the sound issue. Now even the midi tones set for the Ringing come with cutting. With increasing the volume it increases but this was not happening when i had the original WM5 installed. I fail to understand what step i am missing or there is some codec problem which i am failing to understand.
My steps are:-
(1) Hard SPL the device when connected with PC.
(2) Run the ROM_UpdateUtility_G4..... and wait
(3) Once the device shows 100% and PC gives success i remove the device its battery for 3sec and then softy reset it.
am i missing some important step

I think you should try to hard reset your device after flashing the ROM instead of just a soft reset.

which device u you my friend, I dont have problem with my 6828,
for 6815 user, u can use patch i included in cabs folder.
note:
if you using 6828 and camera stil freeze after soft reset, i sugest to flash with my WM 6.1 Ultimate Edition Ver2 ROM before flash with this ROM, because WM 6.1 Ultimate Edition Ver2, i added litle script to remove all user settings (like wrong, conflict hw, last theme, etc) in last flash procedure

I`ve upgraded from 6.1 ultimate edition and used the camera patch.When I start the hp utility the main window shows and freeze.When i start the other utility only the screen goes brighter and freeze.After removing the patch, the non hp utility start and doesn`t freeze,the buttons on the main windows works but there is no image from the camera

Thanks for report, I test on 6828 too, no error and keypad in gcalc work properly. if another 6828 user have some probelm please report here.
after flash, contact not work (can not see contact in sim), except that, everything is ok, hp 6828 too

1. i can't turn off the vibrate (in calls only, mesage and ect no vibrate)
2. i still can't find operator menu (use to called 'layanan data')
(note: i'm using proXL operator, indo), which is i can't use mobile banking in my phone.
the rest is working just find, but it will be nice if there is a setting for touchflo2d, for changing it's style.

A stable rom with nice features,but it has the same problem with bluetooth in this version,failure connected to headset and bluetooth speaker.

Here is the Phone Canvas taken directly from HTC Mega.
Warning/Notes :
Uninstall any previously installed phone canvas cabs.
Dialer supports only portrait mode. As of now, no landscape support!
If phone canva is already cooked into the ROM, then there are possibilities to fail the work of phone canvas, better to tell your ROM creator/developer to upgrade the phone canvas.
As I have tested in WinMo 6.5 also, the phone canvas doesn't conflict with lockscreen since the old phone canvas was but I'm NOT SURE that it will be same on your device too.
Can be used on both, WinMo 6.1 and 6.5.
Please make backup before installing and I'm not responsible if something goes wrong.
The dialer is only for GSM device(s). Don't use on/for CDMA device(s)
The dialer is only 2G supported. No support for 3G!
The dialer is only made for QVGA devices with screen size of 240 X 320.
Packed directly from HTC Mega oems which was provided by da_g.
Problem installing cab? OK no worries, try stopping the process "cprog.exe" with FdcSoft Task Manager. Ones the process stops, install the cab.

There are some 3rd party app to uninstall the installed cab but I don't know exactly.

I installed this and it all works fine then i get a call up pops the screen with the buttons locked and two silly buttons on the front which seem to defeat the whole point of having the lock as these keys touch the side of my face and the call ended

My bad on previous upload, it was the test version which had Bootlauncher all messed up.
Uploaded the correct one. (third one's a charm, right?)
This is basically an Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM for Iolite with the most HTC Mega packages, but now fully corrected, regarding all known issues including Bluetooth, Wifi, Camera and Album issues.

Known bugs:
MSTag not working;
"Finger-mouse" does not exist for build 23016, so don't ask.
This ROM has the most HTC Mega's packages in it. However, there were some of them that either had to be completely removed or replaced by Iolite ones in order to work properly.
Had to add some Iolite packages aswell, 'cause HTC Mega doesn't have some of the Iolite's features (like the scroll navigation button) and therefore some Iolite packages were required to be included.

thanks mate i'll try the new one, keep up the good work one other thing I couldnt get microsoft voice control to load on the last rom ( not enough permission ) or something like that any chance you could check it out. but may work on latest build i'll give it a go and report back.
also 3g covrerage in my area is terrible, want to switch back to 2g i've searched and searched but everything i've tried so far does'nt work can you suggest anthing that would work please

Try holding the pen down a little longer... Some delay seems to occur under File Explorer...
This occurs 'cause I had to implement some Iolite packages and sometimes they conflict with each other, thus resulting in small touch delays under some menus.
As for Bluetooth, it's working. The icon doesn't show up, but you can turn Bluetooth on and off at Connections and sync it with other devices.

bluetooth don't work from comm manager (can't turn on bluetooth) but working from settings>bluetooth.and also car kit mode opens navi panel but don't open bluetooth automatically
also wi-fi not working from comm manager but i used g77 wifi fix and now it's working.grrrrrrreat job.i'll keep testing and keep you updated.

bugs:delays in some programs as mentioned before
bluetooth don't work from comm manager (can't turn on bluetooth) but working from settings>bluetooth.and also car kit mode opens navi panel but don't open bluetooth automatically
also wi-fi not working from comm manager but i used g77 wifi fix and now it's working.grrrrrrreat job.i'll keep testing and keep you updated.

Regarding Bluetooth not working from Comm Manager, I cannot fix that.
Regarding Bluetooth not starting once you go Car Kit Mode, Bluetooth starts, it's just the icon that doesn't show up.
Regarding Wi-fi, once more I thank g77 for his work. Great man. Had to be "tuga"...

Marketplace needs activation code, you can get it at MS chat, but who needs marketplace now

what to hell installed you 5 min. ??? it´s boring me ......... I will test it, but better are a clean rom.
.... And hey, f...... i have thinked is really unlocked to enter the market place and windows live + hotmail...........

There is NO solution to unlock marketplace! Because WE DON'T NEED IT. Just ask for activation code and thats all, I got mine in 5 minutes from USA MS Support Chat.
Somebody could confirm that installs apps hangs? For me it works, but installs so long.

just flashed this rom thats 3 roms today ive flashed and they just get better and better and with signal fix working on each rom keep it up you are the best
Can just anyone confirm that ther is no signal lost? I mean that the fix is not just for streinght nor for quality too?
i have had this fix on from when it came out so yesterday and up until now so signal dropping or anything it works !!!!!
The signal fix may depend on your service provider.

bad thing! i have pressed erasse nand and it stuck on 88%!!!! i need to check all and uncheck efs2 and efs2ap. before i had everything double times now i have all once. can u give me tg_downloader screen how should i do it. I am using your mirom7
EDIT: strange phone booted to wm normaly :S hmmm the acer drivers in folder by jool i have didnt instaled right. I am using xp/32-bit And what is that bin? what to do with that?

noting need to check/uncheck on tg downloader. just put to dl mode= power off or battery pull out. press and hold cam then press and hold power button= white led
then select the wp7boot.bin and press start download .........
WHY you not use the method from QUIN ........ its safe, you have nothing to ersae and blabla .......

first flash a 0321 Radio rom, standard with ssdl method.
then cam + power to dl mode. then over tg downloader flash the wp7bootloader.
now you have the wp7bootloader. press cam + power= blue led. Install common downloader, install acer driver. select multi download, with browse select
the three files ifrom same folder : flash.bin (wp7 rom), NPRG8650.hex and partition.mbn. check it with advanced .... go to refresh and select start all wait 25 min= wp7
