Hi everyone
I'm new to this message board and need some help I hope some one can help. Ok here goes I have today tried flashinng the ROM on the SPV M1000 which is the same phone as an XDAII just orange branded.. when I went to teh orange site and downloaded the rom update v3.66.1.230 and followed the instructions and got the following error message ERROR 120 : COUNTRY ID ERROR 0-0-4-4-4 and the phone / Pda is constantly stuck on and on the screen of the phone it reads Serial on the top of the screen and v1.06 at the bottom.
can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem. I'm not very technically minded when it comes to these things so instructions in laymans terms would be greatly appreciated.

the unit is stuck in what is known as bootloader mode.
Did download the rom that matches your contry of origin, ie uk for uk phones.
I flash these units all the time at work and dont have a problem.
You can sometimes get the phone out of bootloader by re-running the upgrade. Try downloading it again and running it.

Talk to Orange, pay them money, they will unlock for you.

tried an orange sim card but it appears to stay locked!! :shock: does the orange sim card have to be from the same country as the phone?
ok i swiftly turned on the flight mode now i can browse

used the registry editor to change values to
HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001001 = 1 (RAPI)
HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001005 = 40 (Cert)
which I assume unlocked security ( as culd not do online)

Ok , edited the registry settings and that worked out ok, downloaded the SPV Developers Services Kit , extracted all the files to my desktop. made sure active synch connection is alive, Orange Simcard inserted. I run the simlock function , request pops up on the phone , agree and then i get
Unknown error -2147467259 in read operation in the SPV Developers Services
any suggestions ? I tried hard resetting my phone and tried again , but same result..dunno really
edit : doh , 5 more minutes and i wouldnt have had to post .. The Cert.Cab included in the SPV Dev. Serv. Kit has to be executed from the phone b4 you can run the unlock tool. NFO file with these instructions would be useful but heh beggars cant be choosers....Working !!!!!!!
how did you turn on the flight mode without card?
you have to press the on button really quickly, as the phone is still booting

I just tried the upgrade for my Orange SPV m1500 - the HimaupgradeUT.exe application that I downloaded from this site.
I'm getting an Error 100, which is supposed to mean it's not the right version for my phone.
Now the thing won't even switch on or even hard reset.

I bought the m600 two weeks ago and read about the unlocking in the Wiki. I folowed the steps but it seems that after executing lokiwizMSL.bat and pressing enter to start it lokiwiz can't find my mobile phone, it says: cant find path. While it was connected with activesync. after this it says its unlocked, but i cant find the code anywhere
Does anybody knows what I could have done wrong?

I tried to unlock the Prophet again, for some times. I Copied the cab's from the Utils folder in the Lokiwiz03a.zip file to my Prophet and executed them.
(The two files : "Cert_SPCS.cab" and "EnableRapi.cab")
But I keep receiving the message ".....kan opgegeven pad niet vinden" (cant find path)

That's the problem about G4 devices! It seems that HTC has changed the path for unlocking so we have to wait for a new unlocking solution for our G4 devices!

Unlocking my SPV M600 from Orange
Hi. I'm from Argentina and travel a lot because I guide motorcycle tours in South America. I use different cell phones all over south america.
I mainly use my SP in Argentina (CTI Movil)
My girlfriend bought me (yes you can say I'm a lucky guy ) this beautiful M600 in France with Mobicart. I tried to unlocked it usind the lokiwizMSL 0.3 but did not work. The message was that the path was not found.
I installed the cabs in the PDA and this erased the picture in the desktop.
After that I ran again de lokiwiz, and had the same answer. The path is not found and did not deliver the precious code. The PDA was connected at all times. It also says that ECHO is disconnected. I have no idea what ECHO is (sorry )
Do we still have to wait for a new version of the loki software? Is there any other way? Can you help this southern beginner?????

I've just unlocked my M600 ORANGE.
I used lokiwizMSL 0.3 on my desktop PC (ACTIVESYNC V 4.5)... That does not worked... I used lokiwizMSL 0.3 in my notebook (ACTIVESYNC V4.2) and It woked very well : I've got the precious number !
Know I put my SFR sim into it... That's OK
So... If your PC says "path is not found" try to unlock your M600 into an other PC !!!

G4 = "Disk On Chip" is a other Version.
G4 unlock with Lokiwiz: Activesync 4.2
I have Prophet G4 and unlocked with the Lokiwiz software (I don't know which version anymore, I unlocked ± 1 year ago).
I used Activesync 4.2, definitely not 4.5
Good chance that M$ added (bij accident of course) a minor surprise in their latest Activesync version.
4.2 can be downloaded on several places, f.i. here

More problems with my SPV M600
Someone has given me a PDA (SPV M600 or Qtek S200) but he tried to upgrade it to wm6. Unfortunately he doesn't know everything about it because this PDA is 4G and he tried the sequence as the PDA was 3G.
The thing is, in the middle of the process the machine starts to run but it is blocked and the screen shows:
Orange:
IPL 2.21.0001
SPL 2.21.0001
GSM 0.2.19.21
OS 1.0.13.21
After do a hard reset the message is always the same. I can't do anything!!
What could I do?

If anyone is interested, I used activesync 4.1, the disk came with my SPV.
Hi matesi allready unlocked and flashed english rom with many SOFTBANK HERM200 ( X01HT ) but today i tryed to unlock to same model phone all process sucsess full and flashed with english rom sucsessfully. but now phone saying YOU HAVED TRIED 45 times,please wait until time out then i leave the phone for 48 hours with non accepted sim card but still same message and i unable to enter code how can i solve this problem?
