Hello. I have a MDA Compact 2 and i want to update to WM6 Ridingshark TouchFLO German version.
I have an G4 Device with the IPL/SPL 3.08.0001 (AKU 3.3 T-Mobile German Rom).
Can i update to WM6 without Cid/Sim unlock and reflash to original WM5 AKU 3.3 if nessacary ?

Du brauchst irgendein WM5 ab akku 2 Also 3.3 ist OK. Dann musst du nur die in dem Ordner enthaltenen CAB Dateien installieren, einen Softreset machen und die batch Datei (.bat) ausführen. Dann machen was da steht. Hinterher ein Hardreset und alles ist gut.
Du musst gar nichts entsperren, es geht auch mit sim und cdi lock.
Du kannst dir merken, das das in allen neuen Charmer ROMs immer gleich ist.
English:
You need any WM5 on your Device. Then install the cabs outz of the ROM folder, do a softreset and run the .bat file. Then do what is written there. After that an hardreset and everything is good.
You don't need to unlook anything. It works with all looks.
In all new Charmer ROMS it is always the same.
Hallo nochmal. Habe jetzt WM6 drauf. Gibt es denn auch eine deutsche WM6 Version ohne TouchFlo. Ich finde das bremst den sowiso schon recht langsamen Charmer ganz schön aus.
Kann man von WM6 denn ohne weiteres wieder auf WM5 flashen (AKU 3.3 von T-Mobile) oder muss man dabei irgendwas beachten?
Tut mir leid, dass ich auf deutsch schreibe, aber bevor ich mir meinen Charmer kaputt mache, frage ich lieber so nach, dass ich auch alles verstehe.

Zweiter VErsuch mit SoftSPL problemlos:
SoftSPL runterladen
nk.nbf aus dem rom nehmen und ins SoftSPL Verzeichnis packen
START-sSPL.exe ausführen,
warten bis der Bildschirm(am Wizard) weiss wird
und DANN, aber auch wirklich nur wenn der Screen weiss ist, die weiteren Schritte mit dem PDA Phoner ROM Update Utility ausführen(startet automatisch)
Hab so ohne Probleme dass Rom von Pansen aufgespielt und mittlerweile schon ein paar andere mit SoftSPL zum TEsten daufgepackt, jedesmal problemlos

if i also right understand, so i can directly update my "VPA compact 2" without the detour above first the Love-ROM and than the T-Mobile-ROM, so i can direct start the installation of a new ROM with SoftSPL, if SoftSPL is running and i see the white Screen. That's also right?
Is there somthing to note above a maybe SIM-Lock or is it irrelevant by updating to WM6?
(Yeah, updating an MDA1 is verry easy against it... )

Kann mir mal einer sagen wie ich auf meinen G3 Version 1 was installiere?
Ich habe dieses Lockiwiz2 runtergeladen und bei dem Active Sync auf dateien geklickt und dann hinzugefügt. Jetzt ist Lokiwiz.bat Utils und EnableRapi.cab zwar drauf aber ich habe keine Ahnung wie ich die jetzt ausfürhren soll.
Wenn ich jetzt z.b. auf Lokiwiz.bat klicke sagt er mir, das er mit keiner Anwendung verbunden sei.
und wenn ich das denn hätte, wo finde ich denn "T-Mobile WM5 AKU 2.2 and thereafter i had 2.20.xx" um auf dieses "WM6 can only be installed with an V2 Bootloader (IPL/SPL 2.x.xxx) or higher!!." zu kommen.
Wenn ich das denn alles hätte wo installiere ich denn bitte WM6?
Bei MDA bin ich recht frisch, wie ich Motorolas etc. die Software änder das ist alles easy aber hier stehe ich irgendwie auf den Schlauch.

I bought a english htc touch dual inevpensive ( 230 € ) fom ebay, but the english T9 is killing me and so i would like to flash my nike with a german WM6.. if it´s posible for sure

but this is a Dumped rom and i need to flash it by using HardSPL, right?
i have a original HTC touch dual is it necessery to use HardSPL or/and an CID unlocker?
or is an origial German ROM available so that i really need no CID or HardSPL?

Ich sags dir auf Deutsch ... das ist einfacher!
CID = Country ID Das bedeutet, die Geräte werden für ein bestimmtes Land gebranded! Hast du jetzt ein CID WWE Gerät, wirst du auch kein echtes Deutsches Rom drauf bekommen! So einfach ist es!
Ergo ohne Hard SPL oder CID Unlock wirst du kein anderst Sprachiges Rom drauf bekommen.

hey... danke für deine antwort.. ich habe sslp auf das gerät geladen, nur muss ich jetzt HardSLP mit dem utility draufpacken... wenn ich allerdings updaten möchte, dann kann ich mir nciht aussuchen welches datei ich flashen möchte.. wollte ja die HardSLP 1.15 draufpacken.
er zeigt immer flash to 1.0.0 oder so
muss ich einfach die datet hardSPL-1.15-nike.nbh in den ordner kloppen und die alte da rauslöschen?
p.s. wie erkenne ich, dass ich dann die HardSPL 1.15 auf dem touch dual habe?

Du kopierst SSPL auf ein verzeichnis im Phone ... nicht auf die SD Karte etc ... das ist wichtig!
Dann kannst du Hard SPL Flashn ... du siehst im RUU Uploader irgend was von 1.00.00 oder so ... ignoriers!
Wenns fertig geflashed ist ... einfach das Deutsche Dump Rom drüber! Der RUU Uploader geht direkt ins SPL und du siehst dann HardSPL 1.15.
Es ist nicht so schwer ... sobald HardSPL drauf ist ... kann man nicht mehr viel falsch machen!
ja, aber ich habe ja HardSPL einzelnd gesaugt im ordner von ROMUpdateUtility lieht eine andere nbh : uspl-1.16-nike.nbh .. die glaube ich habe die ausversehen geflashed... kann ich die uspl-1.16 einfach aus dem ordner löschen dann die HardSPL.nbh rein und die dann drüber flashen?

nimm den ordner wo hardspl-1.16-nike drin ist und kopier das 15er mfg nbh file in den order - lösche das 16er nbh und ab geht die post.

This is exactly the same problem/question, which i had, when i tried to flash my nike. I didn't understand how it works, to flash the hardspl instead of uspl, because there is no explicit explanation of this procedure, even not in NetRUNNER's tutorial. accordingly i tried to solve this by doin my own experiments (with a risk), but however it worked, when i copied enterbootloader and hardslp-1.15mfg-nike.nbh in the same directory in my phone-memory and started enterbootloader. I don't know, if this is the right way, but it worked.
If i dont know, what is the problem ... i cant explane! My english is poor!
What is what!
SSPL means ... a Secure Unlocked SPL is load to a Virtual Ram Adress and start it! Its not burned to the ROM.
USPL means ... its a Secure Unlocked SPL but its Flashed to the ROM. The main difference betwen HardSPL and USPL ... USPL can be over write!
HardSPL means ... its Secure Unlocked and cant be over write with a normal SPL! If you want over write, you need a Started SSPL on your device.
Difference betwen HardSPL and HardSPLmfg ... the HardSPL 1.16 was the first Version. He does only ignore the CID of your Rom you want Flash. HardSPL 1.15mfg support via MTTY more Commandos. You need it for tests ... unbrick a Damage Device and a lot of hacks we try in the moment!
mfg is a better version but a dangarous version if you mess via MTTY a round. Some commandos can instandly kill your device for ever! HardSPL1.16 cant do it, but some hacks are not possible!
I provide soon a Moded RUU. Then are all questions about SSPL ... USPL and HardSPL are useless ^_^

I come from Germany and my english isn`t good ...
In feb´09 i bought my htc touch pro from the german vodafon with rom version 1.93.
The update from 1.93 to 1.97 works fine without any problems. but the update to htc´s version 2.03 didn`t work. (error 244 -> wrong id)
After reading a few manuals i know non vodafon roms working only by installing HardSPL.
I tested a few SPL`s form Jockyw2001 built 1.23, 1.24 and 1.34 but each installing returns with error 244
The same is with the HarSPL from Olinex with built 1.38, 1.40, 1.90 and 1.93.
all turns back with error 244 -> wrong id
The only one who works to install ins the 1.90.
After installing stand in the 3 Color Boot Screen:
RAPH100
SPL_1.90.OliNex
MicroP-Raph (LED) v13
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v5
PSOC-Raph STAGE_CVT v0x36

But now i can`t install the 2.03 rom and all selfcooked roms too.
The installer return with errorcode 244 again.
Can some tell me what i do wrong ???

Ich habe mir im Feb bei Vodafon ein HTC Touch Pro geholt (damals mit firmware 1.93).
Auf die offizielle Version 1.97 von vdf konnte ich dann auch ohne probs updaten. aber sonnst
rennt leider garnichts ...
Ich hab mich schon durch diverse tut durchgeackert aber ich bin leider nicht wirklich fündig geworden.
Ich weiß, das ich zum flashen eines anderen rons eine HardSPL brauche. aber ich bekomme leider keine
installiert.
von Jockeyw2001 habe ich die versionen 1.23, 1.24 und 1.34 verucht aber immer kam die meldung error 244 (falsche device id)

Well, first of all, you tried to flash a bunch of hard spl's for different devices. I'm not sure how you say 'dumb' in German, but sorry, don't just go flashing random things to your phone. The only one to flash to a gsm touch pro is 1.90 Olinex. Sounds like you lucked out and didn't kill your phone. Quit while you're ahead.
Thanks for informing me that the 1.90 the only right HardSPL for the Raphael (Touch Pro) is and that i should lucky that i not killed my phone.
But why i can`t install (after installing HardSPL 1.90) the original Rom 2.03 from HTC or anyone else ???

Serial Nummer für den Download. Auch für das Original muss dein Telefon HardSPL haben. Du hast ein Vodafon Handy und das akzeptiert kein Original HTC ROM ohne HardSPL.

Da muß ich ja glück gehabt haben, das ich mir mein touch pro nicht geschrottet habe ...
Vielen dank für deinen Versuch mir zu helfen ... hatte sogar dir falsche HardSPL auf meinem pro installiert .
So, nu hat`s auch endlich mit dem Update auf die 2.03 geklappt.
Sag mal was finden die Leute eigendlich alle an der touch Flo 3D Oberfläche ??? ich fand die damals relativ langsam und habe es auch nicht hinbekommen eine tastatursperre zu aktivieren ... hat sich da jetzt bei der 2.03er was dran geändert ???
Werde die jetzt erstmal in ruhe antesten.

Ich hab halt das ROM wie in meiner Sig erwähnt, drauf. Hab also immer noch TF3D aber in Version 2. Das ROM ist vom leaked 6.5 und wirklich Fingerfriendly. Auch wenn ich auf Start gehe kommen weitere Symbole und nicht dieses Windows Klappmenu wo es ohne Stift nicht weitergeht.
Eine Tastensperre ist in 6.5 eingebaut und wenn nicht kannst du ja immer noch S2U2 nehmen das ist umsonst und sperrt zuverlässig den Screen.
Persönlich find ich TF3D ok mir gefällt die ursprüngliche 6.5 Oberfläche Titanium nicht so gut.
Mit den neuen ROMs ob original oder custom ist der TouchPro auch wesentlich schneller und besser zu bedienen als vorher.
Ich suche ne deutsche WM6.1 version für das xda trion...
Kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen???
