Battery power remaining - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

Hello,
When I used to check the battery status on my previous pda, complementary to the green bar there was always the value in percentage. But with Touch Pro, I only get to see the green bar without the remaining percentage value. Does anyone know if it's possible to display that info??
I just notice that I made a mistake and posted this thread on the Raphael Rom development instead of puting in the main Raphael rom. If someone could move this thread it would be great.

try to use green battery or any other additional software
Regards
B.

Use a program called batti, puts a tiny bar at the top of your screen displaying power level and when you tap it, it give precise details on battery levels

I use this one... looks pretty neat:

Just consider 1 green notch as 10%

Consider this too:
FInixNOver VGA Battery/Network Icons

Thanks for the post, that worked well.

Hmm, I installed the FInixNOverBatteryIconsOnly.cab and now instead of the battery icon I have permanently the "connected to the power" icon. Even when I disconnect it from the power the icon remains the same.
On top of that, supposedly this cab would only change the battery icon, but instead also change the Gprs icon...

Did you install version 4?
That should only change your battery icon.

Battery % level can be seen without installing 3rd party apps

Supposedly only changes the battery icon and nothing to do with network connection icons

You're right, sorry my bad, didn't properly read that.
Maybe you can contact the author, and tell him about it.
[EDIT] I took a look at the file, but the network icons seem to be the original.

Appologies, its part of Resco Explorer. Didn't realise that is was not part of WM6.1 as i've always had Resco installed.

Yup I tried that same FInixNOver Battery Icon only cab and instead of changing by battery icon it only changed my gprs and edge icons... something I didn't want....

i ended up loving ariel battery indicator,

This dll (wapi-openssl.dll) for TNETW1251.dll. More precisely, I can not say.
Just cooked them into my 2.16 HTC ROM.
Works so far.
Nice, if the Topaz is charging and you press the power off button, it shows a charging battery symbol on the screen.

coool thnanks
looks great waiting for it!
Cooked already 21609, flashed,
In Oem Drivers, there are a few Ring files missing, compared to 2.17., also no welcomehead file, this returns a blank screen when reseting, I think you can get from another Oem folder
Also the Battery sign while charging moves from one side to another, from time to time like a screen protector

first, sorry if it is a stupid cuestion;
I am happy with the original 6.5 stock Rom but i want to build in this new driver set for the Topaz.
So i take ervius kitchen and dumpet the stock Rom to replace the files with this new ones.
question:
In the original dumped stock ROM in the driver folders is in each folder an *.dll file and in the OEMDrivers 2.18 in these same folder isn´t any *.dll file. If i replace only every existing folders and files and keep this original dll´s will it work if i build again the Rom file or should i replace everyting without the dll´s like it comes in the new driver package?
thank´s for any help

Which apps should i get?

just sent in my "defective" phone (hardware locked) and got a new one today that isn't hardware locked (yay)... and i forgot what apps i had... so does anyone wanna give me suggestions for good apps... paid/free doesn't matter
what i have so far
Advanced Task Killer
Beautiful Widget
GPS Test
Quadrant
ESPN Widget
i need a battery app, i had one before that i liked but can't find it again, so can someone suggest one to me, it MUST have the percentage shown as an icon on the top
BattStat. It's a battery widget.
Rather than install a duplicative battery widget why not root your phone and change the icon already on the task bar to show the percentage? There should be a number of posts with options on this site if you search.
I'd also add Rom Manager (clockwork) and Root Explorer to your list.

Aren't apps based on your needs? Not your needs based on apps?
And battery replacement icons are all over and provided through MetaMorph too, try to search once and awhile.

It just depends on your personal preference,
I personally like,
Nimbuzz
Fringg
Metamorph
Google Voice
Rom Manager
Launcher Pro
For montoring battery status, space left on SD, internal memory or free ram, I used to use SysTray Monitor. It puts a percent in the notification area for one of these four things. I used it on my MT3G to show SD space. I then used it on my Vibrant for the correct battery charge until I found the Circular Battery Clockword mod. That shows the battery percent and, more importantly, it is accurate.
Eggz
Talking Tom Cat
Twidoyd
Urbanspoon
Wertago
Sim Checker
Movie Downloader (Ability to download movies directly to phone instead of just playing them)
NFL Game Center
Asphalt
Backbreaker
Air Hockey

CHT has a State Indicator Add-On, which includes a battery temperature indicator quicklink.
May not be exactly what you are after, but this works well and essentially tells you the devices temperature, as the battery is what makes it hot or not.
I thought the new diffrent temp/memory quicklinks in cht only linked you to a program of which you have installed on your device?
In my case they doesnt even launch when I hit any of them... but on the other hand I dont have such programs installed atm.
So then Ive got a bug , if what you say is right.

MMhhh, it works on all WinMo devices with HTC Sense pretty much.
Manila (Sense) 2.5 on a WVGA or VGA device is required.
HVGA port also available.
Or you can check out SpoonCharge as well for a full screen battery monitor.

[Q] Is there a way to be able to show both the batttery status AND the digital clock?

As you may know, the top black bar is showing your bluetooth, wifi, signal strength, and battery icons. However you have a choice between the digital clock or your battery status (almost like a togge). I know that the reason of the toggle and not allowing both is a space issue, but i never use bluetooth and i would much rather have a clock and battery status insted of a useless bluetooth one. Is there a way to put both clock AND battery icons on the top?
BattClock.
You can download a custom taskbar I use diniks taskbar
Battclock is the best.
below is my post configuring Battclock to suit my needs,

Google Batt line service
It puts a very thin line above the task bar and represents the charge on your battery, it totally kicks ass, I used it always before I switched to the newer 6.5.x builds.
You will love it.
