CHT has a State Indicator Add-On, which includes a battery temperature indicator quicklink.
May not be exactly what you are after, but this works well and essentially tells you the devices temperature, as the battery is what makes it hot or not.

I thought the new diffrent temp/memory quicklinks in cht only linked you to a program of which you have installed on your device?
In my case they doesnt even launch when I hit any of them... but on the other hand I dont have such programs installed atm.
So then Ive got a bug , if what you say is right.

And for other devices?

MMhhh, it works on all WinMo devices with HTC Sense pretty much.
Manila (Sense) 2.5 on a WVGA or VGA device is required.
HVGA port also available.
Or you can check out SpoonCharge as well for a full screen battery monitor.

BattClock has temp indicator

All test realised on my G4 CID-unlocked Prophet with PDAViet 4.0.0.0.3 ROM
i want to install the home plug in but it EATS memory :s
its 2 mb
HomePlug is slow as hell.
My phone takes like 100 secs to turn on until it is usable. Even the pin asteriks show after something like 5 sec after I press the key, windows folder shows up on something like 30 seconds. My phone become almost unusable.
after testing the home plug;
ITS GREAT
just use that cab of page 4 or 5 of that threat.
but its slow if you don't have a lot of disk memory because it uses //windows
gone try that theme now
Is it possible to use HTC Audio Manager on Prophet with WM5??
New HTC apps tested
Hi guys,
I installed and tested these new goodies. Here is my report (idea)
1) New dial pad skin: looks nice, but not much better than standard. I want to have bigger pictures, and with this skin the pictures are awfully small. So, I uninstlled again, at least I tried and it didn't work. i had to make a hard reset!
2) HTC home plug in: this app has nice features, but there is no option to change the color or to use a transparent color. You cannot have some other app as the top of your today apps, which I don't want. It slows down my S200. So, I uninstlled again.
3) HTC audio manager: not bad, but since you need again more than 1 Mb and it doesn't give me much more than mediaplayer, I uninstalled again.
4) HTC power tray. I unistalled immediately since I didn't see any advantage.
5) HTC comm manager. I kept this one, since I like the skin more than the awful colors of the standard and since 8 buttons is enough until we find a good solution for IP Phone.
Any other opinion is always welcomed!
my $0.02
1. Personally I like the new dialler. For some strange reason you cannot uninstall it when it is in use. However.
NO NEED TO HARD RESET!
...just install a different dialler, then you can uninstall this one.
2.Home plug in ...same sentiments as you...Good - looking but very slow. (like my ex. lol). Got rid of that for now.
3. Audiomanager.Keeping this one on... I like it. Not really anything special but at least a new look and none of that stupid choosing "my library" that you get in WMplayer. It is relatively big, and slow though.
4, 5. Not tried these yet. No need, really...
Working Great on My 818 Pro.
Great apps,....

I read though the thread you linked to .. And i saw that someone was able to flash a HTC Touch rom to a Wizard! He said that i had some few bugs like the keyboard and small joypad not working Then i thought.. wouldn't it be more likely that it would fit on the Prophet ? I mean, toch and prophet looks more like each other than wizard and touch does..
BIOTOUCH working kinda
I've instaled the Biotouch from here
http://www.4winmobile.com/forums/hermes-black-rom-support/9828-att-developers-porting-touchflo-elf-hermes-2.html
and the dailer and Default Theme from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311225
only thin that I cant get to load is the quickdail
it is kind of slow at the moment, but I'll include it in the extrom for PADViet which will make it a bit faster.
the only real downside of these new apps is the slow bootup of the phone but I don't see that as a big prob..... I'm not gona restar the phone that often

WM6 - VGA ?!!??

Hi there,
I flashed succefully my Athena X7500 to WM6.
Now I'm searching for screen resolution. Where can I change it? Isn't it possible to change to 640x480 with installing any separated application?
Best Regards,
netzzwerg
I dont think WM6 has true VGA.
All I can find is an extra menu option on PocketIE to use hires mode, nothing else though
try mvr true vga 1.3 works a treat....
^Can you attach the setup file for TrueVga 1.3

Sorry, I guess bad moment
here are some screen shots with MvrTrueVga... While it adds some more screen space, with my eyes its a little too small for most apps. You can modify the font size, but then its too big when you switch back to qvga...It has some uses, but now with IE's high res and font size adjustment, I don't use it much. I used to use it a lot with my universal though.
Hi eagle1,
Try using MVR 1.2..I found it better than 1.3.Were u able to get Windowslive working..?
I installed MVRTrueVga 1.3 and Windows Live is not working properly with it.
Also It has problem showing windows live today's plugin...
Version 1.2 used to run Windows Live correctly including the today's plugin.
Also note that some satnavs (based on Igo My Way) don't work in true VGA mode - you have to switch first

Has anyone else tried 1.2?
On WM5 Ameo I used to have 1.3 on, but whenever I switched back the WLM Today plugin would be horrendously slow.
Now that I'm on WM6, I think I'll stick with QVGA. Pocketbreeze is still nice and small but I sometimes had trouble whilst not sat down that when I tried to click the volume icon i'd miss and hit the signal indicator, or vice verca on VGA.
I installed the windows live 5.0 cab file (i used on my universal) over the top of the install in wm6.
It works now
I have installed 1.3 on WM6 , and the problem I get is that the Phone Dialler is about a cm north where it should be , meaning you can't see the numbers you dial
I am a bit slow , am I missing something here ? or has anyone else had this problem ?
Please, show schreenshot of backlight setting screen in VGA mode.

you cant adjust the sliders. try using pocketplus as that has a slider icon on the today screen to adjust brightness so can easy adjust. without this or similar vga is useless but an easy fix. sure other programs have this feature too but i use pocketplus and very useful if your outdoors to turn right up.

Battery power remaining

Hello,
When I used to check the battery status on my previous pda, complementary to the green bar there was always the value in percentage. But with Touch Pro, I only get to see the green bar without the remaining percentage value. Does anyone know if it's possible to display that info??
I just notice that I made a mistake and posted this thread on the Raphael Rom development instead of puting in the main Raphael rom. If someone could move this thread it would be great.
try to use green battery or any other additional software
Regards
B.
Use a program called batti, puts a tiny bar at the top of your screen displaying power level and when you tap it, it give precise details on battery levels
I use this one... looks pretty neat:

Hmm, I installed the FInixNOverBatteryIconsOnly.cab and now instead of the battery icon I have permanently the "connected to the power" icon. Even when I disconnect it from the power the icon remains the same.
On top of that, supposedly this cab would only change the battery icon, but instead also change the Gprs icon...

Appologies, its part of Resco Explorer. Didn't realise that is was not part of WM6.1 as i've always had Resco installed.
Yup I tried that same FInixNOver Battery Icon only cab and instead of changing by battery icon it only changed my gprs and edge icons... something I didn't want....

[App][12/Dec/10][v1.3] SpoonCharge - Fullscreen Battery Monitor & Torch [+Sourcecode]

[App][12/Dec/10][v1.3] SpoonCharge - Fullscreen Battery Monitor & Torch [+Sourcecode]
SpoonCharge - Fullscreen Battery Monitor
Introduction
This is an application which displays the current battery information in large text. It also doubles as a fullscreen torch application.
I wrote it so I could see from a distance what the charge level was, and how fast the battery was charging.
The colour of the text also changes depending on levels, and temperature.
This has only been tested on a Diamond2, but works with many other devices. Not all features work on certain ROMs or Phones, and it generally helps to have a rom with 1% power driver installed. Some people have seen the app working fine without this.
It's based on Joel Johnson's article at CodeProject, but translated/refactored from Visual Basic to C#.
Version History
v1.0 24/4/10
Initial release
v1.01 26/4/10
Detect AC adapter status, not use negative battery current
v1.2 02/5/10
Add Fullscreen mode (menu and statusbar hidden)
Add Nightmode (screen turns black, higher contrast in low light situations)
Add Torch functionality from SpoonTorch (white fullscreen, maximum brightness)
Detect charge status and current more accurately
Change charge speed messages (<100ma=Trickle,<200ma=Slow,<450ma=Medium,<600=Fast,>599=Very Fast)
Ability to change refresh interval
v1.3 16/5/10
Add time to screen
v1.3 Source 12/12/10
Source code released
Requirements
* Needs .NET Compact Framework 2.0+.
* Should work on all Windows Mobile 5 and above devices.
* Non-touchscreen compatible (Windows Mobile Standard).

I'm sure you need a hacked 1% battery driver installed, for this app to work correctly. So either do that on your stock ROM.... or flash a custom rom

Yes, it doesn't detect AC adapters at the moment - just assumes that if the battery is losing current it isn't connected to AC/USB. I will change this at some point.
