Help! Data Broken - Alltel - Cannot Connect for Unknown Reason - DCD & Stock Rom! - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

Hello Everyone!
Firstly I would like to say thank you for the amazing input you put into this site - I have gone *very* far on the path to learning about my PPC 6800 just from reading past posts.
Problem
When trying to use data services on a Sprint Mogul configured for Alltel - Dialing #777 results in a "Cannot connect for unknown reason" message.
Voice and Text works fine.
Current Setup
PPC 6800 - SPC Reset to 000000 via QPST
oliPro 2.4
Radio 3 42 50
DCD 3 2 6
Alltel Carrier Cab 20080824 (I simply double clicked to install this right?)
PRL: 30031 and 40036 tried
ALWAYS ROAMING (I'm never in an Alltel Area)
Windows Connections settings: Alltel Wireless - #777 - login: [email protected] pass: alltel domain: empty
My Flash Steps
1) hard reset
2) Installed olipro 2.4 (and even tried with no2chem 2 47) via RUU
3) Flashed alltel Stock 3.35.671.9 with Radio via RUU
4) Let customizations run
Data at this point does not work but has (last week!!)
5) install radio 3 42 50 via flash
6) install dcd 3 2 6 via ruu
7) let customizations run
8) double clicked on Alltel carrier 20080824 and installed to device
data says same problem
I've tried a *228 Option 2 (update roam) and Option 3 (activate). No help.
I'm stuck

DATA
MDR Mode: SVC opt 33 Prefd
Service option: Pre 707
Data qnc - unchecked
data scrm - enabled
Mobile IP
Behavior : simple only
mn auth calculation: unchecked
My Questions
1) am I flashing this correctly?
2) Could someone please verify what my DATA and M.IP settings should be in my QPST section?
3) does my HA shared key in EPST have anything to do with this?
Thanks for any guidance or help in getting me setup - I'm hoping that by making stating all my settings nice and clear we can help others that search in solving their problems as well!

DMU Key Reset. Either activate an old phone... wait a bit... get it working... then re-activate the new one. Or... call them.... tell them your phone doesn't get data, and you just did a hard reset. They might be able to fix it for you while you are on the phone.

Case Closed!
I called alltel and asked them to look at at performing a DMU Reset - while looking at my account they realized a few glitches (why they did not catch it before I'm not sure) and made changes.
They included:
Updating my Service Class to Simple IP only
Double Checking my AAA Authentication log and realized that a billing issue was not connected (Damn, they should have left this alone )
Thanks for your help!!1

Lobster gprs settings

I am trying to keep the internet connection open (while some data is transferred) I have set up a dummy email account which sends & receives every 15 mins. This opens the connection but closes before the data is finished.
Is there a registry hack to keep the gprs open for say 5 mins.
Cheers

WiFi not connecting at Work (home OK) on TMous HD2

Mark here.
Thanks in advance for any help offered.
Searched around here and elsewhere since last year & can't find a solution. (please don't copy whole message in reply)
Ideal solution either: 1. Able to store/save settings and password so it does not need to be entered every day (many times) or 2. Load certificate correctly.
I have a TMous HD2 running Energy ROM (Feb 2011 version)
Connects fine to home WiFi's without prompts. Also to about 10 others when traveling - no probs.
It does not connect easily to my work WiFi. I have worked out a method, but I need to re-enter settings and password many times a day. With high security p/w with various characters etc it's a real pain.
To do so, I have setup link to WLANSettings.exe on home screen. I use these settings: 1. Work (not internet), 2. WPA2/AES, 3. PEAP (not Smart card or cert). OK. Then asks for login, password (no domain needed). First time enter login etc it doesn't connect. Second time I've learned to hit OK again and after a few seconds it connects.
If I go though the 'normal' WiFi setup it asks for a Certificate. I enter the server for the cert, password as above and it will not find it. They gave me a cert file ('home grown' PEAP Authority certificate Thawte Premium Server CA) but it loads into Intermediate, not Personal and does not work. Apparently iPhone & iPad link to cert server and install it fine.
Tried:
1. I tried Odyssey (Odyssey Access Client for Windows MobileCE - Juniper Networks ). Helps, but not perfect, but it messes up my home connection. so uninstalled (updated ROM since then)
2. Tried programs to load cert. No go. (p12imprt, pfximprt; smartphoneaddcert). Various error messages - can't remember them - along the lines of not signed, not .pfx cert etc.
3. Exported cert. from PC's (WinXP) Firefox. Can't convert it to a .pfx to use the above.
Work does not support Win Mobile. So no support offered - though they've tried to help.
The settings for my mates Nokia which does work are:
PEAP and the fields are:
Personal certificate: not defined
Authority certificate: Thawte Premium Server CA User name in use: user defined User name: 'must leave blank'
Realm in use: user defined
Realm: 'must leave blank'
Allow PEAPv0: Yes
Allow PEAPv1: Yes
Allow PEAPv2: No
Under MSCHAPv2 within PEAP settings are
User name : your 'username'
Prompt password: no
Password: your 'password'
Have tried following also (rough notes):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\EAP\Extension\25.
"InvokePasswordDialog" and "InvokeUserNameDialog" value 1, switch to 0. Works till restart.
go to commMan/ menu/ settings set work & proxy or commMan/Conns/conns
changed to HKLM, gone to directory comm\EAP\extension\25. added a folder called validateservercert and added a key to this folder - DWORD. it asks me to edit the DWORD value - in value data i have added 00000000 and selected hexadecimal.
add the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\EAP\Extension\25] and [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\EAP\Extension\26]

Mmm... 'tis a difficult one.
>"Ideal solution either: 1. Able to store/save settings and password so it does not

Another alternative would be software to manage WiFi login - that saves passwords.
I tried Odyssey, but it messed up home connections. WiFi Monster does not do it.
Anything out there?

[Q] Solution for wireless issues?

I have been having Wifi connectivity issues for some time. Basically, I can use wifi about 4 times before it just stops working.
I get the message "Error" in the settings. The message was "Unable to start Wifi" in Android 2.1.
I've tried SEUS, I'm tried resets, wipes, re-installs, and nothing. I'm not an expert when it comes to seriously technical phone settings but here's some info. I think that maybe my settings are corrupted. From the service menu:
Wifi State: Unknown
Network State: Unknown
Supplicant: Uninitialized
RSSI:-200
Hidden SSID: False
IPaddr: 0.0.0.0
MAC addr: (Blank)
Network ID: -1
Link SPeed: -1 mbps
Scan Results: (blank)
After running ping test
PingIPAddr: Fail - not reachable
Ping Hostname: Fail
HTTP client: Fail: IOException
Also, when I try to go into "Wifi API" and hit "getConfiguredNetworks" nothing happens.
have u rooted ur phone or installed any custom Roms ??
No I haven't, its stock except that it is unlocked. Maybe rooting it will let me take control of things such as these?

[Q] Sprint EVO 3D flashed to Page Plus. Everything works but MMS.

Ok. This is a weird one for me. I bought a EVO 3D off of Ebay with a bad ESN. I didn't care about the ESN since I was going to flash it over to Page Plus anyways. So, I flashed it and got everything running for it...except MMS. Talk, Text, & 3G works fine. I tried creating a default APN settings using giffgaffAPN since I couldn't get to the APN settings by going to Menu-Settings-Mobile Networks (option wasn't there). I put in what I found online as the default settings for the new APN. The APN didn't show up in the list but I didn't see the old APN either so I took it for granted that all was right in the world. I tried downloading a pic I'd received earlier via MMS and still nothing. I was still able to surf on 3G still. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
OS: Android 4.03
Dial ##3282# on your dialer and tap edit mode then enter your msl / spc. Then go to advanced. At the bottom you will have the settings option.
On some roms you can directly change mms setting from the message app>settings
EDIT : I see you edited it yourself.

Note: I just found username under data profile but no place to enter in password, MCC, or MNC.

I think I just figured out a step that I needed to put in. There's a field that says MMS Server URL that's just inside of the advanced menu that's a header like MMSC Setting. I put the MMSC URL into that field and I received those MMS messages that were previously just download. I need to try sending MMS messages now but unfortunately, last night, my SD card failed. I lost 16 gigs of pics (about 3k pics) and movies...including pics of the first time I held my son. Fortunately, most of those are on FB.
Thanks again for all of your help. Hopefully, when I get the new SD card in from IceMonkey.com ( Here's the one I'm getting and there's no referral link so I shouldn't get dinged for this ) and get some of the pics redownloaded, I can test out the send function on MMS.
