Urgent - Please help! - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am in a hurry so have no time to search and investigate in this mater by myself for now!
I have flashed several roms in the past, right now I am running RomeOS 1.40
However I have now sold my device and need to revert to the original rom and SPL!
I have the Swedish rom, but the problem is that the file I have is RUU_Signed.nbh I dont have the wrapper or what it is called so that I can flash my raphael!
Also, do I need to SPL lock the device again? and if so how do I do that?
Last but not least, after flashing RomeOS, I got alot of information on the first screen (You know when you first start the device where it shows the radio version and everything!) But the problem is that I have tried to flash other roms but the information on the first screen is still there!
How do I get rid of it so it looks like the original?
Hope you know what I mean and how to help me!
Thanks in advance!

The wrapper is included in the attached file along with the htc splash screen. the original spl also in there so do the following:
1- extract the zip file and put the customruu + your RUU_Signed.nbh in one folder and run that to get your original rom
2- put now the customruu + htcsplash together and flash to change the splash screen
3- Now use the spl tool to revert to the original spl

Back to original o2-ROM - How?

Hi guys,
i flashed my Rapahel to ROMeOSĀ² v1.05 (B-20748.1.4.0).
Now I would like to sell the phone. What Do I have to do to make the (Roms's)phone look like original that the buyer can (in case of guarantee issues) send it back to the german provider o2.
Thnks guys,
duffy6
Download here my dumped o2 Rom, after flashing the Rom flash the Stock-SPL from here.
Regards,
Chris
Hi!
Thx for your answer. I flashed your dumped o2 file. Worked like a charm.
But flashing the the HardSPL I am a little bit confused. the link you posted says:
UPDATE: STEP BY STEP HOW TO RETURN TO STOCK SPL - FOR WARRANTY REASONS ONLY!
0. be sure to first restore stock OS, and stock radio. stock SPL is always to be done last!!
1. download the stock spl package from this post.
2. also download the original hardspl from the attachments in this post.
3. run the hardspl exe but do not click anything in RUU yet. just let the hardspl EXE extract the files for flashing.
4. the SPL you want to revert to is a .NBH file, put the NBH in the extracted hardspl package, overwriting the original NBH file in it!
5. continue with the RUU (or if needed, run SSPL-Manual.exe manually, then run RUU when it goes to black screen), it goes to 100%, reboots, done.
+6. to verify, volume down + reset, see version number on tricolour screen, should now just say 1.90.0000.
that's it.

Point 1 to 3 is clear. But I don't understand point 4. What should I copy and overwrite?
Can you please explain that to me?
Thnks!

You do not need to understand that as it is a bit confusing. Just one thing copy sspl-manual.exe to the phone and run it on the phone using file explorer or something. then just flash any stock spl you need using RUU. It is easy nothing else needed.
Okay, that means I was wrong by FIRST flashing the original ROM?
So this is how I have to do it now:
FIRST copy the sspl-manual.exe to the phone and execute it on the phone
THEN flashing the original ROM
and that's it?
right?

RAPH Paper weight - SPL

Dear all,
I am facing a problem here.
Had a hardware problem with the built in microphone and had to revert back to stock rom/splash screen/Original SPL in that order.
Had no problems reverting the ROM and the original screen back (just a couple of flashes), BUT when I tried to revert back the stock SPL here http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=110582&d=1220406410
I renamed the file to RAPHIMG.nbh, copied it to the root of the SD Card and entered bootloader mode and this is what it displays:
RAPH100
SPL-1.90.0000 (Which means a successful flash)
!!! AND THEN THIS !!!
"Upgrade ROM code error"
"Please try again"
This message is located in the last part of the green stripe in the tri color screen (bootloader)
It is then followed by the grey screen automatically which you are supposed to press volume key to start a flash process BUT it just HANGS at Loading...
unabling you to flash anything.
It's actually a friend's phone too so I guess you understand how hard it is....
Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance
Possible image might be corrupt on sd card, grey screen is shown when it's trying to read sd, have you tried with sd removed? if you get to 2nd tricolor screen with sd removed i would use usb flash to restore it to working order..

Removed the SD and it stays at the tricolor screen with the spl version as mentioned in 1st post.
Also, displaying the Upgrade ROM code error, please try again message
The mode is currently serial
What can I do from here?

You cannot flash an SPL from the bootloader. You need to use SSPL. The directions can be found in the HardSPL thread.

Hey man, thx for stopping by..
If I understand correctly, SSPL runs through the device which is stuck at bootloader currently... or am I hopefully wrong??
If you're at the tricolor screen and it reads serial, that should be fine.. plug in usb and it should switch to usb.. then flash a stock carrier rom through usb.. that should get you up and running and you can then run sspl and flash your spl

Keep in mind im currently on stock SPL, do u think flashing the stock ROM is ok?
That's exactly why i suggested stock ROM, stock SPL will only accept stock ROM's (it will overwrite the spl too so make sure the stock rom you are using is the right one)
dude....i hate to say this...butyou might be s.o.l. at this point. i did the same to my fuze not too long ago... tryingto flash anything to the phone just locks it up.i was lucky enough to bs my way through an att guy to get me a new one (was still under the 30 day warranty).

I had the same problem as you and could not flash any rom, Always get Invalid vendor ID.
You need the right Stock Rom to flash and in my case in the middleeast, the Stock Rom is so far only available in at HTC.
I had to take the phone to HTC Service Center and they flashed the correct Stock Rom and charged me as they did it out of warranty.

Sorry about my last post... I misread your issue.
If you flashed the stock 1.90 SPL from the HardSPL thread, then you will need to ask Olipro (or cmonex) which WWE ROM it originated from. That ROM is the ONLY one your phone will accept.
The steps in reverting SPL for warranty / return state to always do the ROM first so that you do not run into this problem. I had the same issue when I was testing a US 3G Diamond I bought from Best Buy (to become acclimated to TF3D prior to the Fuze's release). I restored the SPL first, and then couldn't get Dutty's ROM off the phone, because I could not locate a downloadable version of the WWE ROM that phone came with. [Luckily, Best Buy Mobile's employees in KOP, PA aren't too clever, and I was able to convince them that the phone came that way. ]

Hmm, then I need to know from which ROM the SPL originated and then flash it.
Thing is, some of the shipped roms available at wiki are just nbh files..
I tried flashing with the wrapper exe and the RaphaelCustomRUU.exe and still all roms I've downloaded don't seem to work.
It's a RAPH100 untied to a network.

Post in the HardSPL thread asking which ROM the SPL originated from. Once you know that, you can download the appropriate ROM from the Wiki.

SPL has nothing to do with the Invalid Vendor ID Error, It is the CID. In another word you can flash SPL 1.95 and still can not flash the AT Rom 1.95.502.5 because the CID is different.
Regards
ViperBJK's QMAT features GoldCard generator for current HTC devices that can force RUU to bypass CID check.
Do you know what is the CID of your device?

The CID is determind by the SPL.
Look up the error code posted... everything points to HardSPL. Back in my Wizard days, HardSPL did not exist, and we just did a CID unlocking. This is not the case with newer devices.
All ROMs are not created equal. Each WWE ROM checks for specific information within the SPL, and if it doesn't find what it's expecting, fail...

Where can I know that?
@NotATreoFan && Shafez,
I remember from TyTNII day when Shafez suggested extracting 3.29 and 28 SPLs from the newer shipped 6.1's for a better responsive device.
We could extract and build with htc rom tool if I remember the name of the tool correctly.
Do we have a tool as such compatible with TP? (agreeing with NotATreoFan here)
@Shafez,
Since you think it is not SPL and it is a CID issue, what can I do about it?
Sending it to SVC for repair out of warranty is an option but I'd like to leave it as my last.
Did they provide the ROM or they flashed it for you?
Were u able to make raw files out of it for future use or any1 else has it?
Thx guys and keep the help coming

Since you cannot get past the bootloader, your only option is to find the WWE ROM that matches the SPL you flashed. Even though the HTC ROM Tool "signs" the NBH file, it still won't fool the stock bootloader... if it did, we wouldn't need HardSPL.

AT&T HTC PURE ORIGINAL SHIP ROM now posted on HTC's website!

The flashing can now begin (without fear of not being able to return it to stock form)! And for those who need a way to return to stock form, HTC has come through!

Where is this official leaked ROM you speak of for the pure?
Only ROMs I see out is 3rd party cooked ROMs. Not anywhere close to the quality of official ROMs. And only ROMs that I've seen out that makes a huge difference in anything is the ones with Manila 2.5. Which are horrible in the sense that MMS doesn't work on them, because there is no way of opening it unless you do a registry hack and add a cab for it to open in windows messaging client.
finally! i've been looking forward to this

Hi
Hello How can I change the band to the following:
Network Type : GSM
Band Frequency: GSM (900+1800+UMTS(2100+900)
Here is a little FYI for anyone interested. I am not sure why but, loading this rom did not replace the HardSPL. Being curious, I had to find out how I could use the stock SPL in this rom to go back to being completely stock. I am not sure if what I did is correct but it worked for me.
I extracted the spl.nbh and ruu_signed.nbh from the HTC download. I tried just running the spl.nbh by renaming it to TOPAIMG.nbh and copying it to the root of the SD. Everytime it would read the file and try to replace the spl it would fail and go back to the load screen. So, I relocked the spl using the spl relocker 1.33 (? I think that was the version). I then applied the spl.nbh (renamed to TOPAIMG.nbh) and it replaced the SPL with a version 1.78. It then looked like it was stuck at 9%. This is apparently some sort of interim SPL used to load the ruu_signed.nbh. After trying to determine what was going on for a little while I decided to put the ruu_signed.nbh (again renamed to TOPAIMG.nbh) on the SD and see what happens. Well, it loaded the original SPL, Radio and ROM and my Pure was 100% stock again.
I am sure there must be an easier way. Perhaps if I had just relocked the SPL with 1.33 and then ran the update it would have been fine. I just wanted to post this information so people know that you can get it back to 100% stock using this download from HTC.

Great find! Any chance that someone could / has extract(ed) the phone canvas out of this rom to see if it addresses the delay issues associated with the topaz and leo roms?

Help needed: how to extract a.nbh file from a shipped offical rom

Hi to everyone, i'm in a dire need to uninstall a HSPL from my device, the only way tio do that, as i was told, is to install a fresh offical rom from sd card: my problem is that i don't know how or from where extract the proper .nbh file.
I've installed the hspl and a cooked rom, then, i've stupidly overflashed an offical rom. Now i can't reinstall any cooked rom, nor uninstall hspl again.
Thanks in advance for any advice or hint.
You said you have flashed an official rom. You might have already removed HSPL.
just to make sure you have hspl on your device power off your device. then press volume down button, hold it when short pressing the power button.
this will bring your devece in bootloader screen which is red, green, blue and white.
you should see something here like
SPL-1.42.HSPL XE
cotullaHSPL
1.42 is the version of hspl. if it is different you have used a newerone.
report here what you see on the screen
we will be able to help you further
When you run any stock .exe file, it extracts the contents to a temp folder on Windows and runs the RUU.exe from there.
Simple way how I get it is :
(1) Run the stock packed exe (Keep it open, do not click next)
(2) Goto Run prompt in Windows, and type %temp%
(3) The new folder that opens is the temp folder being used by Windows
(4) Sort the folders by Date and see the latest modified one probably like Zip... or Rar... something
(5) you will find the .nbh files inside this folder
Copy away wherever you want
Copy this nbh to root of your card and name it LEOIMG.nbh
Restart phone...keep Vol Down pressed and when asked press Power button....Happy Restoring
The problem is that HSPL seems to not work, i've done all the passages shown in post #3, but when i restart os from sd, a new 1.66 SPL appears instead of mine 1.4200 and then it goes stuck, i've to put in bootloader and load the rom from the original .exe package, if i try to run the HSPL again, it shows the "we've hacked" screen, but when i try to load a cooked rom, appear the warnigns about the bootloader and the getinfo, therefore i flash and in the end i arrive always at the same stuck white htc logo, what's wrong?
Thaks for the answers
Marco
extract it use seven zip or WinRAR......Right Click In rom ship.exe and choose Extract file and you can see the .nbh file in extracted folder

You need to read the stickys in the ROM Development forum and learn how to do it. Don't start trying to flash a new ROM before you have any idea of what you are doing, you could brick your HD2.

[Q] htc hd2 stock rom 6.5.3

can somebody please help me, I have flashed 5 different ROM's to my vodafone HD2 and have encountered a varying degree of problems with each one. I would very much like somebody to tell me where I can get a Stock ROM not locked to any carrier so I can reflash my pretty usless fone or indeed to help direct me to a stable cooked ROM that would allow my fone to work again.
Thanks is advance.
P.s - my first post so please be gently, also the last 3 I have tried are Artemis ROM's with no sucessful outcomes.

there is no stock rom that is 6.5.x They are all 6.5
Not sure what you mean by stock rom not locked to a carrier, , do you mean a non branded rom (the ones marked HTC WWE, look HERE or in the various threads in the rom development section.) or do you mean you want to unlock your phone to use any network? in which case no amount of any kind of flashing will do that. Ask voda for a code, or buy one online.
Sounds to me like you need to return all the way to stock and start over. Get any of the voda roms from that link above (theyre marked vodaphone, you cant miss em, theres a 1,43 one, a 1.66 one ((if you're a brit)) or 1.72 if you have a european language voda.
Get that, and either
1 - remove hspl by running hspl.exe and choosing 1.66.0000
then
2 - run the downloaded rom.exe and flash over usb
or
1 - extract ruu_signed.nbh from the rom.exe you downloaded,(look it up if you dont know how) copy it to a formatted fat32 sd card smaller than 8gb, and rename it leoimg.nbh then start the phone into bootloader and it will ask you if you want to flash.
that way you are back to teh start, and you can apply hspl and start again.
(For people reading this thinking 'he didnt say do a task29',, its my understanding that using the official .exe to flash the rom does a task 29 anyway, and its been edited out of customruu.exe so it can be used to flash radios without wiping the rom,,,correct? yes no?)
I try 6 Rom but noone will work fine
Vodafone rom 1.72
I am not looking to unlock the fone, simply find a Rom that is 6.5.3 that is stable. I have just flashed back to voda 1.72 but that is 6.5, im fussy and don't like the start button at the top. I'm in scotland so need something that will work here ok on vodafone.
I was hoping to find a rom that had not been altered and as such an original (Stock) ROM.
your help is much appreciated.
There are no such stock roms for the HD2. If you want to flash a stable rom in the style you like (start button at the bottom) then you will need to HSPL (search the forum) your phone and I suggest you start with Dutty's rom. It's very stable and as close to stock as can be. You can always flash back to an original rom for warranty reasons if you need to.
tnx, trying one now. fingers crossed.
ok, just flashed one of duttys roms but now my phone will not boot, it turns on and stays at the htc splash screen. Wont turn off have to pull out the battery. If it will not boot how can I re-flash it? Any suggestions?
did you flash hspl? you will also need the newer radio 2.15.50_04
Quote from Dutty's first page:

* :No Radio version is included in these releases:
* :Correct radio needed to enabled 576 ram for NON-T-Mous HD2 users.

I hope you did some reading before you flashed!!
Put your phone into bootloader by holding the vol down side key and use a pen to push the little reset button when the back cover is removed. You should get a tri colour screen which shows you the hspl version you have. If you do this you can flash the correct radio which is probably why the phone will not boot.
all I have done previously is downloaded .nbh files and used SSPL_RUU.exe to flash and they have all flashed sucessfully, but with the after effects of either connection problems or freezing issues.
I have managed to re-flash to the vodafone 1.72 software so at least it is working again, this is not by any means where my talents lie. im a hardware guy, not software, so finding this all a bit confusing. I may just go with the artemis v33 rom which seemed to work the best apart from occassion signal dropouts.
Just out of curiosity - which hspl and radio are you using?
in the settings it says radio 2.07.51.22-2 and i believe the hspl was 1.42

If you are sure it's SPL, than your problems are normal sir. To be able to flash custom ROM you need HSPL ex (1.66 HSPL)
is there another way to check other than in bootloader?
