i am facing one big problem ,
my htc p3400i gets an error message "Device start up failed due to sudden loss of power. Please click "Yes" to continue"...this is because of after the upgrade of lomloms GENE_wm6.1_19971wwe fusion9.0 but at first it was working superb...if anyone can solve this....... so plz help me?
reflash rom
i have tried 3-4 times to reflash the rom but there is the same message,,
any other way ?

after this when i click yes button it reboots and then phone memory gets formatted,then after using fresh flashing the rom
the same thing happens everytime

After tapping Yes, do not flash again, let it complete and if possible keep the device on AC power, that will hopefully help

which updating utility u r using to update ??
if u r using rom update utility can u see gene phone pics on it ?
try to go bootloader
to go bootloader do this
remove battery insert it again now keep hold camera button now press power button u will see tri colur screen and tell me what number u will getting on screen

Yes, that will help. But if your device doesn't boot up (my device didn't), then while pressing the keys ankit said, softreset the device,
If its happening again and again and if its your self cooked rom, there can something wrong with the OEMDrivers folder. It should not be changed, atleast the original contents.

I try to flash my xda2 from english to chinese but when i flashing my place back down ,the phone now show serial v1.06 but can't on ,any solution to soft this problem??pls help ..

i use the serial cable and downloaded a new rom from myxda.com or tmobiles version 1.72 and installed it but the pda will shut off so just make sure it is on ..if it does shut off right bfore the up grade just take out the battery and reinstall and hit ower button without removing the serial cable and u will be or should be lol fine....

you have to turn the phone on yourself. i can get the rom upgrade done which is stage 2 but then it freezes and loses connection at stage 3 the extended rom... so i have a functioning pda without a camera which sux.

i try to do wht u said ,the system start to erase the rom from ppc but its erase untill 1-2 hours still under erase ???

Hi guys i would like some help if tried everything to upgrade my rom but it keeps on throwing me errors i load the jump spl but all it shows me is a white screen nothing else help can somebody explain in detail for me how to do it because the rom installs up to 2% and then my phone restarts and it says rom corrupt thanx in advance
Press the camera button and voice button together NOT the power and camera buttons and do it before you tap the 1.1-Olipro.nb file, almost simultaneously.
I think you need three hands for this exercise. After 20 000 attempts I almost had cramp in my hand.

just like title, the upgrade stuck at stage 5 on where it upgrade extended rom.
it show

blah blah blah

that....
and i also can't use my touch screen since no matter how i tap, it giv no reaction.....except few second after hard reset.....
can anyone help???........

1. what ROM did you download?
2. did you flash via bootloader?
1. Official WM 5 Rom & Jigg WM6 Rom, both i try also can't....
2. U mean the black screen by press camera + reset? yes.

maybe you have downloaded a corrupted ROM. try to download it again then reflash
impossible since last time i flash the device using the same rom....

chibineko, u said in ur first post that the upgrading stopped at Stage 5 with message Extended ROM. But I think the stage 5 is Radio Shack, please clarify????

Get hold of Original O2 ROM for ur device and extract all files to ‘C:\WINDOWS\Temp’ directory and then replace ‘Device Software Update Utility.exe’ with a newer one through which u can Flash in parts. After attaching the USB start the upgrade and instead of ‘ALL’ select ‘OS+EBoot’ only by pressing tab key and down arrow key.[/FONT] May be it will boot in a normal way.

chibineko, if ur phone is working alright then hmmmm might be software problem only. Try to flash the original ROM for your Atom from O2.

my phone just die ... i was trying to flash my rom from RTT shock star 7pOS to RUU_Huashan_Dopod_CHS_0.90.706.0_0.97.332.6_Debug.exe ...
this is not my first time flashing ... i have did wat i usually does ... i run task29 ... press vol down to get to usb ... then i flash it with the huashan rom ...
it install for a while and then it shows the white screen with green htc logo ... for 30min i dare not cancel it ... then seeing something not right i unplug the phone from my pc ... now i cant get into my phone ... and after hardreset press vol key up ... it just stuck at the same white screen with green htc logo ...
anyway i can get into the usb mode again so that i can flash back my rtt shock star????

it's for u're radio install the recomended radio in rom tread.
Have you tried to remove battery.
Replace battery, Tap power on button and hold Volume down only Button?
(sorry if you have but has worked for me in past after I stupidly not paying attention and unplugging during a flash)

did you use your hd2 "goldcard" to do this??????? (didn't even know flashing different device rom works...)
you should know that you can't flash a rom from a completely different device
and expect it to work....
goldcards are used to flash different CID roms not different device-roms....

i was almost flashing a rom from this phone into my hd2 to try to improve battery life!
i saw it was t-mobile compatable, so i thought it would work...
Let this be a warning guys. Don't just flash any rom from other devices to our HD2s. They might die if you do that.
Before flashing any rom try reading the first few posts in the thread or if you're not sure of what you are about to flash, just search first and make things clear before you do anything.

Try Radio ROM 2.12 increased my battery life and reception too

i have same problem (phone stuck on boot screen) but trying the above, gets me to the four coloured bootloader but freezes with the word 'serial' at the bottom of the screen? no flashing colours - have you (or anyone) come across this before ?

Just to be sure:
Have you connected your phone to an USB socket on your computer?
It will never show USB if you haven't
Please give info on "4 colored screen" and phone type (T8585, T9193, TMOUS)
I have a hd2 with blutopia n supersports rom and today has been 1 helluva messed up day seriously !( I cant think straight) its all because my phone wont work. the phone was working beautifully with android on it and out of nowhere today the screen is not responding AT ALL. its so frustrating cant make a call cant read my txts.can some 1 please just tell me what i have to do so i can get a replacement? I put hspl3 and bluetopia android and supersports rom....please tell me what rom do i need to flash to it,do i have to relock/remove hspl3? thanks if u can help me out i just cant think clearly right now
turn off phone, hold down on the up and down volume button by pressing in middle while u toutch the end key..the red key.. after it boots press volum up to redo phone... if that does not fix it.. reflash with original rom

ok how can i get the original rom... i cant get it from tmobile website because it wants a mei # and i cant get to it on my phone cause the screen is not working
open your phone up. take the battery off. The IMEI should be there along with serial number. Good luck
Touchscreen problem
Yesterday I start with a similar problem.
Using several Android builds on the same stock memory card.
The touchscreen stops responding always when I try to
reboot or turn off the phone, the same on all Android builds
and on WinMO. But locking the phone brings the touchscreen
back to life. Then I am able to unlock the phone and the
touchscreen keeps working OK.
Will try flashing the updated stock ROM.
you run hspl3 again , but select the other option with the extra.oooo, 208.000 , by default hspl3 installs the one to allow roms to work,,, when you rerun hspl3 select the other to set back to original so you can send back to factory anfter u install the t-mobile original rom
