I successfully dump my rom, but I think that we must to have a rom for this device(cause needed an os.nb) to can use the raw files, and there isn't one yet.
If someone knows if this can be done with a rom from another device, let me know cause I want to edit my rom and put some localized files inside.

Before playing with cooked ROMs, I'd like to make an image of the original ROM for backup purposes. How can this be done? Sorry if this has been answered before - I searched the forums but couldn't find anything regarding Raphael.

You can dump your original ROM using these instructions:

And how do i do so the .raw files becomes a rom file that i can flash with hardspl. or how do i do to get in the phone again

i had tried that but i think im a little bit stupid, i dont get it 100 %
isent it any easy way to build a flashable ROM from the .raw files.

Anyone know how I can dump a working version of the ROM my phone came with in case I need to send it back? Or has someone else already dumped the Norwegian 20 key ROM?

Sorry, but I already flashed the spl. Besides, the phone is almost a year old, so I doubt there's anything groundbreaking about its contents
I'll share the rom, no problem - have to give soemthing back, right? How do I give you the raw files?

I already have done that, and all went well. But, how can I cook a rom with those files(using jerpelea kitchen)? I need ROM and SYS Files... how can I extract them?
I have it in my raphael.

Probably is still build 19965 (rom 1.90) so unless there is any newer OEM stuff it should still be the stock raphael build.
just want to make sure it is 1.90.813.3 or 1.90.831.3

You have to build a flashable .nbh file with the rom kitchen!

Hi, I'm sure someone will be as it's the latest version, and it'll also be useful to users requiring ROM restoration to have as many different images available as possible in the hopes of matching their original.
So please upload it and post it on the wiki.

I've been reading the forum a lot, but still have no clue where to start.
I want to make a dutch rom based on the official HTC WM6.1 rom.
I would like to recieve some tips and tric on how to start making a rom.
I know how to dump a rom and how to reconstruct it.
Now i want to know what tools and programs i can use to modify the rom.
For example how to remove programs and how to add them..
So i able to make a start and go my way from there.
Needless to say i will release the rom on the forum as a return of favor

I'm working on customizing a rom for the HTC Surround with the NoDo update. I'm using pieces from the HD7 ROM that was leaked. Not sure if it will work though.
I'm having trouble flashing it to a device.
I was adding it into os.nb using htcrie.exe replace /I imgfs.bin os.nb
But then I came across other documentation saying to put it into os.nb.payload. As yet, I haven't been able to successfully put it into that file. Here is the command line I was using: ImgfsToNb imgfs.new.bin OS.nb.payload OS-new.nb.payload
I think my problem is that I am using the wrong payload-chunk-size and extra-chunk-size when I use NBSplit. I'm not sure how to find that from the ROM.
Any suggestions?
I can upload my modified imgfs if anyone wants to use it.
As I said before, I'm not entirely sure whether I'm on the right track. As this is the first time I've ever tried to cook a ROM, So I'm still learning.

Friend, I regret not being able to help, since I have little rom Personalised knowledge. Only I am writing to ask if you can make a multi-language, since the AT & T rom limit myself to only English.
