I've followed the instructions on flashing my phone with the Hardspl, but it doesn't work. The screen on my phone would go black and nothing happens after that. The loading bar on the screen doesn't move, it stays at 0% until the error msg comes up. i tried using the Manualspl and it doesn't work either...
any idea?

Check the Hard SPL thread. I had a similar problem. So did others. Here is what worked for me:

thats where i got the HardSPL from. When i run the application i get an error saying "This application has failed to start because mscoree.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem"

I've been going through many posts and the wiki for the past 4 hours...
My friend bought an Imate JASJAM and hes travelling in five hours..I thought it would be nice of me to update to the latest WWE rom from imates website
I've done this many times before on various imates ive owned in the past, but this time during the upgrade process I get an error and the phone reboots into the bootloader screen
Naturally activesync doesnt recognize the device now...
When I run the update again I go through all the steps, the progress bar shows for a few seconds and I get a "vender id" error and "0% upgrade image completed" shows up on the jasjam...Rebooting gets me back to bootloader with
IPL 1.01
SPL 1.06
Its 5am here and im not getting any sleep until I fix this for him!! I've scoured the net, xda-devs wiki and forum, tried many things, to no avail!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Put the phone into bootloader mode THEN run the update... do this by holding the camera button down for a while then hit the power button.
Already tried that countless times same "vender id" error...

To put the Hermes in bootloader, you have to press down both the POWER button and SIDE OK button together and use the stylus at the same time to press the RESET button at the bottom.

Sorry didnt correct madcap myself..But thats exactly what I did originally to get to the bootloader menu..Side OK+power+reset...
Still same vender ID error during update...
Yup tried the hard reset too...Just got back to his bricked jasjam

Did it not boot into Windows? Where did it stop? etc.etc.etc..

With all due respect, I DID read the directions and I DID try that. That was actually the first thing I tried! And when I followed the directions it got stuck on "Windows Mobile" screen...After which I followed the directions for that (problem 2) and yet again still stuck on windows mobile screen! After trying to update again I was back to bootloader-only mode..
Tried HardSPLv7 but it gave me a connection error multiple times...

I was Trying to go back to the stock rom, and the way I understood it was to reloack the Tiatan. So I did. Next Ran RUU with stock Rom and now is stuck in Bootloader. Tried to run Unlocker and has to be connected to Activesync first. Can some one help ??????
When you said bootloader screen. Do you mean the tri-color display (where you see the SPL version)?
If so, you need to get Titan_ExitBl.exe.
Before you launch that file, make sure you disable the USB connection in ActiveSync.
If you are stuck at the logo splash screen, press POWER, CAMERA and RESET buttons together.
It will take you back to the tri-color display (bootloader), where you can update your Radio and OS ROMs.

It is stuck at the tri color screen, tried to load same rom as was running and it stick at loading with 0%. On my computer it goes to recovery mode. also tried to unlock again, but this is where I have to be connected to Activesync.
If anyone has link to this file I am looking but havent found it yet. searching for these theads can be pretty complex. All the info is all spread out.

Ok beings as you've told us nothing in your post .
1. Are you using a 100% genuine Topaz (Diamond 2)?
2. Which ROM are you trying to flash ?
3. is the progress bar on the white flash screen or on the first boot windows screen?
4. Have you used Hard_spl?
5. Are you using a guide to flash your phone or just going hit & miss styls?
6. Are you flashing from the memory card or from the computer?
Add those to your next post and maybe we'll be able to help you

1) what does the phone screen show for version number before the progress bar comes up?
2) if you let the whole thing go on, do you get an "error 262" at the end on the PC? or another error?

Ok that should be the correct version for Hard_spl but for the sake of it go into tri-colour mode (details in the Hard spl thread) and check it says olinex in that mode. If it does some people have reported that doing this works.
1. Reflash to stock ROM ( i know you have already done this and can skip this step but it's there for future use)
2. Run the Hard_spl relocker file found in the hard spl thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520312
3. Start the phone make sure the stock ROM still works ok.
4. Reflash Hard_spl newest version again found in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520312 follow instructions in that thread.
5. Once you have the Hard_spl installed on your device (again it's in that first post how to check)
6. Pick your new ROM from the ROM's section on this forum.
7. Download and flash using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=585201 (Please note it's easier and technically safer to flash using a memory card if you have one as this minimizes - if not removes - the chance of getting a connection error)
If it doesn't say Olinex then you haven't flashed hard_spl successfully follow the thread listed above to flash it on then your ROM

nooo, do not put it in bootloader manually by pressing buttons!
run Automatic mode in Hard-SPL, and tell me what the phone screen shows before flashing.
I have exactly the same problem with one of my Topaz, have two, the other one did not have any problem? Stays at 0% and then error.

are you using automatic mode?
I've tried both modes, in automatic it say that I can't use it profesionally, I guess it complains because I already flashed the other one? But then again I can't even run the TopazSPLRelocker_SPL133, it to stays at 0% and then error, feels like the phone would have a dip switch that sayn, no flashing, but then again, stock rom just works fine everytime.

Hello guys,
I am searching for help, my elephone g6 does not start, rebooted it yesterday and it did not started ever again, not even in recovery mode, i tryed to flash stock rom but can't get him recognised by my computer, the omputer is always playing the sound connect->disconnect->connect->disconnect, within 30 seconds space more or less. i have no idea what to do more, anyone knws the problem and a possible solution?

Try looking up some recovery software from the manufacturer like HTC does. Otherwise is a little to vague.

So, i got my phone to connect to the computer, but the SP flash tools goes to 100% red bar and doesn't do anything more, i am doing everything correctly but it just gets stuck 100% red bar and don't move it has ben like 30+ minutes and nothing, any tip on that?

hello again, yes i tryed and that's my problem, my SPflashtools just get stuck with a 100% progreress red bar and does not move on, i have done everything correctly, exact stock rom, drivers and so.

Okay so my phone randomly rebooted 2 days ago and when it got to the LG logo screen it froze. I tried to hard reset it, i went in to the hard reset menu clicked yes once then confirmed the hard reset by selecting yes a second time and the phone froze on highlighted yes. I have pulled the battery and tried to do this multiple times to no avail. So next i went to my PC and started google searches. Often i found things such as being stuck in boot loop which my phone wasn't, it was just frozen at the LG logo screen. Regardless I like to think of myself as self educated tech savvy (which now from reading all of your posts im not, im not even a little bit, in fact im tech stupid.) I did follow post through to the LGUP tool and downloaded a stock KDZ and got my phone into download mode>firmware update screen, i was able to get al the correct drivers and get LGUP to recognize the device and i loaded the stock KDZ and tried to do a Complete wipe reinstall. The program as able to interact with my device and went through the process, i thought i had fixed my phone. After a fresh install(or what i thought was a fresh install) i rebooted after the update and went to the LG logo screen and froze. The only difference is now when my phone starts, right before the LG logo appears i get the green android robot with what looks like open working "guts" real quick before it goes to the Logo and freezes. So back to the drawing board and i wanted to attempt some of the things ive seen like TWRP recovery etc but here i am getting lost. Forgive me if im posting things that have been answered but i keep getting confused. I dont know what the difference is between fastboot boot loader recovery mode or any of that is. also i kept noticing time and time again that my phone has to be in USB debugging mode and i dont know if it is. I cant turn my phone on to get it into USB debugging mode now anyways. Im okay with my warranty being voided and im okay with rooting if thats what i have to do to make it work. I have installed ADB and fastboot and some twrp recoveries etc but im clueless. Lastly know that i never Rooted my phone or anything but i was a torrent downloader. forgive me im triyng to provide as much information as possible.
PLEASE NOTE - I had to sign up to post here obviously and i loved how it said if you have an IOS go buy an android and come back LOL
