i want to know whare i must put the ground and i use cable male to male in my pc thats cable more than 1 mr is this the problem i mean the wires less than 20cm but the LPT Cable more than 1m is this make the connection error to detect target

That is how you can convert the charcher to data cable .

Does it safe to connect to charger and PC if my proprietary port got bend at pin number 1 and 2?
I am worry if the pin number 2 which is ground pin might be important for charging...
Hi guys. I just bought an OTG cable with micro usb male. I tried looking for one with a galaxy tab male connector so that I could use it on my tab 2, but unfortunately I couldn't find one. So I decided to buy the otg cable AND a data cable of the tab. So I'm wondering what would happen if i cut them both open then connect them to each other. Would it work? They both ARE for data transfer anyways. I know this is my first post, and I'm kind of a noob, but please help me on this. thanks
OTG cables have the ID pin grounded at the connector that plugs in the device.
If the 30 pin data cable you have has a 4 pin full-size USB male on the other end, the ID connection is not carried through.
You could massacre the 30 pin, gain access to the ID pin and ground it there.
If the 30 pin data cable that you have has a 5 pin micro USB female on the other end then the ID connection might be carried through, but I kind of doubt it.
i recently bricked my galaxy s2. i assume hard-bricked because it wont even go into download mode. now i read about a USB jig, i plan to make my own, only problem is, after tearin apart about 5 micro USB cords, there is only 4 solder points, were as the guide for making your own jig says u need to solder the resistors in a circuit and solder them to the 4th and 5th solder points, will a 4 solder point one work? if so, were do i solder the points at? i included a photo of what all my micro usb cables look like after ive torn them apart, any help is appreciated
