Here you go just rename from goldcard.zip to goldcard.img
OR you can goto my flashing for noobs thread and flash the NEW HardSPL2 which covers any SPL.

You know there is no longer a need for goldcard, right? If you want to change language, instal HSPL2, and flash the rom in any language you want.

Now i'll try, my SPL is 1.42, can I install any version of HSPL or I must install 1.42.HSPL? If I can install any version which is the best?
and finally, if I neet to restore the original version, can i do it with HARD SPL2 too?

You can set HardSPL to any version you want and if you need to go back to stock SPL you can do that through the HardSPL2 program aswell.

GoldCards created for the serial number of your microsd card (unzip the attached file to get the img files). One with the original serial and another with the first two digits replaced by zeros. Try the zeros img file first as that sometimes gives better results.

Hi,
I've been trying to flash my hermes via the SD flashing, however when i try to my hermes briefly flashes on the screen "no image file" then it goes back to the tri colour screen.
Has anyone else had this trouble? Anybody got any ideas?

Yep read that page, and most of the wiki and most of the forum, sadly i can't find anything about this, (don't think many people upgrade this way)

As for my CID...well it was unlocked thanks to pof's unlocker, however while upgrading via the normal way it is now (according to info 2) HTCSF kE0
So i went through using hex editor and changed the (what i thought was) CID to what my hermes CID is.
But the reason i posted on here was mainly to see if anyone else had tried upgrading like this and had the same (brief) message???
But if anyone else has attempted editing the nbh file, and has any results, please can you advise at all???

Looks like your CID is corrupted. Does it show "No Gsm" when booting? can you see your IMEI, radio & protocol versions in setings - system - device information?

The NBH file is signed, if you modifiy a single bit of it the signature becomes invalid and the bootloader won't let you flash it.
Yeah, it shows no GSM, and it won't boot up. I'm just trying anything i can, i figure it's an expensive paper weight at the moment, can't do any more damage. (can i?)
As for the nbh file....any way we can "sign" the file, make the hermes think it's a vaild file?
I currently have radio version 1.34 and need to downgrade to 1.16 bekuzz im sending my phone back to Cingular.i have beentold that it is possible thru des's awesome SSPL program but that i need the radio in NBH format. i have it it in NBF. I checked the WIKI and didnt see anything about flashing the radio in the nbh format. any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. if i missed something while reading the wiki i apologize in advance. thanx.

go on the Full ROMs list and find out which full ROM has your Radio on it.
download it, extract the NBH and separate it; rebuild it into an NBH with all the components your original was comprised of, flash it and you're done.
i have seperated the NBh files and im stuck there im not sure how im supposed to rebuild it. a little more direction please

Search the Forum for NBHGen...
um dont make this so hard... just go to www.htcamerica.net and download the official shipped rom and flash it to your phone before shipping it back!

well if thats the case it didnt downgrade the 1.34 radio. will try to flash it again.
i tried the official release from HTC and that does the same thing. new rom same radio. still at 1.35
i have loaded nbhgen onto my computer but im not sure how to run it or how to compose the radio in the format it needs to be in. i have searched the forum but there arent any clear instructions on how to run nbhgen and then put everything back together

I'm pretty new here but I hope I can get some help here.
I got myself a HTC X7550 (Athena) and when I connected it with activesync a romupdate started through a mistake by me.
It told me de vendor ID was wrong but instead of restarting,
my ROM image on the device was GONE.
Is there a way to know the vendorID and to find the original ROM image?

Download the zip fiel called: Hard-SPL(2).zip
Than have your x7500 plugged to your pc and make sure you are on the bootloader (the 3 color screen).
Now unzip the file and copy the files to a different folder and than run the file:ROMUpdateUtility.exe
This will get you out of there and you can reset the x7500 once it's done.
After that download the file:AthenaUnlocker.zip and follow the instruction on the screen. After that you could install wm6.

Unlock in Bootloader
Hi JasJarMan. Your attached file was for Trinitiy device. Can this also be used for the X7500 ?
I need to unlock my X7500 from Bootloader if it is possible.
I can not find any ROM that installs on my X7500 and I am stuck in bootloader. My Telephone supplier has not released the original ROM as a flash- file and therefore I am afraid my device is currently bricked.
If I could get it back in original state I would be very happy and try unlock it before flashing again.

Thanks Boinger66 but according to the video / docu in this tread, the unlock are done in x7500's operative system. I am currently at Bootloader because I can not boot the device with any operativesystem.
Can the unlock application in the tread also be used in bootloader "modus" ?

I recall reading a forum entry stating that its possible to install HardSPL or run the unlocker using the SD card method. However it didnt explain what the method involved.
Can someone provide a step by step gyuid to these if it is possible please. I have serached for the info but found nothing.

While I have not done it personally, I understand that any valid nbh will execute. SO, the HardSPL should work.
However, the unlocker is not an nbh file, so I do not think that will work. Much of the work is done by an executable on the device.
Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am in a hurry so have no time to search and investigate in this mater by myself for now!
I have flashed several roms in the past, right now I am running RomeOS 1.40
However I have now sold my device and need to revert to the original rom and SPL!
I have the Swedish rom, but the problem is that the file I have is RUU_Signed.nbh I dont have the wrapper or what it is called so that I can flash my raphael!
Also, do I need to SPL lock the device again? and if so how do I do that?
Last but not least, after flashing RomeOS, I got alot of information on the first screen (You know when you first start the device where it shows the radio version and everything!) But the problem is that I have tried to flash other roms but the information on the first screen is still there!
How do I get rid of it so it looks like the original?
Hope you know what I mean and how to help me!

The wrapper is included in the attached file along with the htc splash screen. the original spl also in there so do the following:
1- extract the zip file and put the customruu + your RUU_Signed.nbh in one folder and run that to get your original rom
2- put now the customruu + htcsplash together and flash to change the splash screen
3- Now use the spl tool to revert to the original spl
