I'd like to introduce you my version of a flexible Rom. Flexible? This rom comes without HTC Messaging Client, any Opera and Taskmamanger (except Windows Taskmanager) but with XDA_UC.
With the XDA_UC-Package that I provide you can decide, wich way the rom should work.

How do I install this rom?
Download desired rom base
Download XDA_UC-Package
Unzip XDA_UC-Package
Copy XDA_UC-folder to your SD-Card
Delete not needed cab's from XDA_UC-folder
Flash rom
After boot perform a hardreset
After boot do your settings (e.g. Clock)
Perform a softreset
Wait until XDA_UC ended (there comes a hint)
Perform a softreset
Must I use your XDA_UC-Package?
No, the rom works without my XDA_UC-Package. But there will be no MMS-Support and no Opera.
What is the difference between 219xx and 216xx?
219xx is the standard Build for actual devices. The startmenu-Button is on top. These builds are very stable.
216xx are more fingerfriendly. The represent the latest technology from MS. Startmenu-Button is on bottom. These Builds cost a bit more ram.
What is the difference between standard Messaging and HTC Messaging?
Standard Messaging costs lower ram
Standard Messaging supports folders for incoming, outgoing post
Standard Messaging is fast
HTC Messaging looks good
HTC Messaging is slow (espacially when you have a great number of SMS)
HTC Messaging costs more ram
What is the difference between Opera 9 and Opera 10?
Opera 9 is well integrated into Sense
With Opera 9 the Hardware-Zoom is supported
Opera 10 is faster and more fingerfriendly
Can I install another Taskbar?
Yes, you can but be sure that you install a taskbar with the corresponding HTCVolumeControl. VolumeControl does not work if you install a different version.
Is the CHT pack a full CHT?
No, it's not a full version of CHT

The room work very good but have 2 proplem only
on sms i cant right any thing at all
also The microsoft ofice wont open allways give this messeg
Word mobile cannot open pleas restart your device then try again, i make restart but stil have proplem

Fix for Word
Word does not work in the 23563 Rom. I attached a fix in the 1. post.
SMS writing works fine for me. Someone else got a problem with writing SMS?

Very nice ROM, fast, seems to be very stable and very nice looking. Flashed it earlier this morning and, so far, so good. Two things I have found, however...
Facebook album off contacts does not work (although I installed the T-Back Online fix and it works fine now)...
The other thing (which is really weird and wondering if someone can confirm this), but whenever you soft reset, the system volume reverts to vibration only. This is both using XDA shutdown and the red button underneath the stylus.
Other than those two issues, this is a very solid ROM and ranks right up there. Great work! Will continue to test and use today...
On other thing, where did you get the icon set used in this ROM? Curious if it is available to end users as I would like to use it to replace some of the icons of the programs I installed to keep the entire clean look of the ROM... Thanks!

Thanks for the hint with the facebook. Will include it in the next version. I have no issue with the resart and vibration.
The iconset is made by me. I attached the empty icons in Post #2

Had another issue as running Opera 10 ran my memory way above 70%, causing Opera to stutter. Also, in running CoPilot, it crashed my phone. Wondering if I had a bad flash, will reflash to see what is going on as I like the ROM...

I´m using this rom (build 23563 GER with XDA_UC) for nearly three days now and have no problems with Opera 10 and CoPilot Live 8. My memory is sometimes running under 70% too (especially, when I´m using CoPilot), but that is causing no problems. If your problems continue, maybe try to flash the rom again.

Going to flash again as using CoPilot brought me into the 90% and crashed my phone... Sounds like a bad flash, time to use MTTY to clean out my phone, thanks...

Very nice rom. Had flashed it, installed Co0kie 1.71 and bg4alltabs, using your wallpaper as the Manila 2.5 wallpaper. Haven't got time to install my other cabs. Will continue tomorrow.

Can somebody explain me how i can work with MTTY on TD2 ??? I founded procedure for TD and HD2, but no for our Topaz...I wont brick my "baby" (TD2)...

I have done it on my phone more than a couple of times and no problems so far... Good luck!
Anyway, getting back on topic concerning this thread, I reflashed the ROM (this time I am trying a 6.5.3 ROM for the first time) and so far no issues whatsoever. No weird sound to vibration when soft resetting, will install my apps to see if there are so compatability issues.
BTW, the version of Pocket RAR I have I'm guessing isn't compatible with 6.5.3, anyone have a cab that works?

1. If it is possible, please cook in the widgets engine. When I installed the widgets engine myself, I have a number of widgets that installed fine but 1 widget which could install but won't run, i.e. it closes once it opens up to the first startup screen. PM me with your email if you want a video of the problem.
2. I believe you had cooked in swype keyboard. When I tried to change to it, I got an error message (Open of EnglishUS failed).
3. Do you have a cab of the latest HTC's GPS Tool?

Yeah, Swype does not work for me either (using 23563 version)... I don't get the error message, tho, the normal keyboard just disappears and the screen freezes... No biggie, tho, as the rest of the ROM is rock solid.
One minor graphical issue of note (and when I say minor, boy, is it minor), but the little clock on the upper right hand corner of the taskbar, when it gets to 10:00, 11:00, etc, the first number of the time overlaps the frame in which it should be in. Again, really minor and, if that is all the bugs to report regarding a ROM, then you are ahead of the game...
Great work, this will be on my phone for a while...
