I have a suggestion to make Angry Birds don't laggish anymore.
I had read more forums and topics about Angry Birds lags on low-end devices. [like our Tattoo]
And now i have some tips to make angry birds just a bit, bit faster. [See at the end of topic]
Okay. I saw there are patched angry birds 1.3.5.[thread HERE] But there are ONE problem. When i wan't to play it, screen is not compatible with out QVGA. It's maked only for HVGA i think. [you can download patched AB HERE]
I asked a question to Rovio and i write to make it good for low-end devices.
I GOT ANSWER!

Save Angry birds on internal memory!
Kill ALL tasks.
Get RAM booster to incrase your ram [about 1mb]
Play it with lock-unlock method.
WE ALL CAN MAKE ANGRY BIRDS WORK WITHOUT ONY LAG!!!

It is compatible, on Froyo and Gingerbread you can use lock and unlock technique.. Is there a way to decompile game files?

Maybe there are some pro's to make patch? it would be awesome/.
I used some APK tools to decompile it and now I'm trying to do some stuff, also removing unnecessary stuff because normal AB build has 12mb =O
Probably I'll fail but anyway after all Rovio did say they will make light version
Angry Birds Lite Beta is out I noticed on market .. Tho it doesnt matter cause i switched to Optimus in meantime...

I don't understand.. Are we still waiting for the lite version or is it out already?
I use version 1.5.1 (in my signature ) and there is an option to turn off backgrounds that speeds it up a lot.
Where can I download the game, which can run quietly in the tattoo?
its working on my tattoo with gingerbeard but not so smoth
but it´s okay
With the latest update, if you disable the background and sound, and overclock cpu, it works very smoothly on nFinity rom

Im using CM7 RC 4.1 on my Tattoo Angry birds are runing just fine
When I overclock it works fine, but without it sucks. The whole game is **** on a htc tattoo.

I don't think its a fake, because on other videos you can see the galaxy 3 running raging thunder 2 and such games. I can't even play raging thunder 2 XD also not with version 1.0.9 ^^
It is possible, but you need to download by PC the SD Data for that game.
Pls tell me how to do that^^

At first you have to download the game, I don't no if I'm allowed to post links here or not. I have downloaded it from pandaapps. Simple type it into google^^.
1. Download the .apk and the SD files of the game.
2. extract the SD files
3. Make a file folder calles: gameloft on the root of your sdcard. In the gameloft folder make a new folder called: games (gameloft and games have to be written small)
4. Extract the SD files to /sdcard/gameloft/games
5. Now install the .apk and play^^

OK Guys I have done it with the HD version 3.1.1^^ from pandaapp. And Rekooo I don't know how old you are, but I'm 16, and my parents had installed such a programm on my pc, that closes such sites^^
Yes, and the only two games I could made run till now are Dungeon Hunter and GT Motor academy^^.
And for those who think the hardware is crap^^ I have compared galaxy 3 with IPhone 3gs ^^ and our processor is nearly 70MHz stronger^^ and the ram is exactly the same. Our phone is no crap, the only problem is, that there are no 3d drivers for our device yet. Hope a dev could make one, or some people write to samsung^^
Edit: it's not the hd version But who cares?
Well, I think without a dedicated GPU or 3D Drivers we can wait a long time until all those high-end games run normally on the G3.
I've tried Dungeon Hunter and GT Racing myself. Dungeon Hunter wouldn't let me get into the 1st city, no idea why. GT Racing's framerate was just to sloppy though.. :/
I know in games wiyh other racers it lags. But dungeon hunter works very good on my device.
A race game that i would recommend is raging thunder^^ works without lags^^

We all know Wildfire is a bit (lot) on the slow side, but, surprisingly I was able to play and complete several PS1 games on it, yes 3D games, on Wildfire!
So far I played:
Playstation 1 (FPse):
*Gran Turismo 1 - played nicely, was able to win few races in simulation mode (if you played GT1, you know AI is a bit hard, even more in US and japanese versions). I'm big GT fan so I don't enjoy it if it isn't on wheel or joystick (got PS3 only for GT5 ).
*Resident Evil 1/2 - completed, very nice gameplay.
*Metal Gear Solid - stuck on electricity torture after defeating Sniper Wolf (can't press the button fast enough, but, no big deal, I completed the game 10ish times), nice gameplay overall.
*Tekken 2 - works fine, smooth.
*Twisted Metal 2 - nice gameplay.
*Few other games.
Super Nintendo (SNESoid):
*Mortal Kombat # - No problem, smooth, fun, got my a** kicked, though.
*A lot of other games, all played smooth.
Gameboy Advance (GameBoid):
*Pokemon: Fire Red Version - best game ever , playing it currently, smooth gameplay.
Note: Games were played on CM7/RemPuzzle Lite, clocked at: 528-748 MHz with ondemand governor (PS1) and 352-691 MHz, again, ondemand governor (SNES, GBA).

I have also tried Need for Spped Carbon for the GBA, but it's really laggy once you try to use multitouch (multiple controls at once)

Wow blast from the past. This was the whole reason I rooted my phone to start with back in the day,so I could o/c and kick ass on tekken3. No place on my phone anymore for games but loved that period/phase I went through.
Fspe served me well, but I think it was a little awkward to understand at first if I remember right.

1. Download the emulator application, e.g. GameBoid.apk is for Game Boy Advance
2. Download the BIOS (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIOS), to simplify, the thing that makes the emulator application think your phone is a Game Boy Advance, Playstation or whatever.
3. Dowload the actual game and enjoy
I cant supply you with links because this is kinda considered warez, but i will send you everything in PM if youre interested.

Well, only some emulators require special bios, those do "heavy" emulation, simply, if you want to play game boy advance, google gba bios, it should be in .bin format. Download it and copy to sd card, then, start the emulator application and it will ask you to locate bios, just navigate to the .bin file and select it, done.

Is there a bios for Jbed? I have the one that came with stock froyo. Touch doesnt work in games. tried playing asphalt 4 but cant steer.

Nope, jbed just runs the .jar applications.
all android apps are java based, but in different format (.apk). correct me if im wrong.

it seems like wildfire can handle every gba/snes/genesis game, but on fpse:
diablo - laggy
tomba - laggy
harvest moon - found running good at 50 fps, lol
medievil - laggy still, sometimes is playable..
Chrono Cross - laggy
CM7 build 57, 652-768 mhz on smartass, is really there anything to improve gaming perfomance on this device?
FPSe on the wildfire with no gpu? How is that even possible! Is it all software rendered?
I tried FPse emulator, I tried both Resident evil and Gran Turismo 1.........
I faced problems on both games.......
I have the Digital controls set, But On resident evil i couldn't attack the zombie, I pressed all the keys but no use...... On gran turismo, I couldn't get the car to run, Which key to use.
And Can we use the touch panel to control the games, It would be awesome.
And what other games can you play on it.... Please help

i dont know what could be the problem, when i was playing all touch keys worked just fine, you should disable the sound im fpse though because sound is performance killer. id try different version of fpse first, then try to fix it if it doesnt work.

Oh I can drive the car on Gran Turismo,.... It was because the Gsensor driving was on, so it drove backward when I pressed the key........ Everything else works good.
They say you have to press the R1 to aim and X to fire.... but it only works sometimes.
so I can't use a knife on resident evil, and on landscape there is no R1, R2, L1, L2, how to fix that?

Deadspace.. Asphalt 5.... and others.... try to search i5500 device that supports good games with the device at google.. there are many suggestions =)

Because Subway Surfers and Temple Run dont work, so will these work smoothly and with no lag ??

Ya it will work.. for me those games run smoothly. If you want, you can use Chainfire3d which is free on google market. About the Subway Surfers our device can run the game, but you must download the apk that matches our device that is HVGA resolution. Mine i used to overclock to 768Mhz while playing Subway and lag still present, but i can still play it though Have a go !..

When I got my sola, I was excited about gaming, so I downloaded some cracked apks (just to try the games i want to buy). The first, was my favourita android racing game, Asphalt 7. It lagged like hell. It was unplayable. I asked the dear XDA Sola/U users, about their asphalt 7 experiences. Everyone said that it runss smoothly for them, so I decided to buy Asphalt 7 in Play Store. It downloaded the data, the game started, first track: Hawaii, minor lags, was still playable though, but then, when I tried london, It was just f*in unplayable laggy. The game ran smoothly for 2 sconds, but after that, 1 second freezing teleporting uber lagging, just couldn't control it. I'm just f*ckin pissed off, because when I used asphalt 7 on my ray, which theoritically has a weaker gpu (Quallcomm Adreno 205) than sola (ARM Mali 400), It runned buttery smoothly. Gamers, please tell me which rom/kernel do you use to play Asphalt 7 smoothly, and if you can please send me your deviceconfig.xml, and deviceprofile.xml files if you desire, any help appreciated! I'm at Stock GB + cile381 kernel ATM.

wipe phone.
Install TB and recover Asphalt. If your problem isnt fixed you can flash Play Rom
and recover Asphalt.
I had Play Ron and i could play these games without lags: Nova3, MC4, NFS MW, Gta 3 and my favorite My Little Pony
