Video Recording Apps - Legend Themes and Apps

Hi all,
I was just wondering, is there a video recorder app available which records in mp4 or avi mayby? as the stock program on my legend only does .3gp which is good for video quality but the sound quality is terrible.
Thanks
Will

[Q] Problems viewing HD movies?

Does anyone else experience lag when watching HD movies? The movies in question are mp4. I get dropped frames and out of sync audio/video when using the stock video player or mobo.
I had no issues watching them on my Epic.
I use MX Player and its great.

I use qqPlayer with the player's built in codecs. I only have issues when it's a ridiculously large .avi file.

I used it and it still doesn't work right. Maybe it's just the encoding that was done to the vids. Just strange that it worked flawlessly on the Epic and is so choppy on the Photon.

I did enjoy the wide range of codecs on the Epic, but having Netflix on this phone I'll live.

You can convert video to mp3 using media converter neon from the marker. It's a great companion to tubemate from tubemate.net.

Anyone find a decent video player for this.device

Doesn't seem to have decent hardware acceleration like the international version but i can't find any player that play video without losing frames. I play a lot if.video and i have the international note which handles video far better so i thought perhaps i.can.find a better player. Anyone?

Dice player did hw accelerated 1080p for me.

See now that's weird to me. I have dropped frames on MX on hardware mode and software mode works but the quality is definitely not as good.

Based on what I read above I eagerly downloaded MX Player. It was in no way as smooth as Zimly media player.
I picked up Zimly initially just to play music, I don't like bothering with playlists, I just wanted something to shuffle tracks.
Since I don't want to start another thread. I'll just ask it here ..
Is there a video player that can play mkv files WITH subtitles? Like Anime videos?
Thanks in advanced.

Video sound

Hey guys,
So when I record videos on my sgii and replay them on the phone there is no problems with the sound but when I extract them on to my mac or any computer for that and play the videos, there is a lot of static in the sound. The video quality is great but only have a problem with the sound. Can someone please tell me what I can do to correct this issue? Phone is updated to ICS 4.0.4 stock.
Thanks
