I think I'll pass on this ROM. I haven't loaded up a ROM on my slide yet, I haven't been on the forums a lot and am behind the power curve a little. I'm still weeding through some of the back log trying to pick out a good ROM to load. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the rom, i've been contemplating trying to compile from source, but its still over my head. Good luck with the newborn,they're.....fun. It gets better after about 6 months though.
Any one else wanna band together to squash bugs and learn some stuff? I work at a computer consultant agency (or, as we prefer, software mercenaries) and i am currently benched, aka, lots of free time.

was looking at the how to put a rom on your slide post but everytime i do step 8 it just say installation was aborted.

i really like the sense ui btw.just hate the apps that came with the phone.
same boat, i went with slidemeroot2. once you get familiar with adb, there are lots of guides on how to remove apps, and which once are safe to remove. im waiting for cm6 before i go senseless

The camera has no preview so you will be shooting blind.
Keyboard issues are still there... I suggest a good VK replacement like Smart Keyboard Pro.

I fixed Wifi / Touchscreen & got video loading correctly, so it's not all 100% Kanged from CM6 source..
Which btw @everyone.
New build coming shortly, nothing much else fixed but the light sensor is now fixed & auto brightness now works 100%

Yay! PLEASE include the SuperUser fix, too... it gets annoying when Titanium Backup needs to be allowed every time I install an app. xD

Well, not only 3g but I broke mobile network period. I had it earlier today but it was when I was on another version. I've been working on this all day so I'm done for tonight but I'll look into mobile network first, then camera.
This has a lot of potential! I want to try it, but I'll wait till camera and data is working. Thanks for bringing this to the 3d!

that would be great! I'm trying to find why I've lost data. Do you know if that is controlled in the framework, because i've narrowed it down to there but every file size in system/framework is different than in the base, so I'm looking at some time and trial & error to find the problem unless I get a hint on where to start

What did you change in between the versions that potentially killed cam and 3g?
Kinda cool!
Flashed fine for me. Did 4EXT wipe all partitions except SD and flashed the ROM only. The gapps were already there.
Tablet mode for the home screen is a little strange with the status bar at the bottom and the app drawer icon at the top, but I guess that's the way it's supposed to be. My tablet is still running HoneyComb so I'm not familiar with ICS on a tablet.
Definitely has promise and can add some sizzle to Devil Toast if you can work out the remaining problems.

Apearantly left out some stuff from the build.prop. Mobiledata/3g is working now. Camera still won't start but it hasn't worked for me yet so hopefully digital can help with that.
I'll be uploading .41 soon with data fix

Some things up with performance control don't use it. It got crazy use able sluggish for me. I downloaded nstools set to 200-1200 smooth like a babies butt.

Check to make sure it's not just signal issues. It may work but say no sig. I don't know why it wouldn't work since I'm using cms telephony repo.

Without that patch radio and galaxy s settings will not work (in addition to tons of other things on older devices).

How do I enable HALO?
Go into settings. Under Illusion System Settings, select interface. You will find Halo Options. Here you can turn on halo, and tweak the way Halo works.
Where is my Data toggle in the notification pane quick settings panel?
As of right now, the only way to toggle data is through the Data Usage menu in settings. A fix is being worked on for this. I believe the problem exists in quite a few ROMS for the One.
Why isn't my NFC working?
Don't worry, all you need to do is flash the file at the bottom of this post title NFC Fix. This fix was pointed out by @Pony Express.
How do I enable/Disable CRT animations?
CRT off animation can be toggled under Illusion System Settings>Display
How do I access Google Now?
On the HTC One, the HTC logo is NOT a button. However, in the Illusion ROM (and some other ones), the strip above the logo has been modded to work as a button. Long pressing that stip will give you instant access to Now
Are there any other Bugs I should be aware of?
Not sure if it is mac only, or whether this will occur on PC as well, but if you connect as MTP, mac does not recognize it. ADB and PTP work fine. It is only MTP where this issue occurs. At this point, I feel the issue is with Macs being unable to recognize the MTP protocol. I was able to work it on a PC.

It will be very close if not the same as performance and battery to most other aosp roms released around the same time. There is also a thread with little more feedback in the HTC One forum since they are basically the same except BuildProp for the most part.

So far this rom is running great on my htc one. Although one issue I have noticed is with the equalizer. When i first installed and started using google music and enabled the eq/audio effect it sounded fantastic. but I noticed today when I got to work that it doesnt seem to post process the audio anymore. disabling, force quitting music, then starting again and re-enabling the eq items seems to have no effect. The core audio still sounds goof (iv'e had issues with many roms where the audio was very scratchy and broken up after some use with the eq).
Is there any way to fix this?
Okay Guys got the 4.3 to boot up ,I know we are a little late to the party ...still...BTW no PA PIE and Hybrid for now...Next version Hybrid ...got halo and ribbons right now...and a new theme...its in alpha stage right now...

Screencap of the page where you would change the HTC logo to be the menu button. It is greyed out. Anyone have an idea as to why? Is anyone else getting this? I've turned on root through the dev options and installed superuser and it's still doing it to me. -_-
I don't see the link on your site for the T Mobile version of the rom. Just the international, AT&T and Sprint version are up. Not the T-Mobile One(m7tmo).

Seems to be working awesomely, the new stuff in here is pretty cool, BUT I have a question... How to I set my settings menu to be like in 4.2 on PACman, to have the left side for the categories, sort of speak, and the right side for the stuff in each category? Anyway, awesome work, CMB, I love it

theres a quicksettings tile you can use to change dpi of any app. open settings and then tap that tile in notifications. then change dpi to 120 and layout to 720p

Thanks man, worked like a charm. Now another question, please, gonna sound noobish, but how do I put an MP3 song as ringtone? I know in the past I had to make a Ringtones folder on the SD card, but it didn't seem to work on this...
there might be an easier way but all i can think of is to either use poweramp to set ringtone or install solid explorer and when you choose ringtone in sounds choose Solid explorer instead of media storage and then choose your mp3 file
Thanks guys, BTW new release tomorrow. I'll try to remember to modify the defaults like settings and such to have the tablet/phablet look as well. Please let me know if you find anything wrong or what have you and if possible send a logcat as usually that's enough for me to attempt a fix, or at least start on a fix.
I appreciate the warm reception and I am glad to have come to this side! I am done with a CDMA version as well however I can't test it due to the age of my firmware so I'll be flashing lots of things over the next few days to iron that out. I'd also like to start modding more of the different framework codes to see if we can get more out of this underrated device.

Pacman for the 3vo CDMA
I couldn't wait for a cdma version so i just modified the updater script and changed boot.img and she fired right up. I dont have any service plan now so i didnt care about data or anything like that. This has to be the best rom i've ever tried i love all the added features I'm so glad you still show the 3d some love. Will always come back to PAC no matter what!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!
