E10i Decrypted Roms for flash tool/omnimus - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

there are 3 packages that contain generic and operator roms

http://hotfile.com/dl/58228141/67dc091/E10i_o2_generic.rar.html
http://hotfile.com/dl/58228690/d9211d1/E10i_ora_t_voda.rar.html

omnimus can't flash X10 mini for now.
or not?

Someone needs to use seus to either update or reinstall firmware and dump the .sign and .bin files so that we can get the loader and use that with flashtool.
Jerpelea are these decrypted firmware from seus or from omnius server?

MarylandCookie,
firmwares from http://www.omnius-server.com/

i have already the loader.
but it bricks like you know :/

Interesting...
FlashTool should work then

Nope 2 bricked devices already, they still go in flashmode. But we are not able to recover for some reason.
the misterious is that even seus cannot recover now .... I'm a little out of ideas atm.

SEUS is the way to go.
Also binary's flash tool should be ok to use. Search this forum for more info, bricking is happening quite easily but is also easily fixable

Do you know what baseband you have? If not use the flashtool to flash stock 2.1 rom, root, install xrec & start over.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
My base band. its .54 if im not wrong. and i do not know how to use flashtool give me some instrutions PLEASE. thanks alot for helping.
don't use xrec 1.0.0. and/or your system/data/app/ram is overloaded.
Good say Sir.
Thanks for the advance warning Phillu97 but we are not even that close yet...plus I won't recommend it to anyone unless they know exactly what they are doing.
First go here and you might want to bookmark it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343
It has the flashtool, links to the stock SE firmare and instructions on how to use the flashtool, how to root & install xrecovery using the flashtool. If you are sure about BB54 then the file you need is this:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sqv6274anzfzn2x IF YOU HAVE AN X10I
or this
http://www.multiupload.com/9H20YEXEHR IF YOU HAVE AN X10a
Honestly either one would work but it's up to you. Make sure you read the until post 5 cause it will tell you everything you need. Post# 6 on that thread is optional and if you are flashing a custom ROM it's not necessary.
Good luck.
Oh .. so which version of xrec should i use? would ya Link it for me? And also wanna ask if i flash 2.1 rom. Dose it mean than my x10i is gonna be like when i just bought it? or something else? sorry for not knowing alot of stuff . i just joined in yesterday.

you need to use xrecovery version 0.3. If I find it, I will post it here.

You should use Xrec 0.3 which now can be easily installed via FlashTool.

v0.3 but you don't have to download it separately. Once you download the flashtool and root your phone, go to advanced and you'll see install xrecovery.
Was your device branded? If yes then then the answer is no. It will flash generic 2.1 firmware but maybe not exactly as yours originally.
That's ok buddy....we all started as noobs so don't worry about it. But do use the thanks button!! LOL
Alright Guys. Thanks Alot. making me feel so welcome already
oh. and whats the best ROM for xperia x10i with android 2.1? (gives highest gaming performance and Mhz)
Err ... what do you mean if its branded?
and about flashtool, does it require my phone to be in dubugging mode or mounted or not. bcos, my phone stucks at the home page. i cant drag the notification bar down. it wont respond to my touches at all, and my x10i flashmode is like, my computer cant even detect my x10i.

Branded like Tmobile, at&t, vodafone, etc.
Have you even looked at the thread I sent you? It has step by step instructions and pictures so it will be easy to follow. Common now bro....we can't just spoon feed you everything.
Mines StarHub. branded i guess. i downloaded the xrec 0.3... im waiting for the 2.1 firmware to finish downloading... ill try it out later. if theres more questions, ill post it..
Thanks alot yeah.
When i copy the Ftf file into the files firmware, click flash, click the (...), and then i go to thr files firmware and then i theres nothing inside.

Leave your phone unplugged from the computer when you ask SEUS to search for an update. Since it won't recognise the phone it won't find any updates and assume your phone it broken, so it will give you a repair link.
Click on it, and follow the steps.

This is stock firmware for the E10i for flashtool, move it to the firmwares folder and flash it like you would flash a kernel.
It's 2.1.1.A.0.6, baseband *4015, with a loader.sin for unlocked bootloader.
Let me know if your phone works after flashing this.

Don't know, I think you did something wrong somewhere, but glad it helped.
On the ICS kernel, only flash ICS-roms that state they need that kernel.
If you want Gingerbread, flash the nAa-GB kernel.

Hey man you are not supposed to use android sdk to relock your bootloader. There is a relocking ftf which has to be flashed. First flash stock ics, then flash the relocking ftf and reflash the stock ics rom
Then you will be able to update via SEUS or PC COMPANION.

MAn you made a huge error by using pcc, after unlocking your bootloader , sony tells you that do not use pcc and seus or ota updates as they may harm your device, even i do not know how pcc recognized your device, and with custom roms it is even harder to solve, however please can you tell me if cm10 is smooth enough?? anyway here is the solutiuon:1)if you have cwm try flashing a custom rom if a custom rom is available on your sd card or try formating your device. 2) flash the official ics .587 by using the flashtool :http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/38251 , if the drivers are not available for you to use the flashtool , go to help in the flashtool and hit drivers, and to let your device boot in flashmode ( your device should be off, a green light from your LED light should appear after booting to the flashmode) please hold the volume down button while connecting your device to the usb, to flash the ftf of .587 please click on the first button on the left and choose flashmode, then choose the ftf and flash it P.S: I am a newbie but not a noob, I helped a lot of people on sony forums and on gsmarena and other forums, if I helped you please hit thanks

Be sure that you choose the .587 not the .431 from uliwooly's links and if the flashtool shows you errors please try using the flashtool64 ( available in the flashtool folder), you have also another choice, download a new custom rom, use the flashtool in fast boot mode ( hold the volume up button while connecting to the USB connection) and flash the new custom rom , then try flashing the stock rom by flashtool if it doesn't flash it well on your current rom

With the earlier Xperia phones you needed to unlock the bootloader before flashing (that you are allowed to unlock doesn't mean that your bootloader is unlocked). To unlock you need the script and the code from Sony. At the moment I don't remember where to get both (script and code). And what about DRM-keys?, is it there a TA-partition to backup before unlocking? And so on...
I uploaded an update for newflasher here: github.com/munjeni/newflasher/issues/6. Tested with J9110.

How did you use the 2 files in the patch? Just copied them to Newflasher folder and run the whole process with the new .exe file?
How many times did you get error 997? Did you redo the whole process from the beginning or did you just unplug and replug the phone while the process was running?
Thnx

Hello guys,
I managed to flash my new Xperia 1 to Customized UK and EE UK firmware without problems. I didnt delete anything like .ta files etc. I just copied newflasher files to Firmware Folder, downloaded from XperiFirm and run Newflasher.exe in flash mode.
Vodafone UK carrier lock still exists after flashing though!
I am trying to get an unlock code for this from a seemingly legit site. (fingers crossed)

Download Flashtool, install it, then go to folder c:\\flashtool\drivers and install driver package, checking the first two options, flashtool and fastboot drivers. Then your mobile will be discoverable in flash mode. Shut down your phone and while turned off, keep volume down button pressed while connecting usb cable, till green light shows up
