Wall papers - Streak 5 Themes and Apps

Thought id share this because I like it. On the market there are 2 wall paper packs called rare black. They aren't in streak resolution but they don't suffer when stretched. They all look really cool on the streak. All free of course
try them out see what you think

Couldn't find any apps called rare black.

I posted this on another site, but it's what I've always used for my desktop and you can choose the exact resolution of the streak before you download, pretty cool stuff too
Since I'm new I can't post links but look up interfacelift dot com slash wallpaper

I am running 2.1 and can't get any wallpapers to look right. They all stretch incorrectly, even the ones that are the correct resolution. How are you guys getting around this issue?

Wallpaper resolution

Hi guys is there any way I can get wallpapers to resize to fit the streaks screen without cropping.
Do I need to modify the image manually? If so to what resolution?

I use a free app called Wizardrii and use 960x800 images and set them as "scrollable." It also supports larger images.

Try using Mulipicture-Livewallpaper that should be the answer for your query, its a live wallpaper to put static pictures as wallpapers, its free and available in market, provides some nice options as well.

Book and Manga reader?

Has anyone found a good manga reader for cell phones, or are they just too small? (Even the Dell Streak)
And can anyone recommend a good pdf reader? One that isn't slow to go to the next page, that has a good text reflow setting (I can't stand ezpdf's text reflow, and it is slow, to me.) For now, I'm just using Adobe Reader, but it has the minor annoyance of sometimes not saving the page I'm on. (I've been typing the page I'm on in a draft text.)
Pocketmanga. Been using it since i got my dx2. Its one of my favorite apps.

Well, obviously. But I have to do it with what I've got, lol.
Try mycomics
myComics is optimized for small screens.
Search youtube for "mycomics android" and check the clip of mycomics running on a Dell 5.

Photo Editing or Camera's app?

I am loving my SGS II. It is honestly the first device that I have used without even looking back at my iPhone. However the one thing I am missing is the camera quality. Whenever I take a pic on my SGS II most of my pics have red eye and I can't seem to find a good pic editing app that helps with that. Can anyone make a suggestion?

Have you looked at Adobe photoshop app. That is the only really good one I know off.
I haven't tried that one. I'll have look. Thanks

Little photo is pretty good free app. Camera zoom is good, I grabbed it when it was on sale.

Thanks again for the suggestions everyone, however I think I may have found one that works great. I am using Instagram's advanced camera. (Instagram, Settings, Camera Settings)
here's a list of alternative apps you can use.
photo editing:
lightbox,adobe photoshop express
cameras:
ics camera(need android 4.0+ ),camera 360, camera zoom fx
to remove red eye you can use this app (not free)

No one uses Pixlr-o-matic?
I do, and I kind of like it.

Here is a link to my HTC One 1080p Wallpaper folder on dropbox:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vjsv9rh2bcbumgt/QP4ogtZdHp
All walls are 1080p and perfectly fit the one. There are a few that are panorama. Took lots of work to get all these. Lots of editing, enhancing, color adjustments, detail adjustments, and some having to be redone from scratch. 90% of the walls were found on Deviant art or wallbase and then adjusted to how I see fit. I add more at LEAST once a week. Just the other night I added over 40. Hope you like at least a few.
added them to my dropbox. Thanks so much

When using dropbox on mobile to view them, they will appear compressed and lack detail. So make sure if you find a potentially interesting one that you export it to see it in full quality before deciding if you want to use it or not.

Make sure you check back every now and then since I add walls usually a few times a week.
Also if anyone wants to give thanks to me sign up for Copy in my sig below. It's really nice. Hopefully it won't get disabled if there's too much traffic. Will use it more for now on if it doesn't stop traffic.

Nope. Just single walls. So if someone just wants one they only need to download that one wall. Some people don't have the bandwidth to be able to download 700mb worth of walls.

Correct resolution sizes...
Scrolling: 2160x1920 - 1.13:1 (wide)
Stationary: 1080x1920
A lot of people are going around saying goes that 1920x1920 is the correct resolution for a 1080p mobile wallpapers. This is not the case. That equates to an aspect ratio of 1:1 (square), which is not ideal for a phone.

When did anyone ever say this lol. All my walls are 1080x1920. With a few panoramic walls for use with third party wallpaper apps. So they are whatever size, not just 2160x1920. Don't use panoramic so honestly don't care. Especially since the One doesn't have scrolling walls. Only stationary. Just thought someone might like having the full walls so I dropped them in there regardless of there width. Can be cropped either way.

... I wasn't speaking to you directly. My post was for anyone who decided they wanted a properly sized scrolling wallpaper. HTC may not have scrolling, but a majority of users use launchers which allow for scrolling wallpapers. That post was for them.
I grab most of my wallpapers from Wallbase.
Just modify the resolutions you are looking for.

Wallpaper Perspective Zoom for Android?

I got to play with a new iPad and i love the way the wallpaper slightly moves with the way the device is tilted. Is there a way to get this on Android?

No love?

I'm not sure if there's an app for it, the Galaxy S6 has this however, if I remember correctly someone referred to this as "parallax wallpaper".
