try Sendmms to save your mms to sd card. i use handcent app to send and receive mms.

I think he means send AND receive MMS. Also we could use a little more info about your problem, otherwise follow these instructions.
-Open the "messaging" application
-Select "New message" at the top of the screen
-In the message compose screen press the "menu" button, then select "attach"
-From there pick file of choice and send.

I buy a x8 before 3 days ago it is a my first android phone
I found some program on the market for sms but they don`t have message details(when the message was sent not when i receive it) like I had on my old phone..
Is there any application which provide message details?

ChompSMS and Handcent are good. Download both and see which suits you more.
I use chompSMS and its good, long pressing on the conversation list brings up lots of options. And yes, message details for individual messages are also there.

Here are the default 2.1 apps.
download the .apk and install as normal .apk.
in handcent u can`t see when message was sent only when you receive it...
can you see in chomp sms when the message was sent?

Not long had my X10i, and so far very impressed. However, Im trying to find out how to send a text message to my favourites. I run a football prediction league, and have 13 members. On my old samsung phone, i was able to type one sms and send to my 'group' of 13 contacts.
I have sorted my favourites out, but cant send an sms to them all at once?
How do i do it?

not sure that you can send it to a full distribution list
the only way is to select one then click left button to add more contacts you have to do that each time

Download the app Handcent, and use it as your messenger service.

i think after sending first sms with all 13 contacts (manuell added recipients), you will automaticly create an entry in your sms list, with a group u looking for.
1. new message
1.1. add recipient
1.2. menu key --> add recipient
1.3. menu key --> add recipient
..
1.13 menu key --> add recipient
2. type text
3. send sms
after this you schould create a groupe entry in your sms list. now you can use this to send further sms to your football group.

Thank you all for that. How do i group my contacts in handcent?
I've been unwillingly receiving some advertisement sms which charge my account once the sms is opened.
Is there a way to delete an sms message without opening it?.

yes, maybe some kind of code you can send to your operator/advertisement-sender which can stop the automatic messages, i know that kind of msgs sucks just find a way in google, i know different users experience that alot
You can download "SMS Popup" from the market. However you will need to manually configure it into "Privacy Mode" (or something similar). Once done, you will get a popup everytime you get a message, along with 3 options to "Open Message", "Delete" (without opening) or "Go to inbox".
I had the SMS POpup on my stock ROM but don't need it now on MIUI...

Are you sure it doesn't open the sms?
The android market page for this app reads:
NOTE: SMS Popup does mark message as "read"
so as far as the mobile carrier is concerned, the sms has been received & read, so it will still charge for those spam sms.

pls refer to my previous post - the app opens the SMS by default - but once you go to settings and enable privacy mode, it won't read the msg. A message is not marked as 'Read' as long as it's in privacy mode and you don't specifically open it. (Even the LEDs will continue blinking till u don't open the message)

SMS popup is nice, but does it show a history of all the sms, like the stock sms app on A2.1 does?
Also, to avoid duplicate notifications I've unchecked the "notifications" in the stock sms app, but it no longer shows incoming messages in the messages log. is this a bug, or is this related to sms popup "hijacking" the sms?

When I send SMSs to contacts, the message is delivered but it randomly says Draft next to contacts name. Does ne1 have a solution?
Do you try to reboot yr phone? If not then reboot it.

Have you tried to press the left soft key while in messages and select Draft Messages to check if any of them are saved?

Anybody can explain me how I can send contact information with an sms?
I go into contacts, select the contact I want to send and click on send contact using sms in the menu, this takes me to hangouts, but no contact information is attached so there is nothing to send.
I am using cm13 based rom
