those are the files needed to create themes for Fission 1.1. Both DX and D2 files are in the package. Some files are shared between the two and some are not. You should be able to figure it out by the way the package is broken down.
Please only use these files as they are unique to Fission ROM.

This theme is NOT compatible with 1.3! The framework have changed in 1.3 so unless the creator of the theme does not make a new version for 1.3 specifically it Can't be used!

Thanks I know now not to bother with trying to install it again.
Can I create a theme by just redesigning the original graphic files of one of the themes already included in the rom or this process is more complicated.

yes you can.
its quite easy as long as you remember to edit files that wont effect the UI, use pngs with the same resolution, and dont mess with xml files lol if you dont have to... other than that its pretty much jus copy and pasting pngs from one theme to another... good luck btw sense based roms use the framework-res.apk and htc.resources.apk... and CM based roms use the framework-res.apk and the systemUI.apk if this helps
is there a program to custom themes already made.
I just read the posts and wanted to know if there was a program that can do what you guys are talking about. I would like to make my own themes with themes made by other people. If the is no program then where would one start. Thx in advanced.
This is just a zip you can flash to erase whatever theme you are using (for stock ROM). This will install all stock apps, stock frameworks, fonts and boot animation. I use this when I'm testing themes. Much better than re-installing stock ROM because you don't have to do any wipes (keeping all your apps and settings) and it will keep your OC kernel active. Also much quicker than re-installing stock or restoring nandroid

Ok, I'm coming from the moment and everything seems to be a little more confusing on the shift. I just perm-rooted my shift yesterday. Now I'm looking to theme it. I haven't installed any roms or different kernals yet, because I'm really confused on which one to do, cause a lot of them say something is broken.
So what i wanted to do was apply the cyan dragon theme. So I assume this theme eraser acts like a theme template and I have to use it before applying any theme.
Now the next problem I'm having I can't even download this or the cyan theme. Every time I click on the download link I get directed to the dropbox site and I get a 403 error. I even tried creating my own account and logging in and still don't know how to get the file. Don't know if its a dropbox problem but I've been trying since last night. I've never used dropbox before so maybe I have to do something different to get the file. Unless it's an xda thing and I don't have proper permission to download this file.
Any help would be appreciated, cause I really want to theme this bad boy.

This is not a theme template per se. You don't need to use this to flash a theme. This is for when (for example) your on cyan dragon and you decide you want to try a blue theme. This puts framework, apps, ect back to default (using nfinites rom as a base deodex) since not all themes have the same themed apps and you don't want to have some themed apps leftover on the wrong theme. This is also much faster than reflashing a rom, keeping all your apps and settings. If you're trying to flash cyan dragon then I recommend flashing nfinitefx45's stock 2.0 rom found in android developement first. The issue with the links is dropbox related and I'm planning on moving everything to multiupload later on today, then ill update the links.

I wouldn't recommend it. Mikshift is an odex rom and this is deodex.

Well in that case I guess I would suggest the mikshift version cuz its odex as well... but it will basically become mikshift at that point...

Its suggested to do so. If you flash a theme over a theme there might be residual themed apps leftover as not all themes theme the same apps.

Note: It's highly recommended to use the new versions, since they work better with 2.3.4 roms, resolving voice issues.

I can't install iGOMyWay_8.4.2.139242_thin_v1.2.1.apk over iGOMyWay_8.4.2.139242_thin_v1.2.apk. I have to uninstall v1.2 first and after that install v.1.2.1, right?
I have the same problem. But iGOMyWay_8.4.2.139242_thin_v1.2.apk is o.k. without installing of 1.2.1.
For me both installed just fine. Try uninstalling 1.2 first, installing 1.2.1 and let us know if it works.

Ugh, just noticed that everyone who's having problems is using HTC Sensation.
1.2.1 is probably just an update on top of 1.2, not a complete app, though I have not clue what the differences are.
Anyway, if 1.2 works, I recommend using that. I will try to get in touch with the author of this skin in the meantime.

1.2.1 is NOT a full apk.
It is a patch for save some space in internal storage.
For your device You don't need this.
A few days will be a new version 3.3

Seems like you extracted the iGO folder to the wrong place, check your folder structure.
Also, make sure you overwrite all the files when copying.

So, this is not really a theme as it cannot be "applied" : main apk`s are modded (framework-res, contacts, mms, phone, settings, systemUI, AccountAndSyncSettings).
!! Warnings !! :
1- Locales availables are EN, PT and FR, the others are deleted.
2- Made with cm7 nightly of august 12 2012, so it's compatible with neutrino 2.9. But if you're running Official cm7 you can have trouble.
3- Make a full backup before tryieng to flash this !

Why not make a metamorph theme? That way you can elliminate at least two of your three warnings, and it will possibly be compatible with other ROMs too.
I know ... but absolutely all the png are modified (some xml too) and it will be a big job to rename all of them. Or not ?
You don't have to rename anything. Basically you just extract all the png/xml from apks/jars, put files from each apk/jar in its own folder, create a xml file describing the theme, and pack it all into a ZIP.

Sorry, I don't know of any tutorials (although some might exist). I normally just take an existing theme and adapt its XML.
It shouldn't be a problem modifying an existing XML, the file is pretty simple and straightforward.
I tried to flash this twice on nuet 2.9 and nothing changed....? Maybe I need the theme engine?

If yes and assuming you are on stock neutrino 2.9 rom ... there is possibly a problem with my install script ... I going to verify.
