[Game] Chronotron! - Vibrant Themes and Apps

Hey I released another game on the market called Chronotron. It's free. It's a 'port' of the flash game but with on screen controls. Just thought I'd throw it out there for anyone that's played it. It works on 2.1 and 2.2 Vibrants/ Galaxy S's. It's an old flash game so Flash Lite handles it just fine. It may sometimes be slightly sluggish when a lot is going on but I'd say it's perfectly playable.
If anyone here has any other flash games they'd like to see on the their phone but require a keyboard let me know.

cool, thanx

Actually this isn't working properly on the Fasincate on 2.1 and I'm running 2.2 atm. It loads on the Fascinate but the screen is small and multi-touch is weird. Anyone tried this with 2.1 vibrant?

I fixed it up for 2.1 ROMs. Works like a charm now.

I got it downloaded and installed just fine. It runs a little laggy when you have sound turned on, other than that, it's pretty good I guess.

[Q] How do I install this keyboard?

I was using Trip's ROMs before, and up until a particular version he was using a particular keyboard that I loved a lot. That keyboard looked very much like this and I think it actually is this one.

I got this image from this topic , great ROM, you should check it out. Anyways, how do I install that keyboard instead of the CM7 keyboard I have on my MIUI ROM? (Trip's one, but I imagine changing the keyboard works the same for every ROM.)
Well by the looks of it, that's the LG Optimus 2x keyboard and according to the thread you link it was 'ported' so I'm guessing you might need to download that whole rom and just grab the keyboard apk from the zip.
Or you could go around searching for the LG Optimus 2x keyboard
The 'iphone skin' pre-loaded in smartkeyboardpro is very similar, you may want to give it a try.

Alternative CM7 bootscreen

Has anyone got a different CM7-compatible bootscreen that looks good on the touchpad? One that is in landscape perhaps?
The Google Nexus screen doesn't work for me.

Google Gears works in everything so far.
Cheers.
I stuck the DukeOS one on and that works well, it's even roughly the right size for the screen, the TP boots so quickly that it only just gets to the final loop before it gets to the launcher. Cool animation though although the screen seems a bit dark.
Might try the Honeycomb animation too.
Remembered that you can just copy them into /data/local/ and it overrides the default one and persists across OS upgrades as well which is a bonus.
There was a really well done BIOS loadscreen that someone did for the SGS2 which would be nice to adapt to the TouchPad, I might see if I can track it down and have a look. There's a surprising amount of work involved.

Should I upgrade from my Xperia Play to Galaxy Nexus?

VS.
I've been getting tired of my Xperia Play because I can't find any good games to play on it and I mostly use it for music
I'm thinking the Nexus as an upgrade for my phone because it has way more devs which means more access to custom ROMs and such
I'm all about customization and speed and that's where the Xperia Play falls short for me, as I can use and ICS ROM for more customization or I can use a GB ROM for speed, I can't really have both
Bear in mind that I am not a noob, as I've done everything to my phone from changing icons to editing kernels
All in all I'm looking for a phone that can be customized down to the kernel splash screen and still be as fast as possible
I'm also taking suggestions on other phones under $265 (Verizon w/o contract)
Thanks
Also, I chose the Nexus 4 because Ubuntu Mobile just came out for it

[Q] Apps that use camera like QR readers have corrupted image with Jelly Bean ROM

I just installed the Jelly Bean ROM on my Galaxy Player 4.0. I used this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2333769
It works great, performance is like triple what it was before (my Gingerbread was seriously messed up), and it runs very smooth. The normal Camera app works fine too (camera support was preventing me from messing around with other ROMs in the past that lacked it). The problem comes when I use other apps that access the camera. I tried Google Goggles and Microsoft Tag (to read QR codes) and in both of them the image showed up like this, making the apps worthless:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It's not a huge deal, since I mainly just use the Camera app, but it's annoying not to be able to use these apps. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?
